Machine grinding
Beseda, Vojtěch ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
At the beginning of this dissertation an overview of grinding technologies is presented. The following chapter presents a selection of grinding machines from databases and manufacturers’ catalogues. At the end, a case study of grinding processes in a small manufacturing company is analysed. It focused on the action of grinding an internal cylindrical area on thin wall housing. The solution is the adaptation of component´s attachment, the adjustment of the working cycle and the dimensional control according to drawings.

New methods for inner rotary surfaces finishing
Kazdera, Tomáš ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
Content of the text deals with the methods of finalizing the internal surfaces of revolution. The paper discussed the theory most widely used machining methods that are commonly used in engineering practice. For each methods, are given the tools achieved surface roughness and geometric tolerances. The instruments are assigned to the machine on which the finishing operations are undertaken.

Finishing methods of machining and their position in modern production
Buďa, Vojtěch ; Novák, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bumbálek, Bohumil (advisor)
Finishing operations represent important part of manufacturing technologies. They have expressive influence on functional product properties. Finishing operations are classified as operations with the defined tool geometry and as operations with non defined tool geometry. In earlier time, the finishing operations were realised mostly by the tool with non defined geometry. At this time, in which appear perfect tool materials take the value between finishing operations the operations using the tools with defined geometry like turning, milling. Still the finishing operations by the tool with non defined geometry are not forgotten and it takes a proper car of them. The progress direction of these technological operations is in the choice of grinding materials, in the choice of grinding wheels and also in proper finishing process first of all when finishing the brittle materials. In the report there is performed the analysis and evaluation of finishing methods and the main attention is focused on advanced grinding methods e.i. of ductile grinding. This access facilitates to achieve the surfaces with very high accuracy or to enables to omit some of final arrangement of the surface. Since there are solved the questions of cutting tools conditions selection and machine tools. It can be assumed that this method will be applied when finishing brittle materials as ceramics, optical glasses, silicon or germanium.

Roller-burnishing technology as finishing oparation.
Sekerka, Vít ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with chipless finishing operation of roller-burnishing. It explains and describes basic ideas concerning finishing and hardening of machine components by means of roller-burnishing, parting of tools, application in manufacturing and techno-economic usage. Own project, which deals with rollerburnishing of inside conic surface, is part of the thesis too.
