Government simulation game
Dekánek, Matúš ; Zajíček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Zavoral, Filip (referee)
The aim of this work is to design and implement a model of state`s economy and to use it in a game. The virtual world contains centers of production, which can be full of various productions. These buy raw materials and sell their products earning a profit. The model is designed to be very flexible and allows broad setting possibilities. A player should be able to gain profit and major market share trough proper investments and adjusting parameters of his production capacities. There is also a simple computer opponent in the game, to compete with for the market share. The game has GUI, the model as such is independent on the user interface. The program was implemented using a multi-platform open-source library wxWidgets for c++, it can therefore run both on linux and Windows OS.

GEOReminder for N900
Aron, Lukáš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
This work deals with a design of an application for the mobile device Nokia N900, which enables the planning of a set of actions, which shall be carried out in a predefined region. The region or specific position is defined by the user based on the coordinates of the GPS system. Upon reaching of the target location a set of actions, which is defined when creating the notification, is carried out. The work describes the theory of the mobile device and the options of obtaining the position of such a device. A description of the implementation of the application follows, where the method and the graphical user interface are described. In the conclusion of the work, the achieved results and a proposal for continuation of the work are summarised.

Media content organization and solutions in JavaFX
Smíšek, Matěj ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Tran, Lam (referee)
The bachelor thesis looks into changes in television and movie audience behavior. Increas-ing amount of TV shows and movies in user media library brings new needs those files properly organize a record which one has been already watched by user. Software solution must abide audience custom and allow smooth transition from slowly degrading television audience to new, more interactive one. Current offer on market of media organization software is broad, but it is important to focus in detail on functions of those applications and verify if they truly meet all set requirements, or if they are robust application software, which can be not very user-friendly for common user. Custom solution in Java using brand new user interface library JavaFX 8, which goal is to bring basic framework of possibilities of solving media organization for future programmers.

Analysis of the information system of the a dental clinic and improvements design
Tůma, David ; Vencovský, Filip (advisor) ; Potančok, Martin (referee)
The thesis deals with information system analysis of a particular company from dentistry. The main goal of this thesis is to design changes of information system or business procceses which will make company's busines policies clearer and more effective. Process modeling is used to achieve the main goal considering user's feedback of current information system. Furthermore, the thesis uses requirements analysis with the help of selected methods, again with user's feedback. Subsequently, the work deals with comparison of gained requirements with current solution of information system. Last part is dedicated to proposal of specific changes. Main contribution of the thesis is detection of shortages of current information system. These proposals and identified shortages can be used by examined company and also by newly established companies in this industry or by producer of current information system.

Application for table tennis tournaments management
Růžičková, Lucie ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Švimberský, Jan (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse currant tools for table tennis tournament management. From this analysis determine the basic requirements and implement them into new application which will cover all the deficiencies of currant tools. This study also demonstrates how to create an application using Model-View-ViewModel pattern combined with rich user interface created in Windows Presentation Foundation. The first part of this thesis is focused on analysing the market with similar tools and theirs deficiencies. Additionaly, the requirements for the application are suggested in this part. The second part contains basic informations about methods and tools used for developing with code examples from newly developed application. Application architecture and data structure is also discused in this part. In the last part the user guid with print screens from the application is shown.

Folksonomies and possibilities of their usage with regard to needs of academic
Pavlásková, Eliška ; Schwarz, Josef (advisor) ; Kovaříková, Klára (referee)
The Thesis is focused on systems using folksonomy - the knowledge organization based on collective intelligence. The theoretical introduction to the problem includes the overview of the used terminology. Current folksonomic systems are reviewed and described. The Thesis is focused especially on social bookmarking systems, social cataloging systems and systems for social citations. Features of user interfaces are described and evaluated with the emphasis on indexing, record management and retrieval. In the last part, the advantages and disadvantages of folksonomies are considered, especially within the academic background.

Sound interface in application for the blind
Načeradský, Hynek ; Samec, Marek (advisor) ; Vacek, Martin (referee)
This work addresses use of sound interface in application for blind users. Correct application design is achieved by analysis of similar applications and by assesment of problematic areas in creation of applications for blind users. This work suggests rules for solving these problematic areas, which are underlined in practical part. Practical part of this work is mainly focused on design and creation of application, which offers alternative approach to file management. Application is based on speech synthesis and accessibility for blind users, which is achieved by use of open source libraries. The main benefit of this work is suggesting rules, which can serve in creating accessible applications and realization of application, which is based on those rules.
