INTERFERENCE POSSIBILITIES OF HABITAT OF CARIES IN CHILDHOOD IN BLANSKO
VAŠÍČKOVÁ, Pavlína
The tooth decay is the most widespread disease. The preschool and school age is important period for the tooth decay prevention. The nutrition of children is one of the most important part in interference occurrence of the tooth decay, dental care is also necessary by using chemical and mechanical agents. It is very important for choldren to know the caries prevention. There was found by this research that the nutrition of children do not correspond to the caries prevention, the good and quality nutrition is not given enough for them. The older group is in the worse position. Using the tooth paste and fluorine, the sufficient period of cleaning one's teeth, chewing gum etc. can be positive valued in the problem of the dental care related to the chemical and mechanical agents. But other results of this research in this area show that the dental care is not fully contitioned. The children are not informed enough about the caries prevention related to the nutrition. The parents' and stomatologist' concern in giving the children the information about the dentition is positive, but the role of school is very small and the pediatrists do not give any information. It is necessary to improve the active children attitude and increase the responsibility of the parents, teachers, headmasters, stomatologists, pediatrists and news media. The sense of my work consists in gaining the information about the nutrition of children, dental care and their knowing of the caries prevention.

The role of primar nurse in prevention of obezity by children
PULZOVÁ, Alena
Obesity is ranked among the grave world health problems and its prevalence is still increasing. Children's obesity presents dangerous problem not only in advanced countries of the world. The Czech Republic is in the first place in Europe in distribution of children{\crq}s obesity. The fight against this disease is not apparently so difficult. Mostly it is enough only change our lifestyle painlessly, meal plan and do some sport activity. People who suffer from obesity should make an appointment with their doctor and discuss it too. On the other hand, much easier is to predate this disease and exactly in this case is really important the role of a nurse. The theoretic part of this work is focused on the actual state of children{\crq}s obesity. The next part is about division of children age, nutrition at this age, definition of the obesity, its causes and complications. The last part is focused on the role of a nurse in prevention, diagnostic and treatment of this illness. It was applied the form of checklists to quantitative research. Questions were destined for nurses in the primer care in České Budějovice, Strakonice, Prachatice, Jindřichův Hradec, Písek and in other smaller towns. The first aim of this work was find out what awareness of nurses in the primer care in prevention of children{\crq}s obesity is. The next aim was find out if nurses are actively participant in prevention of children{\crq}s obesity. Both of these aims were discharged. The first hypothesis should testify the awareness of nurses in the primer care in prevention of children{\crq}s obesity. The second hypothesis should testify that nurses are not actively participant in prevention of children{\crq}s obesity. Both of these hypothesis were discharged either. I have chosen the work on the topic: ``The role of the primer nurse in prevention of children{\crq}s obesity{\crqq} because recently this topic is very actual and also I am very interested if nurses really try to predate this disease by children.
CHILDREN´S HABITS CONCERNING DRINKING REGIMEN AT BASIC SCHOOLS IN THE TOWN HAVLÍČKŮV BROD
TVRDÁ, Lenka
Water is necessary for life, it forms essential part of body and many important chemical reaction takes place in it. Water intake is influenced by hypothalamus what is expressed as a feeling of thirst. Fluids are intaken especially in form of drink, less from food and metabolic processes. The biggest water release is by kindness, less by skin, respiration and stool. Insufficient water threatens by dehydratation. Child{\crq}s body is vulnerable to dehydratation more then adult{\crq}s body. In developing countries 4 -5 millions of children per year die of dehydratation per year. Smaller lack of water is expressed as higher tiredness, inattention or headache. Mucous membrane dries up and has predisposition to penetration of infection and constipation or lack of appetite can appear. Chronic absence of water can be initiatory moment for formation of cholelithiasis and renal stones. Lack of water during school teaching can decline efficiency and capability of concentration. It is well known that drinking of extra sugar beverages leads to egestion of insulin with subsequent rapid decline of blood sugar. High capacity of sugar in lemonade leads to satiety as a consequence of children refusing food. There were used two methods for data collection - direct questioning (in the first and second classes in school) and questionnaire (from the third to ninth classes). Rate of return was 100 per cent. The aim of work is survey of informedness with real children behavior. These hypothesis were verified by research. Hypothesis 1: Children are well informed. Hypothesis 2: Children disobey these information. Hypothesis were confirmed in major part of stand point. I thing that my research brought up new pieces of knowledge concerning drinking regimen at basic schools. Results can be used as basement to next research in this area and extend information concerning this problem or for preparation of prime prevention programs at basic schools.
