Prevention of the knee joint soft-tissue injuries in Athletics
KRÁLOVÁ, Eva
This Bachelor Thesis deals with the problems of injury of knee joint soft tissue structure. Knee soft tissue injury belongs to the most frequent injuries in athletics. The anterior cruciate ligament is very often harmed. The injury occurrence may be prevented by means of suitably chosen physiotherapeutic procedures to prevent occurrence of pathokinesiological consequences in the knee joint area as well as the whole locomotor system. The first aim of my work was to monitor the problems related to soft knee injury in selected athletes. The second aim was to prepare and apply the therapy procedure itself upon the obtained findings and to find to what extent the therapy affected the examined athletes with knee injuries. The theoretical part of the Thesis summarises the basic knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, it deals with the most frequently injured knee soft structures, the most important check-up methods, the therapy possibilities and prevention of the injury. A qualitative research method was chosen for the research itself. The sample consisted of four randomly selected athletes. Two athletes were chosen from a group of short-distance runners and two athletes were chosen from a group specialized in long-distance running. Four individual therapeutic plans were compiled after an anamnestic interview and an entry kinesiology analysis. The plans were focused on an increase of the movement extent, increase of muscle strength, renewal of static and dynamic stability of the knee joint and removal of disturbed movement stereotypes. Positive results of examination in all the patients confirm correct selection of the therapy elements and the therapeutic plan. The extent of improvement in the monitored patients was influenced by the individuality of the patients and their approach. Positive results of the therapy may also be expected in the future and existence of preventive action, particularly in the secondary prevention level may be attached to. I recommend extension of the practical part by instrumentation examination by means of electromyography, posturography or digital baropodometry for extension of the work and making the data related to the issues in question more objective.

Accident prevention in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
SNOPKOVÁ, Zuzana
The topic of the bachelor thesis is fall prevention in patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. The topic would like to highlight fall prevention that is very important in patients with this disease. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease of connective tissues of the whole organism. The main manifestations of the disease are affected joints, muscles and ligaments. This leads to significantly reduced mobility of joints. However, it can gradually affect other organs of human body, such as heart, respiratory system etc. The quality of life of these patients depends on at what stage of the disease the patient is. The disease gradually limits the clients´ ability of self-care and increases their dependence on close family and friends. Morning stiffness often appears and swelling around the affected joints increase the risk of falling. The purpose of the treatment is to suppress pains, eliminate stiffness, increase muscle strength and improve function of the muscle. Fall prevention in clients with rheumatoid arthritis is an integral part of the treatment. A fall is an unpleasant experience for a client. It might belong to incidents that worsen and prolong the treatment. Thus, a fall might belong to situations that should be prevented. Due to everyday morning stiffness the clients are under permanent threat of a fall and that is why the treatment and prevention of a fall are very essential. Three objectives were chosen for the practical part of the thesis. The first objective was to find out what measures to prevent a fall the clients with rheumatoid arthritis use. The second objective was to map what preventive procedures are used by nurses in medical facilities to prevent a fall of clients with rheumatoid arthritis. The third objective was to find out what measures preventing a fall would be appreciated by the clients with rheumatoid arthritis. A qualitative method of research was applied. 5 clients with rheumatoid arthritis were one examined group. These respondents were chosen on the basis of pre-set criteria- these were: rheumatoid arthritis, stage of the disease III. and IV. and past history of hospitalization. 5 nurses taking care of clients with rheumatoid arthritis in a medical facility were the other examined group. The method of questioning, the technique of a non-standardized interview was applied. The thesis revealed what kind of aids would be clients appreciated to prevent falling. On the basis of the collected data a draft was designed how to prevent falling in a medical facility for clients with rheumatoid arthritis and for nurses who take care of them. Then a set of ten preventive measures was created for clients with rheumatoid arthritis to prevent falling. These aids might be used in hospitals as a recommendation for nurses how to behave to prevent the clients with rheumatoid arthritis from falling and the nurses should provide clients with complex information how to prevent falling.

