Porovnání přístupu k bioplynovým stanicím v ČR a vybraných státech EU.

This diploma thesis focuses on biogas stations used in agriculture. The thesis is divided into two parts - the literary research and the practical part. The first part of the thesis introduces the overall description of the biogas, its production, definition, and use. Moreover, the input and output raw materials of a biogas station are described. Subsequently, the operation and the chronological procedure used during the biogas production and resulting electricity in biogas station are introduced. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the actual situation in Europe and the development of both, the biogas stations' construction and the production of electricity from biomass. This part also analyses preferred raw materials of selected countries of the EU. Electrical capacity (IEC) and a particular state subsidy policy are also mentioned in the thesis. The research also includes particular examples of a good attitude and use of biogas stations in practice. In detail, the thesis deals with how these topics are dealt with in selected countries. In the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and Poland. In conclusion, according to the ascertain data, the overall summary and prognosis for the future are introduced.

Describes the public administration of the Czech Republic and possible sources of municipal financing, including subsidy programs. It analyzes the EU and CR subsidy policies. The thesis analyzes a specific municipality, including a financial site, characterizes the investment project in the municipality and assesses its management.

The work describes grant programs some ministries, higher territorial governments, municipalities and other donors. It also defines NGOs and their division. One of the chapters deals with the instructions for the preparation and submission of the grant application.
Multifunctional agriculture in Czechia after accesion to the European Union: conceptualisation, development and regional differentiation

The dissertation deals with the concepts of multifunctional agriculture in the context of transformations of Czech agriculture in the post-communist era. In general, the study mainly wanted to discuss the concepts of multifunctional agriculture, known for over three decades, especially from the Anglo-Saxon environment, and to analyse the development of Czech agriculture as well as application of multifunctional agriculture especially in the period after Czechia's joining the European Union, including the perception of multifunctional activities by farmers. The initial part of the study discusses the concepts of multifunctional agriculture as non-commodity production (OECD 2001) and an integral part of rural development (Van der Ploeg, Roep 2003) on the one hand and of agricultural multifunctionality (Wilson 2007), on the other. The empirical part of the work was based on a quantitative assessment of regional differentiation of multifunctional agriculture in Czechia, the territorial concentration of multifunctional activities and dependence between the variables that influence its implementation. Impact of subsidy policy on profit of chosen farm

The main aim of this work is the ratings of the impact of subsidy drawing to support a particular agricultural business. The theoretical part includes a brief summary of Czech Agriculture in basic numbers and describes the weak and strong sides of the sector. The main part of this theoretical examination is the definition and explanation of the basic ideas in the area of subsidy drawing and summary of the subsidy instruments which are used to support the Czech agriculture sector both from the European Union as well as from national resources. The task of the analytical part is to make a financial and operational analysis of the selected agricultural business, the quantification of the effect of subsidy drawing on its operations and evaluation of the contribution of the received financial resources to the development of the agricultural activity. For this effect, the method of financial analysis was used, which represents a major part of financial management of a company.
Quality coefficientes in financing of tertiary education in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Educated people are becoming one of the most important priorities for the countries nowadays. It is the educated population that is the main prerequisite, which can ensure economic growth, stability and prosperity of a country. Because universities are considered the top education centers, it is suitable to focus on themselves. Tertiary education is one of the areas which is bound to national budgets of both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Both countries must solve difficult questions focused on allocation of funds to individual levels of education and the schools themselves. The bachelor thesis focuses on financial system of tertiary education in the two monitored countries and in description of mechanisms, which govern the subsidy policy. At the introduction, the education is set into the context of public finance, where its dimension is perceived as a positive externality. Later it fluently continues to a legislative framework of tertiary education of both countries as one of the factors, which affects the economics of universities with funds. Then an analysis of system of financing the tertiary education is performed, where there are quality coefficientes introduced in the Czech Republic. It consists of partial indexes, therefore the amount of obtained funds from the government for public universities depends on indexes of the coefficient. It is for instance results of development, research and art activities, number of professors and associate professors, or number of employed alumnis. At the conclusion the goals and knowledge coming from the analysis are summarized.

The thesis "Financing of Social Care services for the Elderly in the Czech Republic - Current Problems and Challenges" deals with analysis of system of social care services for the elderly in view of the fact that the current financing form is subject to criticism for its inefficiency. The aim of this thesis is to critically reflect changes in the provision and financing of social care services for the elderly in the Czech Republic after 2007 in the context of current challenges related to long-term social care and health care. The thesis in its introduction first deals with the formulation of the research problem, deals with particular targets, research questions and the methods of data collection, which are the methods of analysis and public policy making and qualitative research methods. It also discusses the theoretical background of social services and their financing. The thesis deals with the assessment of landscape character of the selected and mapped locations. It also covers the topic of establishing orchards and their integration into the local landscape. The theoretical part describes the history of orchards in the Czech Republic, defines the notion of landscape and landscape protection in the Czech legislation. Furthermore it explains general information of the drawing of European grants and mentions practical solution of orchards in land consolidations. The practical part consists of elaborated details of the project of planting and management technologies in a particular orchard. There is a description of the basic rules for getting a grant contribution in the field of landscaping. This part deals with landscape assessment including a proposal for a potential increase and protection of the landscape in the area.
Economics Potential of Family Farm

The aim of the diploma thesis is a study of the economic potential of a small family farm in Southern Bohemia, especially via a financial analysis, an analysis of subsidies and the SWOT method. The thesis describes the methodical basis of chosen analyses, discusses agricultural methods and current agricultural politics of the Czech Republic in the framework of the European Union. The main body of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of the studied family farm, its property and production capabilities. The financial analysis evaluates the farm based on specific indicators from year 2012 to year 2016. Furthermore an analysis of agricultural subsidies of the farm in the same time-period is carried out. Performed retrospective analyses provide an overview of the economic health of the family farm and contribute to the breakdown of the enterprise's internal environment Enterprise's internal environment is analyzed using the SWOT method, which provides four possible strategic solutions for improvement of the family farm future development. From the proposed solutions the best option is chosen based on the Multicriterial Saaty method, which is best fulfilling specified criteria. The conclusion discusses economic potential of the family farm and present and suggests possible application of the chosen strategic solution.
