Application of magnesium alloys castings
Pernica, Vítězslav ; Liškutín, Petr (referee) ; Roučka, Jaromír (advisor)
Magnesium alloys are still idle in technical applications because of their properties. The history of metal is not very old, the first application of its alloy started on the beginning of the 20th century. Magnesium is very light. Its weight is about one third less than the weight of aluminum and it is the third most frequented structural metal. However its preparation and processing can be problematical because magnesium has high affinity to oxygen. It causes intensive burning. During the century of stature have been improved both production and alloys. The usage of magnesium alloys took more importance and it is the most used alloy in automotive field sofar. Recently its demand expands mainly in electrotechnics. Next usage we can find in aeronautics, energetics, military and many other branches.
Vyhodnocení koloběhu hořčíku ve smíšeném porostu v oblasti Drahanské vrchoviny
Hartl, Vít
Magnesium is one of the major biogenic elements for both - plants and animals. It is involved in many metabolic processes concerning plants, and most importantly magnesium is associated with photosynthesis. This bachelor thesis evaluates the flows and stocks of magnesium on the level of the forest cover and of the soil in the Drahanská vrchovina Upland (location: 49 ° 28'2 .976 "N, 16 ° 41'18 .181" E) in a mixed forest cover (beech, spruce, silver, fir) on the modal oligotropic Cambisol of the silver/beech forest vegetation zone at the age of 130 years at an altitude of 610-620 m above the sea level. In the forest cover, there is accumulated 23 655 kg.Mg.ha-1 in the overlying humus and soil. The precipitations in open area make 0.93 kg.Mg.ha-1.year-1. The soil receives annually 2.55 kg.Mg.ha-1 by throughfall precipitations. The input of magnesium by the seepage waters under A0 horizon (forest floor) is calculated in the amount of 2.37 kg.Mg.ha-1. The obtained results are extending the knowledge of the flow and the occurrence of magnesium in the soil in mixed forest covers.
Různé formy dusíku a hořčíku ve výživě máku setého
Mička, Miloš
Target of this thesis was to evaluate the effects of various forms of nitrogen and magnesium on yield and entire economy of poppy growing using the semipilot plant experiment. Field trial was established on the plots belonging to Ing. Lipovská in the Hartmanice cadastre in 2010,2011 and 2012. The amount of nitrogen was set down to 100kg/ha. Its application was done using these variants: unfertilizied control, ammonium nitrate with dolomitic lime, calcium nitrate, Urea, Ammonium sulfate, Alzon 46, Urea stabil, DASAMAG and MAGNISUL. Alzon 46 and Urea stabil were applied just once before seeding, while amount of ammonium saltpetre with lime, Urea, DASAMAG and MAGNISUL were divided into two applications. One half was applied before seeding and the other at the phase of earth bound leaf rosette (BBCH 21-27). Calcium nitrate and Ammonium sulfate were applied in three dosages. First two were just same as the previous forms and the third dosage at the stage of stemming and bud flowering (BBCH41 - 49) We assesed the yield of poppy seeds and poppy heads and stems among various forms of fertilizers and within the different years. The results of a three-year experiment show positive effects of divided doses of nitrogen on seed yield of opium poppy. Fertilizers containing magnesium and sulfur also positively affected seed yield. Fertilizers with inhibitors applied once before sowing did not show any positive effect, again confirming the suitability of divided doses of nitrogen and supplemental nutritition with the other macronutrients, in our case, magnesium and sulfur. The experimental results confirm that achieving a maximum yield is not only a matter of one nutrient.
Kořenová a mimokořenová aplikace hořčíku ve výživě révy vinné
Zatloukalová, Andrea
The objective of the present dissertation thesis was to compare the effect of soil fertilisation and foliar application with various mineral magnesium fertilisers (ESTA Kieserit - 25 % MgO, 20 % S; Epso Combitop - 13 % MgO, 13.6 % S, 4 % Mn and 1 % Zn; Epso Top -16 % MgO and 13 % S) on a number of parameters of two vine varieties (Müller Thurgau and Ryzlink vlašský) during a three-year period (2010-2011-2012). The experiments were conducted at the school farm in Žabčice (maize-growing region; ca 25 km south of Brno) and comprised the following 7 treatments: 1) unfertilised control; 2) autumn application of ESTA Kieserit; 3) autumn application of ESTA Kieserit + 5x foliar application with Epso Combitop; 4) spring application of ESTA Kieserit; 5) spring application of ESTA Kieserit + 5x foliar application with Epso Combitop; 6) 5x foliar application with Epso Combitop; 7) 5x foliar application with Epso Top. Soil and foliar applications of magnesium fertilisers had a positive effect particularly on grape yields; most of the parameters were significantly influenced by the year and variety.
Disorders of mineral metabolism in cattle
KADLECOVÁ, Lenka
My Bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The goal of the theoretical part is to elaborate the bibliography dealing with significant production diseases of cattle with emphasis on the disorders of the metabolism of mineral substances especially of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. The bibliography contains a description of the symptoms, therapies and the prevention of particular diseases. The practical part of my Bachelor thesis includes two areas of findings. The first part focuses on the intake of the minerals substances in question contained in food and mineral supplements in dairy cows on the farm Horní Staňkov. The second part follows the contents of mineral substances and alkaline phosphatase in the blood plasma and urine of dairy cows. Based on the examination of blood plasma and urine an overview of the level of saturation with macroelements in dairy cows was made.
