The Turkish Get-Up in terms of developmental kinesiology
Růžička, Tomáš ; Stupková, Michaela (advisor) ; Nováková, Tereza (referee)
Title: The Turkish Get-Up with a kettlebell from the point of view of developmental kinesiology Objectives: In the last couple of years the TGU has again entered the consciousness of the sporting public not just in the Czech Republic. Despite this there do not exist many studies that evaluate the effects of this exercise. It is a complex exercise, similar to the development line, during which one ascends from a lying down on the ground to a stan- ding position while holding a weight. This is why I chose tests for DSS. Postural muscle function develops vigorously during the first year of life. This is why the tests chosen are ones that evaluate the quality of the manner of connection and evaluate the function of the muscle during stabilization. The objective of this thesis is to confirm or overturn the statement that the TGU (Turkish Get-Up) positively affects the deep stabilizing system (DSS). The evaluation of data acquired will therefore provide the conclusion, whether the exercising of the TGU has a positive effect on the DSS. Methods: 8 people (4 women and 4 men) between the ages of 22-32 years participated in the stu- dy. They participated in a 6 week programme, exercising the TGU twice a week, 10 repetitions per exercise unit. Women used a kettlebell of 4 kg weight, men used a kettle- bell of...
Assessment of postural stabilization in a group of preschool children
Klauberová, Zuzana ; Dvořáková, Hana (advisor) ; Přibyl, Ivan (referee)
The thesis is looking into an assessment of a postural stabilization in a group of preschool children using an unused test in children testing "Kneeling with Support on Palms", which was used by its creators Voráčková and Šafářová in a group of adult sportsmen, and for comparison is used Matthias test, which is usually used in children testing. The thesis is focused on optimal body positions in the ontogenetic progress in the preschool age, the right body postural, dangers of origin of pathologies in postural stabilization, pathologies in body postural and the usually used diagnostic in the assessment of body postural. Results are showing a possibility of the using the test "Kneeling with Support on Palms" in preschool groups and at the same time showing chosen pathologies in the body postural of three and six years old children. The success in the thesis is a fact, that correlation with Matthias test shows for validity of the test "Kneeling with Support on Palms" and it brings information, that the test "Kneeling with Support on Palms" can be used in preschool age groups after confirmation of its reliability and objectivity. Key words: postural stabilization, body positions, preschool children, deflection in body postural

Brožková, Martina ; Rašev, Eugen (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Title: Effect of training on the slackline on postural stabilization Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine whether training on the slackline affects postural stabilization of sample of sport aktive population. The aim was to detect changes in postural stabilization immediately after the first training (30 minutes) on the slackline and after long-term training on the slackline. Another aim was to determine to what extent influenced measurement on Posturomed itself postural stabilization (with help of control probands, who did not train on the slackline between measurements). Methods: The study was attended by two groups of probands with a total amount of n= 16, who are healthy, active sports, sample population in the age od 21-26 (8 men, 8 women equally represented in groups). Probands of training group attended during one month eight sessions on the standard slackline- 2.5 cm wide, 11 m long, stretched at a height of 80 cm. Probands of control group didn't train on the slackline, only underwent measurements of the same intervals. Everyone participated in the 3 measurements (always 3 attempts) at the beggining of the research, immediately after completing the first training session (control group after 1 hour), and after completion of the research (control group after 1 month), always...

Čajka, Vladimír ; Rašev, Eugen (advisor) ; Véle, František (referee)
Title: Comparison of postural stabilization of athletes and trail runners with postural somatoosilography. Objectives: The main aim of this study is comparison of postural stability of athletes (track runners) and trail runners. We want to determine, if run in the field can affect positive postural stabilization. Methods: In our thesis we used a method of analysis and a method of comparison. Analysis is performed with postural somatooscilography (PSOG). This method contains postural provocation test on Posturomed. Oscilation of this platform is shooted in program Microswing 5.0. Then these dates are evaluated in program Posturomed Commander. We compared these dates with statistical methods and box plots in program Statistica 10 and Microsoft Excel 2007. Results: We found out when we compared 17 trail runners and 11 track runners that trail runners reached better postural stability. Trail runners had better postural stability in the first measurement and also had better results in comparison of three measurements. Track runners achieved the best results in the third measurement and trail runners had the best results of postural stabilization in the second measurement. Keywords: postural stabilization, biomechanics of running, Posturomed, postural somatooscilography

Title: The Effect of Postural Therapy Using Posturomed on Jump in Basketball. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to assess what effect the state of postural stabilization has on the jump height in basketball, to capture the level of postural stabilization before and after the 6-week proprioceptive postural therapy on Posturomed and to find out whether the jump height in probands changes after this therapy. Methods: The thesis included 30 probands - basketball players. 15 probands were assigned to the experimental group and 15 other probands were assigned to the control group. All probands underwent both the initial and the final jump height measurement. Each proband had 3 attempts, out of which the highest performance was recorded. The probands of the experimental group participated in a 6-week postural therapy. The therapy was carried out according to the concept of postural therapy on Posturomed by dr. Rašev. The data was evaluated in program Microsoft Office Excel. For the calculation of the unpaired t-test, statistical program SPSS was used. Results: Measurements confirmed the positive effect of the therapy on Posturomed on the jump height. The experimental group achieved a statistically significant difference in the jump height against the control group. Keywords: Vertical jump, basketball,...

Sahánková, Ivana ; Rašev, Eugen (advisor) ; Satrapová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Ankle joint hypermobility in relation to the postural stability evaluated by the postural somatooscillography method Objectives: The aim of this dissertation is to assess the influence of the local joint hypermobility on the postural stabilization measured by postural somatooscilography. It also compares the postural stabilization ability in case of local ankle joint hypermobility to the constitutional hypermobility on the lower limb including acre. Methods: This thesis has been composed by means of descriptive-associative method using the quantitative research comparing two groups of twelve subjects. The research part was evaluated under standard conditions using the monopedal postural provocation test "3 steps - standing on one leg" which was measured on the instable platform "Posturomed". The test results were logged in application Microswing 6. The recorded data was exported and evaluated by "Posturomed Commander" software. Results: The research has not proved a significant statistical difference between the group with local ankle joint hypermobility and constitutional hypermobility. However, the group with local ankle joint hypermobility was found to have slightly worse results, primarily in the ability of long-term stabilization. Keywords: postural stability, Posturomed, ankle joint,...
