International agreements, Czech constitutional law and labour code ensure an equal treatment in a job, equal chances and the right to have satisfactory work conditions. Furthermore it is stipulated that handicapped persons can claim a higher level of health protection when working, special work conditions, special protection in work relations and assistance in career preparation in order to prevent discrimination. A sub-goal was to ascertain employers{\crq} comments on the benefits which are provided by the Labour Office in České Budějovice. The supposed hypothesis to the main goal reads: ``The higher the amount of benefits, the smaller the number of handicapped job seekers recorded with the Labour Office. And thus benefits are considered effective.{\crq}q The supposed hypothesis to the sub-goal is: ``Employers{\crq} comments are related to the insufficient amount of the benefits to support employment of handicapped people.{\crq}q In order to achieve the main goal in the research, the author applied analysis of documents, the quantitative technique, secondary analysis of data, making use of statistics from 2004 to the end of 2008 provided by the Labour Office in České Budějovice. New Labour Code {--} its positives and negatives
TENKLOVÁ, Ivana
The task of this thesis named {\clqq}New Labour Code {--} its positives and negatives`` is to compare the old Labour Code with the new one, to show the changes and updates and their impact to practice, to find the positives and negatives in its application. After long negotiations, the Labour Code began to be valid in January 2007 in a new form, but only by the {\clqq}technical novel`` and by the finding of the Constitutional court the main inadequacies were eliminated. The question remains if the Labour Code as an independent Code is necessary. It is usual in some countries that the labour-law tasks are treated in the Civil Code, but our legal regulations result from the Soviet concept of the legal system. Currently the framework of the new Civil Code is finished; one of the authors is Professor Karel Eliáš, who is just the protagonist of incorporation the labour law into the Civil Code. On the other hand, the labour law nowadays is so wide and specific, that its incorporation back into the civil law would have been extremely difficult.

Abstract Main topic of my thesis is the Payroll Accounting. The work summarizes most of the areas that are related to this topic and the knowledge necessary in calculating the final determination of wages. Beginning the thesis mentions specific chapters from the Labor code which explain the facts about the start, changes and the termination of the employment contract then more detailed description of the arrangements performed outside of the employment contract and then working hours and minimum wages. Next chapter handles the actual payroll matters and the main principles of providing and paying wages. Large part of this thesis is devoted to problems of public and health insurance and social security. This chapter explains the notions and concepts of those topics. The following chapter focuses on a tax of personal income and fringe benefits with basic concepts and principles that shall be followed in calculations of this tax. The last section is devoted to the calculation of wages itself, starting with general "formula" and followed by an example in which the calculation and determination of wage is shown.
