All my beginning identities

1 ABSTRACT In which situations have I found myself as an aspiring and later as a beginning teacher? How do I experience my affiliation with this profession today? What roles shape me as an educator? How do they influence my views on education? How do they impact my professional identity? The beginning of a professional career is a transitory and transformative period, crucial for further development, and builds upon various past experiences that date back to childhood. The theoretical part of this study navigates between social science, pedagogical, and artistic discourse. It draws on contemporary art that offers an approach to questions of identity and subjectivity, exemplified by works from authors such as Margit Titlová, Rineke Dijkstra, Marlene Dumas, Cindy Sherman, among others. The research section maps, through the analysis of autobiographical records, various situations and roles I encountered at the beginning of my career, as well as during the period leading up to this career. The autobiographical research oscillates between an artistic approach and an approach based on qualitative research, emphasizing the tension between the internal and external dimensions of identity. The role of social worker in a care home

The bachelor's thesis deals with the role of a social worker in a children's home. In the theoretical part, the types of institutional facilities are distinguished according to Act 109/2002 Coll. Act on the provision of institutional education or protective education in school facilities and on preventive educational care in school facilities. They also describe the competences, activities, personal and professional prerequisites of a social worker in a children's home. The most comprehensive chapter is the very roles that the social worker in DD falls into. The practical part contains a comparison of professional literature with the practice of working social workers in seven children's homes from western Bohemia.
Benefits of volunteering from the perspective of teenagers in a membership organisation: a qualitative study

This thesis explores teenage volunteering and examines the benefits of volunteering and factors affecting teenage volunteering. The thesis aims to explore the topic of formal teenage volunteering, focusing primarily on the perceived benefits of volunteering, the lived experience of volunteering and the factors that influence volunteering. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a insight into the topic of youth volunteering, discusses the specification of a teeanger and a member of Generation Z, and reviews motivations the motivations for volunteering and the personal and social benefits of youth volunteering. The empirical part of the thesis consists of focus group analysis, in-depth semi-structured interviews with teenage volunteers of the Hnutí Brontosaurus and documents of the membership organisation. By exploring this phenomenon and conducting my own research, I would like to contribute to the promotion of long-term volunteering and a positive lifestyle as a teen volunteer.
Obstetric operations and the role of a midwife

This work deals with operations performed in connection with pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes individual surgical interventions, their indications and the role of midwifes in them. It also opens up the topic of awareness of women and midwifes in these areas, which is followed by a research section that focuses on students of this field and their awareness and readiness to perform their role and education. The research part, in the form of a questionnaire survey, was aimed at midwifery students from five universities in the Czech Republic. It was focused on the competence of midwives to instrument caesarean sections. The research group consisted of a total of 80 female respondents. All students were female and were studying second or third year midwifery.
Grandparents' role and support in the process of coping with the grandchildren's disability

The topic of the diploma thesis is grandparents' role and support in the process of coping with the grandchildren's disability. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the definition of a person with disability in society, defining the norm and normality, basic terminology and the concepts of defect and defectiveness, impairment, disability and handicap, and a child, a pupil, and a student with special educational needs. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the rights of persons with disabilities, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and the National Plan for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities 2021-2025. It is also dedicated to the family and its functions, the family of a child with disability, the stages of coping with the birth of a child with disability, grandparents and their role, and grandparents of a child with disability. It also focuses on the possibilities of supporting families and individuals with disabilities, where it focuses on non-governmental non-profit organizations, social services, where it defines early intervention and social activation services for families with children, and School Guidance and Counselling Facility. The aim of the practical part of the diploma thesis is to find out how grandparents cope with the birth of a child (grandchild) with disability, how they are involved in the care and support of the primary family and whether there is an adequate support available to them from the professionals in the Czech Republic. Mixed research was chosen to fulfil the stated objective. Two types of semi-structured interviews were used for data collection in the qualitative research. One was for parents of children with disabilities and the other was for grandparents of children (grandchildren) with disabilities. A questionnaire designed for professionals working in social services in the Czech Republic was used to collect data in the quantitative research.
B2B selling - evolution of the role of the sales representatives

The aim of the thesis is to identify the specifics and development of the role of the sales representative in the selected company and to propose measures in the context of the market situation. The basis of the role of the sales representative does not change, but the market and its requirements do. The thesis summarizes sales concepts and their use, the opinions of experts on the discussed topic and explains the basic concepts in sales in B2B markets and its specifics. The research is based on the opinions of experts in sales in the electrical installation market from the company Schneider Electric CZ, s.r.o., which are obtained through a questionnaire survey. The obtained data are subsequently interpreted and statistically verified using chi-square and t-test methods, which led to the acceptance of all the stated hypotheses at the level of statistical significance of 0.05. The results of the research are discussed, where emphasis is placed on the comparison of the research results and the claims of experts in the field, or authors from the review of the issue addressed. The discussion concludes with suggestions for action, which take the form of communication strategy development, regular customer contact, technology integration, employee training and regular market research.
Forms of volunteer roles and their reference groups

The thesis is about volunteering in connection with reference groups of volunteers. It describes and analyses the volunteering of eight volunteers involved in the selected association. The first part of the thesis is theoretical, it defines basic terms, theories and concepts important for the research. The second, empirical part of the thesis, presents the methodology and deals with the conducted qualitative research through in-depth interviews with formal volunteers. The thesis aims to describe and understand how volunteers create their volunteer roles and to which reference groups they relate. The form of volunteer roles in this organization is influenced especially by the regularity and intensity of volunteer's activities. During the analysis, two main forms of the volunteer role were profiled from the researched data. Volunteers from one group consider their activity as help and they relate to the organization's clients. Volunteers from the second group relate to other volunteers and the activity is mainly fun for them.
The need for safety and security for nurses in The leading position

The topic of the bachelor thesis deals with the need for safety and security in nurses in leadership positions. Nurses in leadership positions are responsible for the quality of nursing care, ensuring staffing and equipment in this context. Security and safety needs must be guaranteed to perform the function. The theoretical part defines the needs and focuses on the middle line of nursing managers. Three objectives have been set: 1. To find out how nurses working in leadership positions perceive the safety and security needs in these days. 2. To identify factors which affect the saturation of safety and security needs of nurses in leadership positions. 3. To point out the possibility of improving the saturation of safety and security needs of nurses working in a leading position. Answers to research questions were obtained by qualitative design, questioning method, in-depth interview technique have been obtained for fulfillment goals. The research sample was managers, head nurses in a selected medical facility in the South Bohemian Region. The research investigation revealed the need for safety and security of nurses in leadership positions, gaps in the areas of communication, motivation, evaluation, cover of qualified staff, safe working environment and the absence of managerial supervision. The same deficiency factors affect the saturation of these needs. It's necessary to improve mutual trust for the saturation of safety and security needs improvement. The results of the research of the bachelor's thesis will be presented at the meeting of head nurses with the subsequent possibility of designing a specific seminar for nurses working in a leading position.
