Basic chemical characteristics of cranberry juice

This bachelor thesis is about lingonberries and cranberries. It is mainly about berries which were used for chemical analysis. The berries are from the Research and Breeding Institute of Pomology Holovousy Ltd. and they have delivered six cultivars of lingonberries and three cultivars of cranberries. There is a research of general information about classification, botanical description, important chemical substances such as vitamins, natural colorants and products made in the industry. Furthermore there is descriprion of chemical methods for basic analysis. The next part of bachelor thesis is about how all these methods were applied to berry juice. What instruments and chemicals were used. First assessment was profit of juice which was about 50,00–60,00 %, but lingonberry Runo bilawskie has at least 31,49 % and cranberries have less profit too. Total solids were determined in the range of 11,40 % (Pilgrim) to 18,50 % (Runo bielawskie) and solitable solids are in range of 10,00 % (Pilgrim) to 16,08 % (Korál). Lingonberry contains more reducing sugars (8,81–12,92 %) than cranberry (7,90–9,03 %). Titratable acids are about 32,04–49,60 mmol.l-1 for lingonberry and about 55,40–60,67 mmol.l-1 for cranberry. The measurements show that pH of both berries are about 3. The most phenolic substances are found in range of 2187,11–3476,75 mg.l-1. Berries content anthocyans colorants in range of 54,91-65,29 mg.l-1 and the most in cranberry. All results are shown in charts and in the end there is a discussion and conclusion about methods and results.
Increasing the Yield of BGA Repair Process

This thesis deals with possibilities of increasing the yield of BGA repair process. First there is mentioned basic problematics and its notions, problems and possibilities. Next it deals with technological aspects of repairing of devices in BGA covers. Also there is mentioned basic problematics of evaluating of yield. There is stated current state of solving the problem and also there is suggested new design of application which would be more optimal for evaluation of the yield of process. Economic aspects use of energy of photovoltaic plant

The major topic of this master‘s thesis is to create a complex model of general photovoltaic power plant (PVP). First chapters are engaged in research of photovoltaic. Growth of globally installed power and analysis of situation in Czech Republic are described in this section. The spectrum of conditions is introduced, from current legislative framework up to local Sun radiation. The actual technologies and their advantages are depicted, especially rate of utilization of energy. Expected trends of future development of conversion efficiency are mentioned, with prediction of production costs of photovoltaic. In context with those aspects, the question of grid parity achievement arises. The own assembled model of photovoltaic power plant has been created in Microsoft Excel. The mathematical apparatus is described in a separate chapter, individually solving technical part, which main result – the amount of yearly generated electricity, is applied for economical calculation. Final results are the usual economic indicators, mainly: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE). There is series of aspects defined by user in the model which may impact the amount of produced electricity and economics of user’s project, such as use of loan, replacement of converters, operational costs etc. These aspects are frequently neglected by project sellers. In the end, intended photovoltaic power plants of 2.75 kWp and 28.98 kWp are simulated by the model in real conditions of 2013. Sensitivity of impact of both proposals to the aspects mentioned above has been analyzed. In the conclusion the achieved results are summarized and the key factors which determine the PVP’s economic efficiency are assessed.
The influence of origin in intensively bred European perch (\kur{Perca fluviatilis}) on mass yield, chemical composition and organoleptic properties of its meat

A breeding of seven European perch (Perca fluviatilis) groups of various origin was carried out under experimental conditions at 20°C temperature since the hatching of larval fish up till the age of 278 days, with intensive feeding using BioMar Inicio plus 0,55mm fodder with 15% fat content and BioMar Inicio plus 0,1mm fodder with 18% of fat content in later initial feeding. The average final weight of fish in the individual groups ranged between 79,4g and 27,63g. Mass yield statement (mass fraction of skinless filets, on the total mass), basic chemical analysis of filets (dry matter, crude protein, lipids and ash content) and organoleptic evaluation of musculature quality were carried out in the final stage of the growth test. No influence of the fish origin on the mass yield was detected. The average values ranged between 35,41% and 32,21%, but an influence of origin on crude protein content was discovered. The lowest values were determined in the population from the north of Germany 77,5% and the highest values on the contrary were determined in the population from the Štrbské Pleso lake 80,35%. The lowest lipids content was determined again in the population from the north of Germany 7,14%, while the highest fat content was detected in the population from Slovakia 8,66%. The results of organoleptic analysis didn't show substantial differences. Overall it can be stated that the monitoring didn't prove any substantial influences of fish origin on the parameters observed, which is confirmed by results of similar observations carried out by other authors e.g. with trout and carp.
Possibilities of cultivation of cup-plant Silphium perfoliatum L. for biogas production

