Actual trends in manufacture of permanent patterns

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create an overview of different methods for making permanent models. According to the type of materials the models are divided into the wooden, the metallic, the plastic and the models made from the resin. Further, certain methods Rapid prototyping are described here. This technology is being developed for several decades, but the application of the method of lost wax model is completely normal. Task of the thesis is to develop a literature search possibilities of mapping technology in Rapid Prototyping technology foundry investment casting wax model.
Production and aplication of 3D FDM deltabot printer

The thesis describes design and aplication of 3D FDM printer type of delta. The first part describes methods of rapid prototyping. The second part describes 3D printers type of delta. The third part deals with construction and calibration of delta printer. In the fourth part are made suitable modifications to the design of the printer, to improve the quality of printing, which is then applied on a sample product. The final section is devoted to technical and economic evaluation.
Using of RP techniques and lost wax technology for medical castings

The goal of the diploma thesis is to verify the possibilities of obtaining the casting of the femur component of the customized knee replacement using the technology of Rapid Prototyping and investment casting. To get the wax pattern it is used the method of fabrication the silicon rubber mould. Its optimalization from the wax pattern quality, economy of production and cooling speed aspects is important parameter at repeated production of the wax patterns.
RP technology using FDM method and investment casting technology

Determining accuracy of wax patterns is an important in wide implementing rapid prototyping methods in investment casting. This experiment is comparing wax pattern accuracy produced in classical metal die and silicone mould. It has been found out, that wax patterns produced by the silicone mould are ounly about one or two accuracy steps worse then wax patterns produced by classical metal die.
Implementation of a function sample by the 3D printing technology

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the technological possibilities of existing 3D printers, which fall under the general concept of rapid prototyping. Furthermore, the work contains an analysis of the materials used based on plastics and an alternative to 3D printing from metal powders. The main goal of the work is the production of two functional samples and the design of their components for the experiment from three different materials. Specifically, it is about making a holder for a smart mobile phone of normal dimensions in an alternative for a car and in a version for office use. The parts were printed using FDM (Fusion Deposition Modeling) technology, using the three most available and common materials (so-called filaments) that this method uses, namely PLA, ABS and PET-G. As a result of the work, there are also proposals for functional testing methodologies with a focus on product life and technical-economic evaluation, thanks to which it is possible to determine which of the materials is most suitable for 3D printing of the mentioned samples.

The diploma thesis deals with methods of production of parts by 3D printer and about terms such as additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping. The thesis is divided into three basic parts. The first deals with the areas of application and use of individual methods of 3D printing. The second part deals with the DMLS method in detail. The last part deals with the production of the selected part us-ing the 3D printing method.
