The project elaborated design of technology production of the extract from the stainless deep drawing sheet 0,3 mm steel 17 240. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the sheering and deep drawing was designed sheering and drawing with blank holder in combined tool. The tool is solved like customary rack with guiding rods clamped on the hydraulic press for forming of sheet PO 100 with nominal forming force 1 000 kN. Shearing die, drawing die and drawing punch are produced from tool steel 19 436.9 heat-worked according to drawing documentation.
Laser cutting with air pressure assistance
Kramoliš, Lukáš ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
This project, elaborated within the engineering studies (code of field of study: N2301), deal with air supported laser cutting and its practical usage in industry. The project is divided into theoretical and experimental sections, consisting of detailed description of several successive steps of the experiment. The theoretical section describes the principle and function of laser, individual types of lasers and their classification, laser beam properties, laser cutting, etc. The practical part is focused on finding of a set of optimal cutting parameters, assessment of results of air supported laser cutting in terms of quality and accuracy of cutting surface. This part is followed by comparison of cutting surfaces with a conventional technology of laser cutting that uses oxygen and nitrogen. Final part of the project evaluates applicability of this unconventional technology from the economic point of view.
Analysis of Tube Bulging Process
Zdráhala, Radim ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the behavior of the thin-walled tubular test specimen during the technological test of the liquid draining of the tubes. The test specimen ‘in the form a tube was made of austenitic stainless steel 17 240 (1.4301, X5CrNi18-10). During the experiment, the radial expanding tool was quasi-statically charged by the internal fluid pressure. In the introductory part, the thesis focuses on the stress-strain description of the method of tube bulging and possible ways of detecting the strain of material during forming. The experimental part is primarily focused on the analysis of the test sample that was obtained from the experiment. Theoretical approaches were used to analyze the real test sample to detect strain and stress in material, numerical simulation of the bulge process and 3D ATOS scanning device, which helped clarify behavior tube during bulging process. At the end of the thesis is proposed possible design of the tool. This modification should contribute in the future to the full functionality of the radial expanding tool, or the bulging of the tube by liquid.
Production of wash basin drain grid
Běhounek, Martin ; Staněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with a draft on manufacturing a sink grill. It is a rotary component that is made of corrosion-resistant steel 17 240. Considering the material, the shape of the component and the size of the production lot of 100 000 pieces a year, the suggestion for manufacturing this component is a technique of a deep drawing with no wall thinning. It has been decided that the trimming will be done with a progressive blanking die and the deep drawing will be done with the use of pressing machine LKDA 315. One part of this thesis is a draft of a design of a tool for deep drawing enclosed in a drawing documentation. In the economic segment, there is a total of expenses for one product which is 9 CZK. Production becomes profitable after manufacturing 67 308 components.
Proposal of production technology of trough
Rérych, Pavel ; Staněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
Elaborated thesis presents a proposal of technology for the production of modular. The modular is manufactured by ACO Industries k.s. from stainless steel 17 240 with thickness 1.5 mm. Literary studie is focused on Bending as the most favorable technology with respect to tender documentation. Based on technological calculations and available machinery TruBend 5130 press with nominal force 1 300kN was selected for part manufacturing process. Forming tools are made of Cr - Mo tool steal. The thesis also includes technical and economic evaluations.
Pressing punches on austenitic stainless sheet
Rudolf, Bronislav ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
Thesis resolvs proposal punches in the sheet metal for heat transfer solar panels. Shapes of punches are selected – piramidal shape and lengwise shape. It is reviewed their possible production and the selected method of Guérin is described. Sheet metal from austenitic stainless 17 240 is selected for the manufacturing. Forming tool is designed with interchangeable punches and elastic medium for various modifications and comparing shapes of punches. It is used hydraulic press CZR 600 for a experimental production.
Production of shower tray
Černý, Vít ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of technology production of the shower tray made of austenitic steel 17 240. Based on the research of deep drawing and calculations, it was proposed to draw in the tool with upper blankholder and the lower ejector. The drawing tools uses standard components that ensure its functionality and clamping in the CYA 500 hydraulic press with nominal tensile force of 5000 kN. Drawing punch and die are made of 19 437.3 grade steel, heat treated according to the attached drawing documentation.
Production of filter cup
Míka, Tomáš ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This work is concerned with the design of producing a filter cup made of material 17 240 (1.4301), 0,5 mm thick and the series 100 000 pcs/year, used in the lever of the espresso machine. The method of conventional deep drawing without wall thinning was chosen as the most suitable technology for the production of body cup. Utilizing calculations, an initial semi-product of circular shape with a diameter of 92 mm was determined. By means of technological and constructional calculations a single operation tool was designed, with the upper blank holder and knockout, which is intended for use with a double-acting press. Its functional parts are made of material 19 436. According to the calculated total force a double acting hydraulic press CTH 250 was chosen.
Production of ceiling light
Kvasnička, Jan ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The manufactured component is the inner part of the ceiling lamp. It is made of 17 240 steel in a series of 100 000 pieces/year. A combination of tool cutting and deep drawing without thinning the wall was chosen from the possible production technologies. The diameter of the blank from which the resulting shape is pulled out was calculated to be 400 mm. It will be cut from an unwound coil of sheet metal, the inner diameter of which is 400 mm and the outer 1000 mm. A drawing tool was designed for forming and it's functional parts were made of 19 436 steel. The tool is placed in hydraulic three-acting press PO 160/100 from company Dieffenbacher. The press is part of a line which includes an unwinding device, a straightening device and a cutting tool.
Production of the distributor by non-convential forming technology
Blažek, Matěj ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Jopek, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the evaluation of the possibility of manufacturing a distributor body used for distribution of heat-bearing medium in underfloor heating. For the part, due to the series of 100 000 pieces·year-1, the technology of high-pressure hydrofroming without active action of axial presses is chosen. The original solution with a forming pressure of 58,5 MPa did not lead to success and an optimization was necessary, where the pressure was increased to 158,5 MPa, which also did not lead to success. This was followed by a further optimization consisting of hot forming at 700 °C and a pressure of 158,5 MPa, again with no successful solution. The last possible treatment option of changing the material to 11 321 steel and pressure 134,2 MPa was not successful and the high pressure hydrofroming method with passive action of axial dies is not recommended for industrial practice. The final step was an economic evaluation, where the price per piece was determined to be 133,3 CZK with a 20% margin. Considering that the product is suitable the profit will start to be generated after the production of 140 460 pieces.
