Lečbych, Karel ; Juřica, Pavel (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the production process in a selected company and proposes measures to ensure the smooth operation of the chosen process. The theoretical part presents principles and methods that are used to analyze the current state of processes and subsequent optimization. The analytical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the current state of the production process and the waste that occurs. The practical part is focused on proposing the optimization of machine inspection and readiness to prevent waste of machine downtime due to human factors.
Customer tools ordering process concept
Jedličková, Jana ; Karásková, Marcela (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The master ‘s thesis focuses on the description and analysis of the ordering customer tools process in the company Mubea. The theoretical part is focused on processes, their improvement, description, and analysis. The practical part specifies the steps of the process and its shortcomings. The output is a process improvement proposal and evaluation of the benefits of the proposed changes.
Supply proposal of a company
Chudoba, Filip ; Pavelka,, Vladimír (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with possible adjustments in the company's inventory replenishment strategy, which are in accordance with the analyzed factors of the external and internal environment of the company and which respond to the problems arising in the input logistics processes in which this strategy is implemented. The proposed strategy adjustments bring a new perspective on inventory management through inventory optimization and categorization according to differentiated inventory management approach, even in relation to inventories that are subject to deterioration.
Design and modeling of the order in the company
Kalášková, Lenka ; Bumberová, Veronika (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the mapping of processes in a selected company using effective methods of qualitative research in data acquisition and subsequent modeling of the complex order process with the help of word description, visualization by eEPC diagram and RASCI matrix.
Process management in the Sales department ČZ a.s.
URBÁNEK, Milan
The main object of this master's thesis is to introduce process management and then apply it on a real company. The aim of the theoretical part was to define terms used in process management and describe it from different perspectives. An outline of the history of process management has offered insights into the personalities and the companies that have played a part in how the process management has arisen, and therefore how it looks today. Business process improvement and implementing business management have been the subjects of further theoretical subchapters. These methodologies included reengineering, Kaizen, TOC, Lean, Six Sigma. Process mapping is described in the end of the theoretical part. The theoretical knowledge was then applied in the practical part of this thesis. Firstly the company ČZ a.s. was introduced. However the domain of this thesis have become a mapping and describing of business processes in the company mainly in the Sales Department of the Tools Division. The conclusion is how to change the process of Order management in the Sales Department and how it will affect the Tools Division.
Mapping of ICT processes towards global standards as a basis for process optimization
Nekula, Petr ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Bruckner, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis deals with an interesting issue of mapping the ICT processes toward global standards in order to create a basis for process optimization. The author aims to research this subject in its complex range from both theoretical and practical points of view. Theoretical background of the final thesis initiates with a thorough research of all available resources on the topic of the process mapping and description of selected global standards for ICT process management together with their process models. Subsequently the most crucial supporting disciplines used for process mapping are also described. In the following section, the author provides a full description of process mapping proposal, the phases of which correspond with a PDCA lifecycle, all the above mentioned facilitating to enable a long-term continual process improvement. The whole process is being described in details, taking a closer look at each individual activity. Special consideration is taken to the procedure of selection of standards and goals for mapping and reflecting business environment. Practical part of author's thesis covers actual mapping in a selected company as to provide confirmation and verification of the proposed procedure. The field mapping in the company is performed using COBIT 5 and ISO/IEC 20000 standards. The mapping results are then evaluated and reached outcomes are displayed by using the prepared templates. Author's conclusion covers a range of gained knowledge from the implementation of mapping. Finally a set of proposals for using the mapping results in practice is provided. The thesis provides a comprehensive guide to the implementation of mapping of ICT processes towards global standards as a basis for process optimization. A significant benefit is the verification of theoretical procedure in a real business environment and its overall focus on practical applicability. The document may be used by both ICT professionals for their own mapping projects or by the members of academia for further research in the given field.
Analysis and optimization of logistic processes in manufacturing company
Čamková, Karolina ; Pavlíček, Antonín (advisor) ; Martínez, Felipe (referee)
This thesis is focused on topic of mapping and optimization of processes with particular focus on logistic processes. The work consists of three interconnected parts. The first part contains definitions of important concepts and approaches in three separate areas. The areas are organization processes, logistic processes and Lean management. The second part revolves around suitable methodology, it contains used methods and tools suitable for mapping and analysis of various process as well as principles and tools recommended for optimization of logistic processes. The last part of thesis maps key processes of internal logistics inside of manufacturing factory and analyses logistic system used in organization. The thesis also proposes various recommendations how to make analysed processes better. Analysis and optimization of processes is in the end enriched by recommendations, which should lead to better organization logistics system in the future.
Implementation of Lean Six Sigma in Catering
Marek, Petr ; Martínez, Felipe (advisor) ; Mejdrech, Vlastimil (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to suggest recommendation to optimize and increase efficiency in a process of catering ordering in a company Express Deli by using methods of lean six sigma. The work is built as real project od lean six sigma using some methods of the methodology lean six sigma. In the theoretical part of the thesis, methods of lean six sigma used in the practical part, are described. These methods are mainly methods of process mapping. Each chapter is a step of DMAIC methodology. Core part of the thesis is process mapping at a customer side, so in the other part there are all recommendations directly focused on customers requirements. The results of the work are suggested proposals for process improvement. Some of them were implemented during the project.
Optimizing Processes in the Assembly Shop
Bernát, Michal ; Kadlček, Ludvík (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis and optimizing processes in the assembly shop in the company Alcaplast s.r.o. The theoretical part describes the methods of process analysis, modeling of processes and methods of their optimization. In the analytical part of the business processes are mapped on the example of the company and model contracts are defined by the bottleneck process. Based on detailed analysis of the outputs are designed to address bottlenecks and process evaluation.
Statistical Process Control
Hudečková, Eva ; Fiala, Alois (referee) ; Koška, Petr (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with the problem of statistical process control. The theoretical part describes the basic quality tools and new quality tools, as a tool for collecting, recording, classifying, and analyzing data. The knowledge gained from the theoretical part are used to describe processes in the company Heat Transfer Systems s.r.o., analyze sticking points, control plans updating and to statistical process control in the organization.