Psychosocial aspect of pediatric onkology. Child and Family.
LEMERMANOVÁ, Stanislava
The work, which is focused on learning about families living with a school-age child suffering from a cancer disease, has brought a number of findings and experience. Its goal was to map general climate of a family living with a child suffering from cancer and an effort to record some of its typical or specific differences. Interviews of ill children, their siblings and parents brought the most important finding regarding functioning these families. Interviews of children imply that they have enough information about treatment and examinations, however, not enough information about the disease. Communication of parents and children about the diseases turned out to be problematic. Some children want to know more about the disease but their parents are unable to meet their needs. Interruption of school attendance, and thus, interruption of the contact with schoolmates is the most depressive change for children. In the interviews parents say that the worst period was the one when it was already obvious that the disease was serious but the diagnosis had not been set. Child{\crq}s disease entirely changed everyday life of the families; everything was governed by the fact whether the child is in hospital and how he or she feels. One of parents had to stay with the child and thus the family split. Healthy siblings found themselves in the shade of the ill child, the older ones tried to understand the situation and help their brother/sister and the parents as much as possible. Deepening of the relationship between the parents, psychic maturing of the ill child and his/her older siblings, and change in the value attitudes of parents may be ranked among the positive changes. The situation brought a clear and factual result that all family members are extraordinary close to each other and the families are adaptable. Serious disease of the child results in a fact that the families function in a stress situation and more intensive solidarity and adaptability are a necessity for them. On the basis of the research we may say in the conclusion that relevant attention and care should be paid not only to ill children and their parents but also to their healthy siblings. Tumour disease and risk to the child{\crq}s life represent an extreme stress for a family. The structure of the family changes and its everyday life turns upside down completely. The families I met during the research were managing the situation well. Even though the situation was exhausting for them and some faced communication problems, they could all function and take care of their ill child.
The possibilities of financing of compensatory aids for handicapped children
JIRÁSKOVÁ, Eva
The goal of this paper is to show the basic survey of the compensation aid tools that are good and a sometimes necessary for a good development of the handicapped child, for his better social integration and for the well function of his family. I also wanted to present the possibilities of financial support from health insurance companies, social- and health department and last, but not least the support of nonprofit organizations. The survey shows that parents does not have enough information about gathering financial support for compensational instruments for physically handicapped children. We can also mention that the information receive mainly from their friends, parents of handicapped children and in Southern Bohemia even thanks to Chilren Centre called ``ARPIDA``, which provides the complex care especially to children with corporal and combined handicap. It also follows that parents would thank to any other chance about possibilities of financing compensational instruments by means of doctors, informational materials, etc.
COLOURS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON CHILD´S PSYCHE
MAKALOUŠOVÁ, Iva
In my bachelor thesis, which is devoted to the topic Colours and their influence on a child{\crq}s psyche in kindergarten, I concentrate on the problems of the colour influence and I try to develop the basic questions of colour theory and their application in the pedagogical-training programme of a pre-school child. I try to discover the depth of subjective and objective colour perception and their psychological meaning. I research the colour perception and also the choice and preference of colours at child-ren aged three {--} six years. Colours inherently belong to a children{\crq}s world and children love them. That is why my aim concentrates on working with colours more consciously and use them more on the field of psycho diagnostics and psychotherapy, thus in experience. I hope it will be possible to use the results of this thesis in a wide range of pedagogical-training programme at pre-school children
