International commercial arbitration

The purpose of my thesis is to analyse one of the most used type of extrajudicial procedures, the International commercial arbitration. The reason for my research is the progress and elevation of use of the arbitration and not only on international field. The thesis is composed of six chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of Arbitration. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis. The chapter is subdivided into two parts. Part One describes international arbitration and domestic arbitration and explains differences between them. Part Two deals with the question of arbitrability in Czech Republic and in different countries. Chapter Two is subdivided into five parts and provides an outline of permanent court of arbitration. Part One illustrates the approach to Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic. Part Two looks at Court attached to International Chamber of Commerce in Paris. Part Three describes International court attached to Vienna International Arbitration Centre. Law Aspects of Corruption of Police and Courts in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on the law aspects of corruption of police and courts in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part describes historical development of corruption and how its perception has changed during the development of our society, definition of corruption and crimes which it comes from. Next part presents structure and function of governmental anti-corruption organisations - police, courts and prosecution and non-governmental organisations represented by Anti-Corruption Endowment Fund, which operates in Czech Republic since 2011. To the international anti-corruption organisations belong European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), European Partners against Corruption (EPAC) and Group of States against Corruption (GRECO). Practical part consists of analysis of data gathered from Corruption Perception Index and analysis of decisions from the Highest Court of the Czech Republic. Data from the Index show us development of corruption in the Czech Republic and other states in past 20 years, which helps us to create a good overview about the corruption situation in these states. The second half of this part analyses the corruption crime decisions of the Highest Court, especially the amount of rejected or accepted extraordinary appeals and in how many cases figure policemen and judges as the accused ones. Conclusion summarises the whole thesis and gathered knowledge.
Violence begets more violence or a justifiable defense in familypartnership

This thesis is focused on the topic of justifiable defence and domestic violence. There is a comprehensive overview about justifiable defence in the first section. It is one of the circumstances to exclude illegality which is defined in § 29 in the Criminal Code. There are specified conditions when attack is treated as justifiable defence. If the statutory conditions are exceeded it is the excess. The second part of this thesis is dedicated to serious problem domestic violence. There are forms and features of domestic violence defined. Also consequences of domestic violence are mentioned. The third section describes the legal option to help victims of domestic violence. We create manual with some advices and recommendations. We trust that it will be a benefit for victims. There is a list with contacts to organizations which help to affected persons. Practical part of our thesis is case study. We deal with a concrete example of domestic violence in detail. At the end of this case is death of thug and imprisonment of bully women.
Courts of Justice as a Clean Public Good

This thesis defines courts as pure public goods. It deals with the inclusion of the courts of the state powers, deals with the courts in terms of performance of the state administration. It draws attention to the problem of the system of courts, which doesn't correspond in terms of the territoral aspect with distribution of land in the Czech Republic and also connects on this research transport service courts. Then examines the issue of provision of services and satisfaction of the courts of such services.
