THE RURAL ARCHITECTURE NOWADAYS

My diploma work purpose is to frame and describe the development of some monuments of rural architecture in region {\clqq}Podšumaví``. In the first chapter I briefly open the main topic of the work. More detailed description of typical features of rural buildings is presented in next part, concentrated on specific area - the South Bohemia. In this range I aimed the focus especially on mikroregion {\clqq}Volyňsko`` and {\clqq}Vlachobřezsko``. Jakub Bursa, the bricklayer´s master, worked in this area in the second third of the 19th century and influenced on the final figure of local architecture. The principles of the bricklayer´s guild {--} J. Bursa was a member of it {--} are mentioned in the third chapter. Tha last and main part of this diploma work is presented by the state protected collection of rural architecture in the village {\clqq}Zechovice``. In this place we can understand the development of particular buildings in various moments of its history up to now (it depends on the fact, if the period documents are reachable). I also think about the possible, but not proved authorship of J. Bursa´s work in the case of some mentioned buildings. At the end of this part I remind the consequences of the state protection of buildings in the village.

This bachelor thesis called "Socialist architecture and its place in present society" focuses on socialist architecture and its relevance today. In the first part it characterizes the architecture between 1948 - 1989 related to the socio-political development. In the second part the department store Máj is selected as a representative of socialist architecture. This example demonstrates functionality of the architectural heritage of the Socialist era. The work also deals with the idea of preservation of modern buildings.

The bachelor thesis is concenrned to describing the underlying causes of threats and damage tengible cultural heritage. The bachelor thesis is focused on typing of their respective owners and describing the problems associated with it. Closely examines the work of some the main causes of demage and threats and propose their solutions. Individual knowledge of the theoretical part are demonstrated in practical examples from the Czech Republic.

Options of funding heritage conservation with the sample of the city Polná

This thesis called Options of fundig heritage conservation with the example of the city Polná is focused on the explanation of the system of heritage preservation in the Czech Republic and significance of the historical monuments and care for the cultural heritage. The most important part deals with the determination of the various options for financing monument preservation. The first chapter defines the basic concepts. This section includes the functions and competences of organizations and institutions in preservation and care for historical monuments, legislature and the obligations of owners of cultural monuments. The second chapter is focused on defining the various options for financing of preservation of monuments. These options include the grant programs of Ministry of culture, budgets of the municipal and regional authorities, the European Union and other sources. The third chapter explains the financial system of territorial autonomies. Covering general information about incomes, expenditures and making the regional and municipal budgets. Because of this these budgets are an important source of funding for heritage conservation. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the economic importance of heritage. The practical part of this thesis is focused on the city Polná. In this part we can find the main information about this city, the system of the heritage preservation in the region Vysočina and its organizations and institutions. The practical part includes also the list of the main historical and cultural monuments, which are located in the city Polná. The last part of the thesis (chapter seven) evaluates the using of grants and founding sources for financing care for the cultural heritage in the previous eight years. This chapter also includes recommendations for further options available for this problem in the future.

Financing of Cultural Monuments in the Czech Republic -- The Dominican Monastery in Pilsen

The thesis is focused on the issue of financing of cultural monuments in the Czech Republic with a special accent on religious monuments. Attention is given to the dominican monastery in Pilsen, its usage and management. There is a definition of cultural heritage in the thesis as well as its general legislative and institutional framework; next chapters target the specifics of the dominican monastery in Pilsen. The fundamental theme of this thesis is the compatibility of a reasonable usage of the potential of the monument with providing/ensuring sufficient financial resources for its administration as well as its operations and functioning. This is closely linked with the concept of object, including the care of cultural heritage and held activities.

This paper deals with analysis of the historical monuments insurance in the Czech Republic. In its first part it describes monuments in the Czech Republic and it shows specifics of their insurance. In the next part it focuses on monuments owned by government and their full insurance. In the end it evaluates monument insurance as compared to foreign countries and it thinks of the future in monument insurance.

Postavení městské památkové rezervace Jindřichův Hradec v cestovním ruchu

Práce analyzuje postavení Jindřichova Hradce v cestovním ruchu se zaměřením na městskou památkovou rezervaci. Charakterizuje situaci v cestovním ruchu v Jihočeském kraji s důrazem na kulturně-poznávací turismus a dále památkovou péči v České republice včetně legislativy a financování dotýkající se městských památkových rezervací. Popisuje kulturní dědictví v rámci MPR Jindřichův Hradec a jeho využití v cestovním ruchu. Analyzuje materiálně-technickou základnu a problémy města v oblasti cestovního ruchu. Součástí práce je analýza návštěvnosti Jindřichova Hradce a vývoj v posledních letech včetně definování struktury návštěvníků a jejich požadavků.

Economic projects in the field of utilization of the historical monuments in the Czech Republic

A thesis called 'Economic projects in the field of utilization of the historical monuments in the Czech Republic.' covers the issue of problematic upkeeping of the historical sights and some possibilities of their usage in the field of economic projects. Chapter one refers to the legal regulation concerning the maintenance of historical monuments. Chapter two is devoted to the history of sights upkeep in Europe and in the Czech Republic. Chapter three introduces the term cultural monument and the conception of the cultural monument as economic good to the reader. Another part of this chapter is devoted to the specificity of the economic projects in the field of utilizing the sights. Chapter four refers to the financial upkeep of the historical monuments, especially to the possibilities of obtaining the financial resources from the public funds. It also covers some other alternative ways of financing. Two following chapters deal with the issue of using marketing and management in already realized economic projects. Second part of the thesis is devoted to implemented individual projects. The aim of this thesis is to map the main troubled areas in realizing the projects in the field of utilization of the historical monuments in the Czech Republic.

Zámek Veselí nad Moravou

Diplomová práce se zabývá historií, současností a budoucím potenciálem zámku Veselí nad Moravou v Jihomoravském kraji. V úvodní kapitole se věnuji obecným vědomostem o památkové péči a vývoji památkové péče na jižní Moravě. V dalších částech práce popisuji zámek od jeho vzniku až do současnosti. Uvádím zde také projekty rekonstrukce zámku na čtyřhvězdičkový hotel, které se budou v budoucnosti realizovat. Zámek jako čtyřhvězdičkový hotel může vytvořit potenciál pro cestovní ruch a zvýšit návštěvnost Jihomoravského kraje. Rekonstrukce zámku je ovšem nákladnou investicí, proto v poslední části shrnuji možné zdroje financování, které by vlastník zámku mohl využít.

Památky na Berounsku

Práce s názvem Památky na Berounsku se zabývá problematikou péče o historické objekty a jejich současným využitím. První kapitola seznamuje čtenáře s právní úpravou památkové péče a vymezuje základní pojmy. Druhá kapitola se věnuje historii regionu. Část třetí kapitoly upozorňuje na problematiku ohrožených a nevyužívaných památek. Její další část pak řeší otázku významu vyhlašování památkových zón. Cílem čtvrté kapitoly je vymezit nejvýznamnější památkové objekty v regionu, o jejichž způsobu využití, vlivu na regionální ekonomiku a financování pojednávají kapitoly pátá a šestá. Závěrečná kapitola obsahuje studii zámku v Nižboře. Cílem této práce je zjistit současný celkový stav vybraných kulturních památek na Berounsku a jejich vliv na regionální ekonomiku.
