The Bachelor thesis is aimed at evaluating the financial situation of AIRCRAFT INDUSTRIES, a. s. in 2018, 2019 and 2020. The first part of the Bachelor thesis focuses on theory, where individual methods of financial analysis such as indicators etc. are discussed. The next part presents a brief characterization of the selected enterprise. In the practical part, financial indicators are then applied to the selected company. On the basis of an assessment of the facts, recommendations will be proposed in the last section to improve the financial situation of the firm.

This bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation of financial position of a company. The thesis is divided into three essential parts. In the first theoretical part financial analysis is described with all its implements and methods. The second practical part contains general information about the company Alpine Pro, a. s. and all the applied calculations. All financial indicators from the first part are used to get an overview about the financial situation in the company. And finally in the last part of the thesis as a result of all calculations I focus on my own suggestions and improvements in the company. Such as efficient claims recovery, stock management or expansion of marketing communication.

Analysis of costs, revenues and profit in a capital company

The profit and loss statement is one of the main parts of the financial statements. The building blocks of this statement are costs and revenues, thanks to which the accounting unit determines whether it will be in profit or loss for the given accounting period. However, the tax liability is also important for accounting entities, which is determined in the calculation of the net economic result. On the basis of the financial statements, it is possible to carry out analyzes for companies, thanks to which the companies can continue to manage themselves and reach a profit or a higher economic result in the next accounting periods. Vertical analysis is used for the bachelor's thesis, which compares values in different periods. Subsequently, the values of the indicators from the financial analysis were compared, the results were evaluated and at the same time cost saving measures were proposed.

The bachelor’s thesis focused on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company ZOOT a.s. in the years 2013 to 2017. The first part of the thesis is focusing on the theoretical part where information source and individual indicators are described. The next part consists of brief characteristics of the company. In the practical part, the indicators are evaluated and used for financial analysis calculations. The last part present proposals for improving the financial situation of the company.

The aim of the Diploma thesis on the topic „Evaluation of the financial situation of a selected international company and proposals for its improvement“ is the elaboration and evaluation of the financial situation of Aircraft Industries, a.s., a leading Czech manufacturer of commercial aircraft, for the period 2014 to 2018. This thesis is divided into three main parts. In the first part is processed the theoretical background needed to perform a financial analysis. The second part contains general information about the analyzed company and the actual processing of the financial analysis. Based on the results, the last part of this thesis proposes measures and recommendation to improve the financial situation of the company.
