Financial analysis

Goal of this Bachelor's thesis about financial analysis is to introduce the issues of analysis to the reader and subsequently do one on the selected business. The aim of the company analysis is to evaluate its development over the years, check its current status and make an own evaluation as well as provide insights of the company and its functioning. The first part of the work will focus on the theory of financial analysis, its relevance, potential users as well as methods and resources for its creation. The theoretical part will be complemented by information about the company PREFA Sučany, JSC, which is, for purposes of this thesis, the analyzed company. In the second part, the practical one, by using the mentioned methodological apparatus the financial analysis of the company will be performed from 2005 - 2010 according to the published results by the management of the company. Finally, the conclusion will summarize all the information from the analysis and create possible conclusions about the operations of the company.
The company efficiency and its evaluation

The focus of this bachelor elaboration "The company efficiency and its evaluation" is to review the company efficiency by means of the ratio indicators with the comparison of time progress. In this elaboration there are mainly paraller indicator patterns being used, in the concrete: rentability, activity, insolvation and liquidation. There is slightly described the value and bankrot indicators with the pyramid indicator patterns. And all that is being analysed in a particular company - Beton K.R. Ltd. Finally the efficiency of the selected company has been evaluated and there are suggestions being set for the further development.
Forming of returns, costs and trading incomes

The companies should not focuse only on the highest surplus. It is also important to elevate the value of the company. It is important to work out the financial analyses, so that the holders can learn the facts about the company. The financial analyses and the analyses of the particular costs, returns and income from operations are the subject matter of this thesis. In the financial analyses were calculated the traditional economic indicators ROE (return of equity), ROA (return on assets) and ROS (return on sales) for particular years of the period of 2003-2008, and they were compared with values of financial indicants in these years in the line of business. Next, the modern economic indicator EVA (economic value addend) was calculated for the period of 2003-2008.
The creation and use of income from operations, cash flow

The goal of this bachelor paper was analysed the creation of income from operations in hotel, which is situated in town Bechyně. The costs and profits were followed in this hotel. They were divided into the three main groups. The first is operational and the others are financial and extraordinary. The income from operations was also analysed and divided in the same three groups. The income from operations was also evaluated by indicators such as return on owner{\crq}s equity or return of sales and so on. In the bachelor paper was also analysed cash flow. Cash flow statement was prepared for the purpose of analysis. This statement is divided into three parts which are operational, investment and financing cash flow. At the end of the work is evaluation of results.
Final accounts and a financial analysis in a allowance organisation

The topic of this thesis is the use of information from final accounts in a financial analysis. Final accounts represent one of the most important sources of data and information necessary to compile a financial analysis and for correct decision making of external users. Nowadays, good knowledge of the financial situation in an organisation {--} its financial stability, liquidity and profitability {--} is necessary for evaluation of economical subjects. This thesis ought to provide the management, external users (especially the founder) with an ``instructions manual`` in order to produce a financial analysis based on the final accounts data and to draw their attention to possible stumbling blocks related to the real value of calculated indicators. The thesis is further concerned with the term ``financial health`` of a company. The aim of a financial analysis is to identify the financial health of the organisation, identify weaknesses, which might cause smaller or greater problems in the future, and to determine its strengths, which could be taken advantage of when planning its future activities. General information concerning the selected ratio indicators is supplemented with a practical example of an analysis of final accounts in an allowance organisation, i.e. a basic school. The aim is to evaluate the financial situation targeted at its financial stability, liquidity and profitability in the frame of its primary and supplementary activities in order to simplify the economic decision making of the organisation and to draw their attention to possible stumbling blocks related to the real value of particular calculated indicators.

The Thesis includes cost analysis, price realization and profitability of key agricultural products. The essential part of the Theses represents the Assessment of main factors affecting plant{\crq}s rentability. Analysis was carried out in period of years 2003 - 2007.

The main objective of this thesis is to identify and evaluate the overall economic situation of the selected company Halla, Inc. This company is specialized in the production of lighting and lighting equipment. My bachelor thesis contains two large units. It is a theoretical part where I bring in financial analysis in general, are a couple sources, which can be tapped in developing financial analysis and the bulk of the theoretical apparatus is methodical. The second part is a big part of the application, in which I am trying to assess the overall situation of the company from 2003 to 2009. Applying the knowledge thus gained in the theoretical part, practical demonstration. Finally, summarize the results obtained in the application part.
