Six-legged Walking Robot
Kotrík, Lukáš ; Burian, František (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design and construction of a walking six-legged robot. It consists of several parts which are exploring the process of design and construction of this robot. The thesis begins with the explanation of problematics of walking robots and then moves on to description of designing the robot. Further, the skeleton of robot is designed and the torque in each leg joint for every hypothetical servomotor is calculated. In next part, suitable servomotor is picked according to specific criteria and after that, the main board for robot and program microcontroller are created on same board with programme which we also created. In addition, an application named ConnectMe was created for wireless communication with robot. In the end, the entire construction process of robot is clarified.
Home Automation
Rástočný, Martin ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis analysis a theoretical basis of the home automatization. The thesis contains the overview of commercial realizations of an intelligent house. The thesis also contains design of device, which could distinguish low and high tariff. Design of device is focused on wireless control of aquarium. In the following chapters a overview of components, design of circuits, practical realization and test of whole system.
Measurement of greenhouse gas concentrations
Dohnal, Jan ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the greenhouse effect, various gases and methods of measurement. On the greenhouse effect is viewed from its historical dating, despite changes in atmospheric composition. It contains a theoretical analysis of the individual gases. It focuses on the most harmful greenhouse gases such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, ozone, chlorofluorocarbons and halons. Analysis methods for detection of gaseous substances. Part of this work is focus on the detection of nitrogen dioxide, chloro-fluorocarbon and methane. The data is processed using a ATmega’s microcontroller and then sent to an Internet server thingspeak.com. If the device proves successful, will be used as a laboratory exercise in the course Ecology in electronics.
Management of Heating Energy at Home
Dohnal, Stanislav ; Grepl, Jan (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The aim is to adapt the old heating system so that the new system will meet the needs of users and facilitate control of system. The new heating system can independently control heating automatically. Its important part is remote access to system control. The user always has up-to-date information and can adjust the heating to suit his needs.
Smart Plug
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis discusses the design of a smart plug. The theoretical part focuses on the individual parts and functions of smart plugs, and their functional possibilities are analysed together with the related fabrication perspectives. The practical portion concentrates on the selection of appropriate components and proposes a complete design of the hardware and software of a smart plug, including a web server for its control. The practical portion also describes a calibration of a measuring part and compares measured values with values from another measuring device.
Internet of Things Device Based on Bluetooth and COAP
Fuchs, Ondřej ; Husák, Jiří (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with nowadays very mentioned concept of the Internet of things. The main objective is to define the Internet of things, describe the history of the formation, basic characteristics, development, security issues and the associated risks, trends and possible use. Then describe possible technology and data transfer protocols, manufacturers of device and then outline the future of the Internet of things. Thesis also includes the design, implementation and testing of device falling into the category of Internet of Things.
Wireless station with connection to IoT network
Kubíček, Richard ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Kolouch, Jaromír (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of WiFi station for connection sensors and drivers with Inetrnet of Things connection. The station uses WiFi module ESP8266. Description of component which the station consists is also part of the thesis. Description of created library for control module ESP8266 by microcontroller is also part of thesis. Finally, documents for production of this station are also part of the thesis.
