Tool life of ADMX inserts for milling of the S-grade materials
Tejkl, Jakub ; Kouřil, Miroslav (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis studies the machining of group S materials. In the theoretical part of this thesis these materials were divided into groups and subsequently analyzed. These materials were also analyzed in terms of their impaired machinability. In the practical part of this thesis experimental tests were conducted to determine tool life, tool wear and in the case of testing titanium alloy surface roughness too.
Progress in technology of mold milling with coated profile tools
Doležel, Ondřej ; Bumbálek, Bohumil (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is involved in possible development of different types of milling molds coated with modern plows. The first part is devoted to an analysis of contemporary trends in forms production technology. The analysis includes the different types of machines and tools for making various kinds of molds and dies. Another part deals with design of dies for sheet metal shears. The thesis continues by design of the production procedure after heat treatment and finishing die by miling. For milling of die are designed miling tools, the NC program and the possible development of manufacturing the die using a new machining center and the possibility of production optimization. The penultimate point of the thesis is technical and economical evaluation of the direction of development and comparison of positives and negatoves of each method. At the final evaluation is all summed up.
The Analysis of Carbide Cutting Inserts.
Pavelka, Rudolf ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This study states basic technological aspects of metal machining with cutting inserts, with special stress on coated carbide cutting inserts. Among others, it states wear-out theory incl. wear-out accompaniments, problems of chip-forming and other factors of metal machining. At the end of the study, it contents a description of the latest cutting materials and construction elements of cutting inserts from reputable producers and, for some of them, also the course and the results of practical tests and comparison.
Solution technology of production "Nátrubek"-part in condition firm ČKD.
Hampl, Petr ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Processing complete producting documentation for engaged part of „screw socket" for universal and CNC machines. Production components is designed basic shaping way (as turning, milling and drilling). Estimation is designed on conditions introduction to the production suitable for company ČKD Hradec Králové.
Optimalization of machining processes in production of CP4 flanges
Švaříček, Petr ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to review actual status of tooling process of flange CP4 made by aluminum alloy for high pressure pump of system Common Rail in certain conditions of Bosch Diesel, s.r.o. in Jihlava. Special attention is drawn to consideration of production requirements and quality level maintenance. The thesis aims to propose a new technology of tooling and to review its effectiveness.
Optimization of production steering shaft
Hlavinka, Martin ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the creation of the optimal divided chip in the turning technology. The material for production of the steering shaft is steel C35RC suitable for forming and turning from which semi-finished products are produced at horizontally forming presses. They are machined at the production robotized line where the problem with the undivided chip arises. For the specified set of cutting conditions the uses the cutting tools which aren’t very suitable for the given types of technological operations. The recommended values of cutting conditions are different from the specified set of cutting conditions. The result will be choice of new-cutting tools for turning technological operations to shape short divided chip.
Construction of miniature turning tools with insert
Balhar, David ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a set of miniature turning tools with insert. Elaboration is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter we can find research, which deals with the issue of the construction of turning tools. In the second chapter appears survey produced miniature types and their uses. The most important is the third chapter, because it deals with the main output, and the actual design of selected types of turning tools. The three of turning knives were selected, which are reviewed in the fourth chapter, both technically and economically.
Turning tools
Matějka, Petr ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is focused on tunning tools in term of classification, marking, materials, usage, modern trends of development, and production from prestigious producers in materials and constructional area.
Technology solution with cutting operation of "cover" component
Chlád, Luboš ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
In mentioned solution technology of cover part is processed component analysis, proposal of semi-finished product and production technology. In this thesis are selected concrete cutting machines, tools and technological process is elaborated. At the end the techno-economic evaluation is done. This evaluation deals with calculation of times for separate cutting operations, number of machines, tools and workers.
Analysis of the coated carbide cutting inserts
Zdráhala, Radim ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Fiala, Zdeněk (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the cutting and specific cutting forces during face milling of coated and uncoated exchangeable cutting inserts (VBD). The theoretical part deals with the characteristic of the milling process, coating of cemented carbides and last but not least deals with methods for measuring cutting forces. The experiment is described in the experimental part that also includes evaluation of load forces coated and uncoated exchangeable cutting inserts during changes in cutting conditions. Finally is performed the comparison of values coated and uncoated VBD for flank wears and load cells.
