Art therapy when working with children with asthmatic disease. This thesis deals with the effect of art therapy techniques for children and youth suffering from asthma. The theoretical part deals with the diagnosis of asthma, history, present, psychosomatic. It characterizes children with the diagnosis of asthma, further describes the possibilities of psychotherapy, forms and methods of art therapy. The practical part includes characteristics of research sample and the enviroment, art activities. It describes and evaluates the options and the use of art therapy for primary school children.

Usability of Therapy Art Techniques in Social Work

In the first step my thesis introduces theoretic solutions of both mentioned disciplines. After that it looks for places of applicability of therapeutic art techniques in social work by a practical form. The final part describes specific of benefit of the mentioned techniques for social work, as well as in specific methods of social work - social work with an individual, a group, a family and a child client.

Specific use of art therapy in the aftercare center

This work focuses on the concept of art therapy in Aftercare center, in the service of dealing with follow-up care for people who are recovering from addiction, especially on non-alcohol drugs. Given topic is treated in the theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the paper summarizes the basic definitions related to drug addiction and dependent personality description, followed by an after-care services and focuses on the principles and goals of treatment of addiction. In the treatment of addiction is the default selected using psychotherapy and expressive psychotherapy - art therapy. Art therapy is described as a field, along with historical context, the definition of guidelines that define the field and determining the place of art therapy in the treatment of addiction. The introduction of practical work is described in detail Aftercare center Prevent, focusing on the course and composition of the art therapy program and representation in it. Then are presented work in the background in art therapy Aftercare center Prevent. The main place of work is to present specific case studies of clients with analysis and interpretation of artifacts that illustrate ways of working within art therapy group with respect to the method Rožnov art therapy. The conclusion summarizes the specifics of the use of art therapy in the type of equipment described and obvious benefits for the field of art therapy.

Therapeutical aspects in three dimensional works by teenagers

This bachelor thesis describes the spatial aspects of therapeutic work and its contribution to art therapy. It focuses on artistic expression during adolescence and the earlier period, the art of crisis, for which the recourse is the use of three-dimensional work. This thesis is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical. The practical part includes a proposal to create a spatial overlap with therapeutic techniques, to enhance existing traditional spatial techniques used in art therapy. A part of this section is the practical realisation techniques, methods of work and subsequent analysis of resulting artifacts, including their visual presentation.

Art expression of elderly people

This bachelor work focuses on the use of art - therapeutical methods in working with seniors. The theoretical section of the work depicts the main psychological attributes of getting old, which can be reflected in the expression of an art work of the elderly. In the first part of the theoretical section the changes of cognitive and sensitive sphere, which begin in the old age, are described. Further, the changes of motion ability, intelligence, emotions and personality are described. The work also touches the topic of degenerative diseases. The second part outlines negative consequences of social changes in this lifetime. The last part of the theoretical section is devoted to art therapy and its use in the work with seniors. The practical section explores the expression of art work of seniors with its typical characteristics. A qualitative research was made to find out the way of processing, level of art performance, colorfulness, presence of details and working with them etc.

The journey into the depths of Švankmajer's art creation

The Bachelor thesis discusses the work of Czech artist, animator and director Jan Svankmajer and the possibilities of interpretation of his work. At first the thesis deals with a problematic issue of artistic (surrealist) interpretation of work according to psychoanalysis, with regard to the development of the discipline. Further the thesis monitors selected aspects of artistic creation due to the work of Svankmajer. The theoretical models are applied in the next part of the bachelor thesis, during the analyzing the movies of Jan Svankmajer and its central themes penetrated whole his creation. The study aims to find, if possible, an adequate method of interpretation and insight into the creation of a particular artist-Jan Svankmajer (with the emphasis on the differences of view on the work of acclaimed artists against the creation of a layman or a client in the therapy) in accordance with the point of view of Rožnov school of art-therapy.

Art Therapy Workshops in Children's Homes

The bachelor's thesis deals with the use of art therapy with children living in children?s homes. The theoretical part deals with the specifics of the behaviour of such children. It focuses on deprivation disorders and the Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) Syndrome and presents the artwork produced by the affected children. The practical part attempts to characterize the artwork of deprived children. A particular case of one child is presented along with the analysis of her artworks. Lastly, the feasibility of using art therapy in children?s homes is discussed.

As a main guide in determining the objectives of my thesis, I had used the most recent sociological researches from which I had derived some of the social public needs and in order to serve those needs, I tried to find ways, how it's possible to enrich Prague's cultural life and use art therapy in routine practice of Prague's NGO Unique Vision Project o.p.s. to strengthen social cohesion and integration. I present outlines of a business plan and a detailed plan of the various social activities which by means of applying art therapy techniques in various degrees of combination of educational activities with fun and interesting way to adjust to the needs of the target categories shall lead to social education, cultivation of civic debate and personal development for both: children and adults.

The receptive art therapy with handycaped person on a wheelchair

The work deals with receptive art therapy and usability for physically handicapped people. The first three chapters can be described as theoretical part. In this part I compare the concept of art therapy from several authors, and I mention the division of art therapy and its goals. In addition, I describe the physical disability, mental state of a person with the disability and how healthy society perceive these people. Last but not least part, discusses the use of art therapy just for people with physical disabilities. The fourth chapter is a practical part. First, I present a case of client to whom the work is partly intended. There are also collages, which the client describes. These collages are created by different authors on specific topics. Interview, which I conducted with the client, are then analyzed and compared with a life experiences, which are evident from the case studies. Summary of the analyses is the final chapter, which summarize the most frequently stated themes, which deals with Mrs.A. descriptions collage. The last chapter shows what is important for the client and what is currently engaged in her mind.