This methodology will be demonstrated on the selection of exercises using photodocumentation. Method: Evaluation or evaluation of the effectiveness of the ongoing rehabilitation program in rehabilitative care after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Results: The results demonstrated a positive contribution to the rehabilitation and subsequent sports preparation for active athletes and due to the relatively low number of probands included in proposed program of 150 patients after knee traumas, who in a given period attended rehabilitation, were excluded from the research 88 because of early termination treatment .. The research was after all conditions are met situated 62 atheletes růmých disciplines. For these probands showed the positive...

Prevention and Therapy of the knee injuries in Football
BENEŠOVÁ, Michaela
My Bachelor Thesis deals with the problem of knee-joint injuries. The chosen theme ``Prevention and Therapy of the knee injuries in Football{\crqq} introduces a large variety of possible injuries. The Thesis includes an analysis of the complicated anatomical structure and biomechanics of the knee. The part devoted to injuries describes the injury mechanism that gives the ground for the following examination, diagnosis determination and proposal of the subsequent therapy. Another important chapter, prevention of the knee injuries, describes the activities to prevent from such injuries. The aim of this Thesis is to assess the treatment effect of the anterior cruciate ligament rupture in two probands in relation to their return to sports activities, and furthermore to furnish theoretic information concerning primarily the anatomy and prevention of injuries. In respect of the quantitative research, we chose at random two footballers of a district league standard suffering from ligamentum cruciatum anterius rupture. The research proceeded during their therapy using the technique of uncontrolled dialogue, observation, casuistry and secondary analysis of data. The result brought the ascertainment of the success in the therapy effectiveness. After 3 months both patients, sportsmen, achieved such health condition which allowed them do light sports activities with no limitation, e.g. exercise biking, swimming, walking, running on flat surface and even cross-country; cycling is also suitable. It is very important to keep to the said recommended sports activities as the inadequate overloading of the knee can give rise to recurrence or even to injury of other structures of the knee joint.

Vaňková, Jana ; Otáhal, Stanislav (advisor) ; Dudová, Agnieszka (referee)
Title Biomechanics of whiplash injury and its influence on cervical spine structures Objectives: Objective of the work is charting of studies examining mechanism and course whiplash event, its influence on osseous and arthral textures, intervertebral discus, ligaments, neural textures, cerebro-spinal fluid and vertebral artery. In summary form mention possibilities of prevention in terms ofconstruction car. Method: Diploma work is processed in the form of commented literary background research. Results: Confrontation of individua! works brought definite results, respecting kinematics cervical spine at rear impact. Most ofin vivo and in vitro studies confirmed clear two-phase answer. Immediately after stroke (50 - 110 msec) cervical spine is forming S-form deformation with flection UCS and extension LCS, whereas it is extension with abnormal JAR. Whole spine is loaded by compression at this time. The second period is C-form deformation with extension whole cervical spine. Risk of structures injury is the highest in S- stage. The most often it is localized in LCS, and it is in intervertebral joints including capsular ligaments, intervertebral discus and anterior longitudinale ligament. There are threatened also neural textures, both influence oftension force applied to UCS, and pressurized gradient...

Pešlová, Kateřina ; Jalovcová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Satrapová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Physical therapy procedures in patients following the operation of the anterior cruciate ligament Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine the influence of the chosen method of reconstruction and subsequent physiotherapy on the final status of the patient. And also if the group physiotherapy is the ideal therapeutic approach. Methods: In quantitative research the numerical analysis of the data was performed. Comparison of individual groups was performed simply through finding the frequency distribution of individual characters. Evaluated were the basic sets A (patients operated on by Bone - Tendon - Bone method, BTB) and B (patients operated on by hamstring graft method, STG). Both sets were assessed using the input and the output kinesiological analysis. The resulting values of the variables in each category (individual examinations in the input and output kinesiological analysis) were compared with each other. The statistical significance of observed differences was tested using the x2 (chi square) test at the significance level of p < 0.05. Results: It was determined that the selected surgical method (BTB and STG) has an effect on certain parameters evaluated in the input rated kinesiological analysis. These parameters in the majority of examinations performed at the...
