The issue of evaluating the production of pollutants in the exhaust gases of passenger cars
Jančář, Radek ; Bazala, Jiří (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This thesis analyses evaluation of homologation measurment of pollutant production of passenger car in the European union. The measurement methodologies used are described chronologically, including the standarts that describe them. Along with the improvements and disadvantages that the new requirements have brought, it also deals with the impact on new cars and the trends that have affected emisson requirements in the field of car development. The main part of the work deals with the measurement of real driving emissions RDE and describes the issue of this breakthrough methodology.
Technicko ekonomické hodnocení vybrané traktorové soupravy na zpracování půdy v podmínkách AGRO Záblatí
Hadraba, Tomáš
This master´s thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is a theoretical part and deals with the current situation in the tractor´s construction, particularly motor systems for reducing the emission of harmful substances in exhaust gases, tractor transmissions and electro-hydraulic system. In the second practical part the measuring of economic parameters of the tractor rigs during plowing was conducted and processed. The measured parameters were fuel consumption, engine speed, tillage depth, width, time and total time for rotation. Theme assured parameters which calculated the operational and efficient fuel consumption and the performance kit. These values were processed in graphical and tabular form. They were detected by measuring the parameters of the efficiency and diesel consumption during operation for the tractor rigs John Deere 8220 equipped with a rotary plow KVERNELAND PN 100 with seven tines. The measurement was in the economic engine speed (1600 to 1800 rpm) and (1800 to 2100 rpm) considering a full dose of fuel.
The impact of HVAC systems on the acoustic microclimate of clean rooms
Jelínek, Ondřej ; Mathauserová, Zuzana (referee) ; Papež,, Karel (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The work description is to create a system of measures to prevent the spread and the consequent attenuation of sound in air handling systems serving the cleanrooms. The thesis presents a solution to noise attenuation in the investigated area, and in HVAC duct, which uses a commercially available material in the form of sound insulation hoses. In the systém solution is part of the work focuses on the optimal design of terminal elements to distribute air in a clean room. Processing methods utilize theoretical and experimental approach. The experiment comprises a unique analysis of the sound insulation properties of selected products under specific conditions. The data obtained are analyzed and incorporated into the framework of this work created program module for determining the attenuation and noise propagation in an enclosed space. Math and physical dependence are programmed into their own DLL by programming language DELPHI.
Computer application for measuring parameters of network
Kolmačka, Tomáš ; Urban, František (referee) ; Grenar, David (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the basic theory of network architecture TCP/IP which is used in practice and sets out the key parameters for data services and multimedia services using these networks. The thesis mainly deals with the methodology of measuring individual parameters and analyzes various methods of measurement and the accuracy of these methods. In the practical part of the bachelor's thesis a client-server mode application called Network Meter was programmed. This application allows the measurement of selected parameters between client and server using transport protocols TCP and UDP. When using TCP, the application can measure delay, data upload speed and data download speed. When using the second transport protocol, namely UDP, the application can measure jitter and packet loss. With the measuring application Network Meter test measurements were performed in the prepared home network. In the same network measurements were made using jPerf to compare the created application with other applications. In the comparison measurement download speed was measured.

Firstly, the project itself and the platform used are presented. The theoretical part is devoted to methods of measuring flight performance. Finally, thesis contains used measurement methodology, processing and evaluating of data.
Long-term Unemployment . The Burden of the Czech Labour Market
Hněvkovský, Jan ; Mertlík, Pavel (advisor) ; Lešanovská, Jitka (referee)
This thesis focuses on the long-term unemployment in the Czech Republic. The first part is devoted to methodology of measuring the unemployment. In particular, it focuses on differences between rate of unemployment published by ČSÚ (Eurostat) and rate of registered unemployment which is published by MPSV. The content of the second part is demography of the Czech Republic, especially features which are relevant to structural restrictions on labor market. Hence, the educational and age structures of the Czech Republic are analysed. The third part is divided into two sections. The first section deals with the long-term unemployment at the aggregate level. At first, evolution on the labor market in the last two decades is outlined. Then the structural and cyclical unemployment are separated from the overall unemployment. At last, flexibility of the labor market is examined. The logic of the microeconomic section lies in analysing strategies of long-term unemployed. The thesis ends with the conclusion offering the summary of the gained results. 1
Low level measurement
Roubal, Zdeněk ; Lazar, Josef (referee) ; Sládek, Petr (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
The doctoral thesis presents methods for low-level measurements, which are exemplified by the general measurement of air ion concentration. Within the first section, the author progressively identifies certain critical effects influencing the concentration of air ions, and these effects are to be considered in evaluating the uncertainty of the measured concentrations. Thus, the thesis aims to provide a systematic description of the procedures and requirements related to low-level measurements; the proposed description then involves a discussion of the process reliability requirements, namely the factors of repeatability, elimination of errors, and definition and describability of measurement uncertainties. Such methodology facilitates, among other activities, the long-term monitoring of air ion concentration in extreme environments, including caves or spaces characterized by high temperatures and humidity. The use of common methods for determining the air ion mobility spectrum is accompanied by a number of disturbing effects, such as spurious fluctuation in the concentration of air ions in time. The experimental section of the thesis describes the testing of different configurations of the measuring device (a collecting electrode and a polarization capacitor); at this stage, we seek the most advantageous distribution of the electrostatic field in the sensor – a Gerdien tube. The systematic suppression of the influence of spurious fluctuations in air ion concentration during the measurement of saturation characteristics is carried out with the least-squares numerical method (as a supporting element), a hybrid technique to describe and evaluate the experimental model. In the second part of the thesis, the methodology of low-level measurement is complemented with procedures for the measurement of freezing potential. This latter domain, as an overall experimental approach applicable during phase changes of the sample, has hitherto not been sufficiently characterized from the metrological perspective, in an up-to-date manner; several subregions of the said domain remain somewhat obscured and deserve significantly more attention. In the given context, this thesis systematically considers a problem where comparable measurement results produced by multiple authors are not available. The measuring methodology proposed herein was utilized in applied research to facilitate the fabrication of an apparatus for the experimental measurement of freezing potential in pre-defined samples; the obtained results then lead us to conclusions with respect to the evaluation of effects that cause differences in the measured data, and the results can be further compared with those obtained by other researchers investigating the given segment of the problem.
