The following part is concerned receivables in selected stock company. More precisely it is trade receivables. This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of securing and collecting past due claims in the Ziehl – Abegg s.r.o. company. The theoretical part defines receivables, how they are created and secured from the legal, tax, accounting and economic point of view. The analytical part then analyzes past due claims of a designated subject. Based on the gathered information, suggestions on more effective collection of claims are introduced.

Registration of claims in insolvency proceedings

Registration of claims in insolvency proceedings Abstract In the financial world it is not uncommon for debtors to find themselves in a situation of being insolvent and unable to fulfill their obligations to creditors. Insolvency proceedings were created to resolve such a situation, enabling the creditors to have their claims registered and satisfied en masse (collectively). However, the registration of claims is a complex process consisting of several phases, namely the registration of claims stricto sensu, their verification and satisfaction. Proper understanding of each of its individual aspects is crucial for the creditors. However, constant changes by the legislator to the rules of this process make it difficult for creditors to understand them. The newest changes to the "rules of the game" are a result of two acts by which the Act No. 182/2006 Coll., on insolvency and its resolution (insolvency act) was amended and which came into effect in 2017. The amendments brought a number of changes, but changes to the registration of claims occurred mainly in the verification of filed claims, the status of claims registered by the homeowner association and in the filing of contingent and future secured claims. Insolvency Crimes Abstract The submitted rigorous thesis elaborately discusses primary insolvency crimes, implying crimes closely connected with contractual obligations between the debtor and creditors, bankruptcy and its resolution in insolvency proceeding. Although, the new criminal codex passed by Act. No. 40/2009 Coll., Criminal Code, does not give the definition of the matter of bankruptcy, neither contains separate part related to insolvency crimes, theory and practice consider to be the primary insolvency crimes damage of the creditor, preferential treatment of the creditor, causing bankruptcy, breaching the obligation in the insolvency proceeding and plotting in the insolvency proceeding, contained in articles no. 222 up to no. 226 of the Criminal Code. The aim of the thesis is to offer a synthetic presentation, pleasant for the readers and offers the maximum knowledge of insolvency crimes and its relation to insolvency law, of its offender, as well as the requirements of criminal and non criminal responsibility for their committing in regard of the subsidiarity of criminal repression principle. Insolvency proceedings in terms of periods and time limits

This diploma thesis deals with insolvency proceedings in terms of periods and time limits. The main objective of this thesis is to verify two hypotheses stated in the introduction. Author concentrates on the meaning of the periods and time limit since the ages of Roman law. Author is also paying attention to detailed analysis of law n. 182/2006 Sb., about bankruptcy and ways of its solutions (hereinafter insolvency law), as subsequently amended, which obtain treatises about the period or time limits. Author also evaluates the benefit of the insolvency law amendments, which will become effective in summer of 2017, and he will also propose law amendment de lege ferenda including possible impacts, which can be brought by this amendment, in the conclusion.
Reorganization of the VÁHOSTAV – SK, a. s.

The main objective of this work is to clarify and define causes, which led to decline of the Váhostav - SK, a. s., review completed reorganization of the company and give overall look on the reorganization possibilities in Slovakia, compared to the possibilities of reorganization in Czech Republic. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains a brief look on the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Act in Slovakia, with the main focus being on the restructuring process. The practical part is divided into two parts, first one describes restructuring of Váhostav - SK, a. s. The second part contains a critical view on the Slovak Bankruptcy and Restructuring Act, which is compared to the Czech Insolvency Act, where the main focus is still on the process of reorganization.
