Chemism of surface waters in small watersheds of the upper part of Stropnice river
BAXOVÁ CHMELOVÁ, Iva
Chemism of surface waters in four small watersheds of upper part of Stropnice River was studied from 2005 till 2007. The aim of this work was to consider the relations between different types of land-use and chemism of surface water. There were observed the concentrations of main ions and carbon in the surface waters in eight sample places which were measured monthly. The results were analysed with Repeated Measures ANOVA and Tukey HSD post hoc analyse was used for detail description. There were no differences between surface water chemisms in the upper parts of four streams. Watersheds in the upper parts are similar and can be considered as a close to natural landscape. In the lower parts of four streams which discharged different types of cultural landscape, significant differences in the water chemisms were found. Significant differences were observed also in the three streams in the water chemisms between upper and lower parts of the watersheds as a result of the land-use change. In the stream where land-use does not change between upper and lower parts of watershed, no differences in the water chemisms were observed. The results show positive relation between the chemism of surface water and land-use and possible effect of human impact on landscape ecosystem and its hydrological component.

Evaluation of vegetation remnants of former settlements in selected border areas
KALNÁ, Eva
Eva Kalná, 2010:Evaluation of vegetation remnants of former settlements in selected border areas. It was chosen region Zhůří for this work, which is one of the displaced villages at Šumava Mountains, which was part of the Dobrá Voda military training area. First, the work is devoted to the history of the village and then to changes in vegetation both directly and indirectly influenced by humans. The part of theme of this paper is primarily exploring areas of interest in terms of plant species, providing evidence of former settlements and making photographs and map outputs for each species found. The next theme is the evaluate of using the area from 1949 to the present, which over decades has fundamentally changed. Work also focuses on comparisons between the state of use from the 1949 today state habitat.

Historical landscape genesis in sub- mountainous areas.
MIHALČÍKOVÁ, Zdeňka
The aim of this work was to define changes in the landscape from 1949 to the present in the area of Zdíkov which is situated near Vimperk in the Bohemian Forest. The representation of elements land use was established- that are forests, arable land, water areas, water-courses, settlements, road network and permanent grassland - on each of the three aerial photographs from the years 1949, 1973 and 1988.The representation of elements land use was compared in each year on the basis of these photographes and the change and transformation of the original character of the landscape were defined in a given time horizon. The results were worked up graphically.

The evaluation of land use changes in last 50 years in the catchment of Jeninsky stream.
CEPÁK, Martin
It is in human nature to adapt the environment for his needs and wishes. Politics, technology and society as a whole went trough dramatic changes in Czech Republic in last 50 years. These changes approved naturally on land utilization too. This research is focused on the evalution of land use changes in last 50 years in the catchment of Jenínský stream. The research is based on photogrammetric scans from years 1952, 1974 and 2005. Polygon maps of land use in GIS were elaborated from these scans. Outputs of these maps were subsequently analysed and mutually compared.
