Conditions for implementation of alternative fuel technologies in passenger cars on the Czech market

The thesis topic is creating conditions for successful implementation of alternative fuel technologies in passenger cars on the Czech market. Its goal is to develop a comprehensive concept of proposed measures that would create demand for alternative powertrain. It analyzes current situation of the environmental-friendly vehicles market and examines reasons why consumers have not been purposefully searching for these cars so far. The thesis consists of several coherent blocks. The first one deals with general aspects of innovations and development, energy resources, climate protection and car fleet in the Czech Republic. The second part focuses on new alternative technologies from the viewpoint of energy resources and examines the offer on the local market. The third section includes a consumer research focused on information related to potential customers' preferences and compares economic efficiency and costs of selected technologies. The final part presents proposed ways of accomplishing the main goal, while special attention is given to specific recommendations, which would help to create demand and facilitate promotion among consumers.

Cars extended warranty

This thesis focuses on the topic of cars extended warranty on the Czech market. The first part is focused on defining the extended warranty, an analysis of the pros and cons for consumers, but also on common assumptions for all types of insurance extended warranty. The second part examines the automakers providing extended warranty and its terms. The third part analyzes the insurance companies offering an extended warranty on the Czech market, and describes their products. At the end there is a more detailed summary of approaches for each provider describing today and possible future developments in this field.

Influence of the estoppage of right to deduction of VAT related to personal cars

The purpose of this work is to describe an amendment of the Act of the value added tax (VAT) from 2009, that cancelled an estoppage of right to deduction of VAT concerning personal motor cars. In first two chapters I summarize goals and expectations resulting from the amendment, then I compare the situation in the Czech republic with other states of the European Union and last but not least is my consideration of the legislative process of approving the amendment, to be accurate the part referring to an estoppage of right to deduction of VAT related to automobiles. The aim of this work is to discover whether the purchasebility of cars increased due to the mentioned change of law. I analyse the evolution of saleability of vehicles under 3.5 tonnes before and after the force of the changed law of VAT. Based on the results of the analysis, it is possible to review, that the expected effect of an increase in demand for motor cars has not appeared after the cancellation of an estoppage of right to deduction of VAT.

Financing of passenger cars

The main goal of this diploma thesis paper is the comparison of different forms of financing the purchase of passenger cars. The first part describes four main ways of financing used most frequently - financial and operating leases, credit/loans and cash financing from company's own cash resources. One part of the paper deals with tax and legislative changes influencing financing of passenger cars and their development in the past years. The final part of the paper compares financial leasing and credit products by two methods: the net advantage of leasing and the method of discounted costs.

V diplomové práci na téma: Srovnávání produktů hodnotovým přístupem se autorka pokusila o výpočet ukazatele hodnoty pro zákazníka u šesti osobních automobilů třídy "malé vozy". V další části provedla analýzy a komentáře k výsledným hodnotám ukazatelů. V diplomové práci byly použity teorie hodnotového managementu a řada statistických metod.

Analysis of consumer behaviour on the private cars' market

Práce se ve své teoretické části kromě jiného zabývá metodologií marketingového výzkumu, charakteristikou trhu s osobními automobily v České republice a nastiňuje její ekonomickou situaci. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu spotřebního chování na trhu s osobními automobily v ČR na základě získaných dat v dotazníkovém šetření. V závěru shrnuje výsledky svého výzkumu a vyvozuje z nich obecnější tendence platné pro český trh s osobními automobily.

Práce se věnuje sledování vztahu mezi místem vzniku a místem odhalení neshod na montážních linkách. Práce popisuje nové pojmy autokvalita, princip autokvality a popisuje základní nástroje pro sledování, zajištění a vyhodnocení autokvality. Praktická část práce popisuje proces zavádění matic autokvality na montážní lince kompresorů do HVAC jednotek osobních automobilů.
