Kolinger, Martin ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Benáčanová, Helena (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with biometric devices designed for enterprise content security. The focus is primarily oriented on individual units and sets of devices, which are available on the Czech market. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is providing the reader with clear information on biometric systems designed to protect corporate and other types of content against unauthorised persons and in addition it helps to gain general knowledge of the whole dilemma of security by biometric data. The objectives were achieved mainly through examination and required offers from various companies which are moving in the line. Searched and gained information forms the greatest benefits of this work, together with multi criteria selection made by the weighted sum, and thus as an result of finding the optimal complex biometric solution for the type company. The basic concepts and principles of the surveyed line are characterised in the first part of the bachelor thesis. Some biometric methods are closely described with the principles of their functionality, advantages and disadvantages which were born into practice. Follow-up part adds some interesting information about the interesting observations in response to biometric line. The following part of this thesis closely approximates statistics of the position of biometric methods in international markets. In the final part of this thesis analysis of biometric equipment is made, which more closely think about separate and complex products from different market sectors. The obtained information is then evaluated using a weighted sum with predetermined criteria and weights. An optimal selected solution is the result of the analysis. The obtained data can also be used as additional materials in the process of selecting a supplier of a biometric system.

Verification of glucose assessment analytical method
ILLEOVÁ, Kateřina
The topic of laboratory accreditation as well as validation and verification of analytical methods has been very current in recent years. Because of the serious impact of analytical results of the measurement on practice, it is required that the results of the analytical measurements were as accurate as possible. This paper deals with the verification of the analytical method determination of glucose, as proof of achieving optimum measurement uncertainties. The verification of spectrofotometric glucose determination was performed using the Cobas Integra 800 analyzer by enzymatic hexokinase method. For the measurement in time the control materials of internal quality control were used and for the measurement in series the control materials of external quality control were used. From the measured values we specified the necessary statistical data (the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, the coefficient of variation, bias, yield) and using these we specified the values of combined and extended uncertainty. The combined uncertainties of both samples shouldn't be higher than 10 %, according to the SEKK association. The combined uncertainty of our first sample was 6.81 % and the second one had 6.45 %. The extended uncertainty of the first sample was 13.62 % and the second one had 12.90 %. From these data, we can conclude that the verification of analytical methods for the determination of glucose succeeded.
Importace of verification treatment irradiaton position of IMRT prostate
KŘÍŽOVÁ, Marcela
Prostate cancer is the most frequent oncological disease in men. Based on the disease phase and extent, patiens with prostate carcinoma diagnosis are treated with number of different therapies including radical prostatectomy, hormone therapy, chemotherapy, brachytherapy, conventional radiotherapy, conformal radiotherapy and combination of these. This Bachelor Thesis deals with prostate carcinoma treatment using a special conformal radiotherapy method - IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy). The first section describes the disease charakter from the clinical point of view and the disease diagnosis, followed by treatment modalities. The main part examines and describes IMRT, treatment planning and resultes from statistic evaluation of irradiation position deviations. IMRT technique allows escalation of the irradiation dose while protecting critical structures. In this way the patient can be irradiated with a total dose of 80 grays (Gy). Patients are irradiated in a linear accelerator. Modulation of the radiation beam using multileaf collimator allows irradiation of different segments of target volume with different doses, so that overal homogenity of the irradiation treatment is achieved through nonhomogenous distribution of the dose. Escalation of the irradiation dose is in a close relationship with the irradiaion position and isocentre position kontrol, so that the treatment quality is guaranteed preventing damane to surrounding healthy tissue. Fixing the patient in irradiation position as well as reproductibility of the position is of essentials importance. The isocentre in irradiation position is verified efore every fraction. Verification portal images are acquired using EPID (Electonic Portal Image Device) Portal Vision LC 250 and then compared with reference verification images acquired by CT when planning the treatment. Portal images are made up of two fields of 12x12 cm size under 0 and 90 or 270 degrees. Deviations are recorded in craniocaudal, mediolateral and anterior-posterior axes, and if they exceed 3mm, the irradiation position is corrected on the irradiation table. In this Thesis, deviations in a group of 30 patients were evaluated using the Aria-Offline Review programme which is an accesory to the treatment planning system. In one third of the statistical group of patient, deviations identified using on offline review were compared with deviations identified by start efore each fraction. Dutiny statistical processing, deviations were recorded within ranges 0-3 mm, 3,1-5 mm and over 5mm. 69% of acceptable deviations were recorded within the 0-3 mm range in the craniocaudal axis, 71% in the mediolateral axis and 67% in the anterior-posterior axis. Based on a complete analysis and evaluation of the deviations we can conclude that verification of the irradiation position in treatment of prostate carcinoma using IMRT is essentials to guarantee the irradiation treatment quality. We have also verified that deviations between 0 and 3 mm are acceptable and in no way impair the treatment quality.
The evaluation of the problems of verification isodose distribution - the simulation of the treatment fields on simulator Acuity.
KOCOUREK, Michal
The verification of the treatment fields{\crq} location on a simulator is one of the main activities within the field of radiation quality. Simulation pictures are compared with reference pictures (DRR). during the simulation. If a patient{\crq}s position during the simulation differs from the reference picture, the deviations are shown in individual axes. The aim of a radiotherapy assistant is to reduce the extent of those deviations to a minimum, or at least to the range of tolerance given in a tolerance table. The accuracy of the setup is an important factor in the process of quality assurance in radiotherapy. There are two methods available for the assessment of deviations on a simulator: - the method of anatomical structures comparison - the method of picture fusion In the case of the method of comparison of anatomical structures, the level of equivalence of the pictures is ascertained by using the multi-leaf collimator{\crq}s lamellas or the degree scale shown in the picture. Further verification of the accuracy of the setup is done in the individual radiotherapists{\crq} workplaces, specifically the linear accelerator and/or the cobalt irradiator, where the DRR is mostly compared with the portal picture. The method of comparison of the anatomical structures is used more frequently at the Radiotherapeutic Clinic of the České Budějovice Hospital than the method of picture fusion.
The analysis of aberrations in the localization of the radiated fields during irradiation of the patients with rectum tumors by EPID method
HARTMANOVÁ, Magda
The presented thesis deals with the analysis of deviations in radiation fields during the irradiation of the patients with rectal tumors. The first part of the thesis is focused on the current problems connected with rectal and rectosigmoid cancer both in the Czech Republic and worldwide. It also includes the description of risk factors, characterisation of the given type oftumor, manifestation of the disease as well as the prognosis. What is also tackled is the prevention, which is important and often neglected. It was necessary to mention the possibilities of screening and dispensarisation programs. The next part deals with the diagnostic process (from anamnesis to specialised examinations) as well as the therapy. Chemotherapy and surgery are mentioned only marginally whereas radiotherapy, including its planning and methods, is dealt with in a more detailed way. The main part consists of the analysis of deviations in radiation fields. The deviations have been obtained by means of EPID (electron portal image device) in a sample of patients with rectal and rectosigmoid cancer who are treated with the use of radiotherapy at the oncological ward of the Hospital České Budějovice, Inc. The maximum, minimum and average deviation in the localization of radiation fields were assessed statistically, by means of the khi-quadrate test. The results obtained will be submitted to the oncological ward of the Hospital České Budějovice, Inc., where they can contribute to the assessment of radiotherapy quality. The thesis includes supplements such as portal images and tables with graphs indicating the development of the incidence and mortality for the chosen diagnosis within the entire population.
