Foundation Design of the Athletics Stadium in Pilsner
Drs, Jakub ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
The task of thisbachelor dissertation is to describe the concept of safe and economic foundation of the athletic stadium in Plzeň, the Czech Republic. The concept and assessment are developer on the basis of obtained geotechnical conditions and the load of the construction. The calculations are based upon valid forms and the concept approaches. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on technology and working proces of large diameter bored piles.
Design of foundation of library building
Habanec, Kamil ; Novotný,, Petr (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the static solution foundation structure of the Moravian-Silesian Scientific Library in Ostrava. The goal is to process the design for the commissioned construction of the library building in detail, numerically and graphically, on the foundation supporting structure of the underground floors. Subsequently, their static solution, dimensioning and assessment for limit states. The solved elements are the foundation slab in the second underground floor, the bearing capacity of the piles and the foundation block of the core A. The static analysis was performed in a combination of the student versions of SCIA Engineer 22.0 and the Midas program. The work also includes drawing documentation for the above-mentioned elements. The calculation was carried out according to applicable standards and principles.
Design of the uderground part of the building
Šimek, Ondřej ; Hrubý, Tomáš (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis deals with the design and assessment of reinforced concrete monolithic supporting structure of underground garages under apartment building at ultimate limit state and also at serviceability limit state, according to ČSN EN 1992-1-1: Design of concrete structures. Specifically, the design of the ceiling slab, girders, the selected column, the selected part of the wall and foundation under columns. Other parts of the building are not solved in the project. The text part contains general information on the desing of the structure, static idealization of the structure, type of load and method for calculation of inner forces. Attachments contain structural analysis, which completes the text part and solves in detail selected elements of the structure and the drawing documentation.
Founding of buildings from the scratch - Founding in Kojetín region
Vanko, Peter ; Glisníková,, Věra (referee) ; Brdečková, Helena (advisor)
In the first part of bachelor work there is an area of Kojetín classified both geomorphologically and geologically. Next part is dedicated to the project and to the qualifying of the single footing in several locations with different spread conditions. The designed single footing are checked for bearing capacity and for settlement as well.
Load bearing RC structure of office building
Ferencz, Balázs ; Zlámal, Martin (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The Master’s thesis is focused on the analysis and design of selected members of load-bearing structure of an administration building according to the ultimate limit states (ULS) and seviceability limit states (SLS). The calculation and the analysis was supported by design software SCIA ENGINEER 2012. Structural analysis deals with the design of the reinforced concrete (RC) flat slab above the 4rd strorey which is particularly supported by RC columns and particularly lies on RC walls. Furthermore, the Master’s thesis contains analysis of some selected columns of last three storeys, column of lowest storey, construction of stairway between 4rd and 5th storeys. The work beside this deals with the calculation and design of foundation of the object. The rest parts of the load-bearing structure are not solved in the Master’s thesis.
Static analysis of sports hall
Jedlička, Michal ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis is about the static analysis of sports hall in Libina. I have used a program RFEM for making the model. The model was elaborated according to the provided project documentation and valid regulations ČSN EN. The aim of this work is to analyze the real construction and to point out to the formation of possible problems.
Foundations in Volume Unstable Soils
Legut, Dana ; Weiglová, Kamila (referee) ; Hauser,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zdražil, Karel (referee) ; Vašina,, Josef (referee) ; Paseka, Antonín (advisor)
This dissertation is concerned with the foundations in volume unstable soils and objects disorders which are related to this. The thesis was focused on the study of clay and loess soils which are abundant in the geological profile of the Czech Republic. First, the formation of the two groups of soils is introduced, then their properties are examined and finally the influence of vegetation on the former type and the influence of collapsibility in the latter type are investigated. The conclusion is, in fact, a recommendation on the design of structures so that the system of clay / structure is not damaged and that structures are not subject to renovations. Several instance of problems with structures are discussed which were subject to structural repairs employing both a civil and geotechnical engineers.
Foundation of traffic embankments on clayey landfills of SHR
Mužík, Vlastimil ; Boháč, Jan (advisor) ; Kudrna, Zdeněk (referee)
Title Foundation of traffic embankments on clayey landfills of SHR Abstract This Bachelor thesis was worked out for Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague led by Ing. J. Boháč. The thesis deals with motorway embankment over the landfill A. Zápotocký, which is part of motorway strech D8-0807/I. The thesis compiles research results, monitoring of trial embankments and monitoring performed by the own construction motorway embakment. Based on these data is determined the creep portion of the total settlement.
Structure of multi-storey building
Achillesová, Jana ; Klodner, Jan (referee) ; Perla, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the project of the structure of ferroconcrete multi-storey building. Selected parts for assessment are point-supported slab over the 1st floor, inside column, external and internal wall in the 1st floor. Finite Element Method in software Dlubal RFEM 5.23 was selected for the analysis. Another part of the thesis is the project of dimensions of foundations that are dealt with as deep foundations in accordance with engineering-geological survey.
Prediction of foundation settlement of high-rise building using the finite element method
Červenka, Jan ; Dobrovolský, Ján (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is to deal with reverse engineering of high-rise building settlements. This is modeled via the finite element method performed in the Plaxis 3D program. In the first part of this thesis, a calibration of input parameters of an appropriate material model – Hardening soil – is conducted. This calibration is a result of oedometric test data which were obtained within a geotechnical survey. An influence of soils over consolidation affecting calibration and the material model choice is described. Final values of reference stiffness parameters are used in a mathematical model of the focused area. This model is created for one half of the high-rise building plan, including vestibule. The high-rise building is founded in a foundation pit. The foundations of this building consist of raft foundation and piles of jet grouting. In the model, there are also changes in pore pressure during an excavation of foundation pit included. The functional model is used for parametric analyses, namely examining cases of object´s foundations and the possible influence of foundation pit´s symmetry on the object´s settlement. All the calculated processes in the object´s settlements are then compared to data obtained from geotechnical monitoring of the structure.
