Financial analysis and public contracts influence on SIGNALBAU a.s. and its economy

The Bachelor thesis deals with financial analysis and influence of public contracts on SIGNALBAU, a. s., in period between 1. 7. 2004 and 30. 6. 2010. Company falls under building industry and its main focus is on construction and reparation of railroad safety engineering in Czech republic and abroad. The first, methodological part, contains general explanation of financial analysis and basic terms connected with problem of public contracts. The actual execution of financial analysis is done in the second part of the thesis, where I evaluate financial health of the company and compare it to its competition, Trakce, a. s. The conclusion is dedicated to measure the influence of public contracts on company's economy and management.

Set of Problems connected with Household Indebtedness at Economic Crisis Time

The aim of my Bachelor's thesis is process the problems of indebtedness of households or individuals in times of economic crisis. In the theoretical part I consider the actual economic crisis, its origins, development and impact on the economy in the Czech Republic. Next I focus on an overview of possible debt, like credit supply to the Czech market, both banks, and non-banking institutions. I also summarized the possibilities of households that are unable to repay loans. In the practical part I analyze the evolution of household indebtedness, and in particular the factors that most affect the final balance of households. As an annex to this thesis, I feature a pilot survey that I conducted to find out who has the most leverag today.

The Diploma thesis is focused on regional labour market development in Highlands during the economic crisis that brought negative impacts, especially into an area of industrial production. The main objective of thesis is to evaluate this labour market development, to analyse the impacts of economic crisis in selected economic entities that are significant regional employers and to research of practical solutions of negative consequences for elimination of this negative impacts needs. Integral part of thesis is also presentation of instruments that were implemented by regional institutions as part of employment policy.

Effects of Economic Crisis to the Czech exports Development

The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to evaluate the development of Czech exports in the years 2007 - 2010 and on the basis of the acquired information to propose appropriate measures to improve the situation of Czech exports. A partial aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to analyze the situation of Czech exports at the time of economic crisis, its comparison with chosen member countries of European Union (Slovakai, Poland, Hungary, Germany) and the market research intent on companies focused on export in the area of engineering, mainly the production of various machinery and gadgets. The result of this Bachelor Thesis was finding a very bad situation of Czech exports especially in 2009 when there was a setback. As a result of market crisis, most companies had to lay off their staff and reduce some other expenses associated with the business. Czech Republic and other analyzed countries had to take various measures to mitigate the negative impact of the economic crisis. Most commonly there was provision of favorable export loans and insurance, and also extending maturities.

Impact of economic crisis on the export of the Czech Republic

The goal is to evaluate the impact of economic crisis on the export of Czech Republic. It also analyze the dependencies between selected countries in the export field. The work is based largely on statistical data and methods of statistical analysis (descriptive statistics and graphical outputs). The first outcome of this work is to evaluate the economic interdependence between the Czech Republic and neighboring states. Further, a prediction of the developments in the field of export into the future.

The Great Depression (1929) and Its Influence on Political and Economic Life in Latin America

The Bachelor Thesis entitled `The Great Depression (1929) and Its Influence on Political and Economic Life in Latin America{\crq} is split into three main chapters and six sub-chapters. The first chapter discusses the roots of the world economic crisis in the United States of America which played the key role in Latin American countries. The second chapter is entitled `Economic Consequences of the World Depression{\crq} and deals with the economic situation before the start of the ``Big Crack``. It primarily highlights different approaches to addressing the consequences of the crisis, including a proactive economical policy and a passive economic policy. The former relied on government regulation of the economy, while the latter was based on the policy of non-interventionalism. The third last chapter is focused on political impacts of the Great Depression, in particular those affecting the shape of the state system. This section examines the rise of right-wing populist military dictatorships, the emergence of ideas of communism and the decline of democracy.

SOCIOPOLITICAL SITUATION IN THE FIRST REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSLOVAKIA ERA

Sociopolitical situation in the first republic of Czechoslovakia era This bachelor thesis deals with the social-political situation in the first Czechoslovak Republic. The main aims of this work are to chart the social- economical precautions in the ecomomic crisis in the thirties of Twentieth Century. The next view is the state intervention within the frame of employment policy in 1918-1938. The work has been done on the basis of qualitative analysis based on the special literature sources with the help of content analysis method together with secondary analyses. In the theoterical part of the work are shown especially social problems of Austria-Hungary. These problems were directly connected with the foundation of Czechoslovakia. In this charter I have described the laws unnecessary for the foundation of new republic and also social laws (e.g. Ministry of Social services´ foundation, laws concerning working hours and works committee). The whole economic situation together with political and social development have been outlined. In the next part of the work named ?Golden years of Czechoslovakia? brilliant years in first Republic era have been described. Our country made a great progress in the economical and social areas. In this time very important social laws were legalized, for example the law of health, disability and old-age insurance. It was the initiation of disability and old-age pension, later the foundation of life insurance, vacation law or ratification of international contracts in the area of unemployment and health insurance. In practical part of this thesis the list of social-political precautions have been drawn up. These precautions should have improved the situation in the country, especially in social areas (prevention of unemployment, to create the offices for surplus labour and foundation of finantial support for unemployed). The next part of the work contains state interventions in the form of laws, regulations and organization precautions. The final part of the thesis contains conclusions, including the analyses of state interventions and social laws made in interwar period in Czechoslovakia.