The aim of the methodology is to provide farmers, agricultural advisors, providers of biogas stations and anyone interested in growing and processing of agricultural biomass as a renewable source of raw materials and energy the basic information about a prospective non-traditional crop – cup-plant Silphium perfoliatum L. Up to now, a comprehensive methodology for cultivation this crop in conditions of the Czech Republic is not processed. The publication provides basic botanical characteristics of the crop, specifies its soil and ecological habitat requirements, describes the agricultural technologies for seeding, cultivation, fertilization, plant protection, harvesting and post-harvest treatment and gives an overview of potential productivity and main utilization possibilities, especially for biogas.

Energy using of biomasy from agriculture

This thesis deals with comparing the suitability of growing grass for energy use over the energy use of the residual agricultural biomass. The thesis includes characterization, agrotechnics, cultivation, harvesting and yield of each crop species and their comparison is shown in several graphic examples. According to the information gathered, maize and sorghum are the most suitable for the production of biogas, especially due to the amount of ?green mass? produced. The most useful for burning is Miscanthus, which is distinguished for its high dry mass yield, immunity to weeds, and the highest heating value and energy yield.
Growing of over - growth tree species

The comparison of agronomical practices and land capability of selected deciduous with coniferous wood species, especially fast growing tree species on agricultural land, is the theme of this bachelor work. This work deals with the cultivation of fast growing tree species, the comparison of their growth figures and agricultural techniques. Fast growing tree species were cultivated in these localities: Svatý Jan nad Malší (Chlum nad Malší), Všemyslice- Neznašov and Lesy města Český Krumlov s.r.o. The research was focused on the comparison of yields of deciduous (poplar) with coniferous trees (spruce, larch), agricultural techniques. There is the comparison of yields with yields from the available literature, in conclusion.
Factors influencing yield at smoked mackerel production

The aim of this study is to determine the factors affecting the yield in the production of smoked mackerel and contribute to the process of good technology practices in the processing of mackerel. The paper captured the key moments of technological progress in the processing of fish products to the market sphere and the results of their own monitoring. Were compared to yield in dry and wet thawing, using a saline solution in different ways hunging and cooling.
Intensive Alpine Charr (Salvelinus umbla) Rearing and Feeding up to Marketable Size

U sivena arktického bylo provedeno testování různých krmiv při odchovu plůdku, půlroční násady a ryb o stáří 1+ do tržní hmotnosti. Součástí experimentu u plůdku byl orientační rozbor celkového tuku v krmivech a těle ryb. Pozitivní vliv krmiva na produkční charakteristiky byl prokázán pouze při odkrmu plůdku, kdy bylo u krmiva DAN-EX 1362 dosaženo signifikantně lepších produkčních výsledků oproti krmivu Milkivit (p{<}0,05). U dalších věkových skupin sivena arktického nebyl mezi testovanými krmivy (DAN-EX 2844, DAN-EX 2446) prokázán žádný signifikantní rozdíl vlivu na produkční charakteristiky. Na konci odkrmu tržních jedinců bylo provedeno zhodnocení jatečné výtěžnosti, odpadu, podílu viscerálního tuku a gonadosomatického indexu (GSI) v závislosti na pohlaví, kde bylo u jikernaček dosaženo průkazně lepších výsledků (p{<}0,05). Součástí posouzení stolní hodnoty tohoto druhu ryby byla senzorická analýza filetů. Na základě výsledků senzorického posouzení byly prokázány horší organoleptické vlastnosti mlíčáků v chuti a konzistenci svaloviny (p{<}0,05).
