Author: Věra Fraňková Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Care of Patient with the Frozen Shoulder Syndrome This bachelor thesis focuses on the frozen shoulder syndrome. The thesis is devided into two main parts. The general part of the thesis deals with the theoretical knowledge to the diagnosis in terms of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics, as well as providing information about the shoulder examination. The thesis deals with the etiology, classification and therapy of the desease. Special section describes a detailed case report of a patient with a diagnosis of frozen shoulder syndrome. This section has been prepared on the basis of the work with the pacient during the special practise in the Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu in the period 21.1. -20. 2. 2013. Characteristics of Old-Age Drivers in Terms of Road Traffic Safety

The aim of this work is to evaluate current procedures and to refine assessment of impact connected to the drivers' age and traffic accidents. The theoretical part describes senior drivers, traffic accident rate of seniors and decreased ability to drive influenced by age. The practical part is case report of traffic accidents caused by senior drivers, measuring reaction time and the evaluation of these measurements. I have developed some proposals for seniors to prevent the risk of the occurrence of traffic accidents.

Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after arthroscopy stabilization of shoulder Summary: This bachelor's dissertation discusses a case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after shoulder arthroscopy because of labral tears in glenohumeral articulation. In the first, theoretical, part, anatomic structures, kinesiology shoulder joint are described. Furthermore, the most common problems in the shoulder girdle, the possibility of solving these dificulties and also discussed physiotherapy approaches for patients undergoing shoulder arthroscopy. In the second, special, part, a case report is described. It contains anamnesis, initial kinesiologic examination, course of the therapy, final kinesiologic examination and evaluation of the therapy. Title: Case study: Physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of polytopic vertebral algic syndrome The aim of this thesis was to make a research focused on the polytopic vertebral algic syndrome and the physiotherapy treatment of a patient with such diagnosis. In the theoretical part the topic was covered considering anatomy, biomechanics, kinesiology, clinical symptoms, methods of treatment and subsequent therapy, focusing mainly on physiotherapy treatment possibilities. The practical part was made in a case history form, compiled during the continuous medical practice at Rehabilitation Clinic of Královské Vinohrady University Hospital from 23 January till 17 February 2012. Lenka Satrapová Year of defense: 2012 Aim: The aim of this thesis is to summarize theoretical findings, application of the methodic of physiotherapy, process of the treatment and the observation its progression in patient after knee arthroscopy for meniscal lesions. Methods: The literature search and the case study of this issue were proceeded within the practical experience (from 9th January 2009 to 9th February 2009) in Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu in Prague (Centre of Motor Apparatus Treatment). The first part of the work is concerned with the theoretical knowledge of the knee joint (anatomy, biomechanics, medical imaging, traumatology and physiotherapeutic methods and examinations). The second part contains the case report which refers to the patient after knee arthroscopy for meniscal lesions, the treatment, the therapy and the pursuance of the curative effect. Results: The state of operated knee improved radically after the treatment, enhance of the muscle mass and its power is significant, augmentation of the knee joint range and normalization of the muscle tone is noticeable. Title of bachelor's thesis: The Case Study of a Patient after Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures Summary: The thesis consists of two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part presents a brief description of the anatomic structure, the function, the kinesiology and the biomechanics of the spine. Furthermore it deals with the issue of the osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures and the surgical and conservative treatment as well as the contemporary methods of the physiotherapy. The practical part is a case study. It includes an anamnesis of a patient, an entrance kinesiology analysis. The aims and the methods of the physiotherapy were set on the basis of this analysis results. The bachelor's thesis provides a description of the course of the individual therapeutic units, an output kinesiology analysis, and a therapy efficiency evaluation. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the case study of a 65 years old patient with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures. The therapy efficiency evaluation shows the improvement of the patient's health condition. The pain reduction of the patient might be considered as a significant achievement. Title: Case report of physiotherapy care for patient with Guillain-Barre syndrome. Objective: Summary of theoretical knowledge and the processing of case report of patient diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome. Abstract: This thesis consists of two parts. The general part contains a survey of the problems of Guillain-Barre syndrome as a clinical manifestation of a undergone Lyme borreliosis. The largest area is devoted to the pathogenesis, diagnosis and subsequent treatment of disease called Guillain-Barre syndrome. A special section is devoted to case report and determination of the patient's plan of physiotherapy. The main aim of therapy was verticalization of patient into standing position with a view to return to normal life as before the illness. Case report was worked out on the patient's neurological department of the Regional Hospital Kladno a. s. at the time of continuous bachelor practice 9. 1. - 1. 2. 2012. The general part of the thesis is about rheumatology diseases, exactly enteropatic arthritis. I described the patology, etiology and metods of their treatment. The special part of the thesis includes the case report of the patient with enteropatic arthritis with main problem in the right shoulder and its therapy and pursuance of the curative effects. Result: Enhance of the range of motion of the right shoulder and its power. Normalization of the muscle tone of right upper limb.
