Knápková, Dagmar ; Baxant, Petr (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the reverse calculation of luminous curves for roads according to ČSN EN 13201. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part describes the basic requirements and procedures for calculating the luminous curves. The practical part describes the program, created in the Matlab environment, which is designed for the practical calculation of the ideal luminous curve, for each situation given by the user. Further particular example of the calculation is given.
The effect of operating position of the light source on the photometric parameters
Šťastný, Jakub ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
The theses discusses how operating position and ambient temperature affect electric light sources. For the purposes of this theses, the analysis of light radiation, the description and the principle of taking measurements of light quantities are included. The work also contains the principle of function, construction and parameters of light sources. For each light source a hypothesized impact of the operating position of the light source and the impact of ambient temperature variation on radiated luminous flux are stated. For selected light sources a measurement of the impact of the operating position on the sources’ photometric parameters was taken. The output measurement data are being compared to the theoretical hypotheses. The conclusion of the thesis describes suggested recommendations for the operation of light sources based on both theoretical and practical parts of the thesis.
Light Sources
Janík, Daniel ; Bejček, Ludvík (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to introduce the basic photometric quantities and measurement of these quantities. Next target is to get acquainted with the basic types of light sources, including various types, their construction and principle of their function. The work also deals with the measurement of electrical and photometric parameters of nine samples of concrete light sources. Measured sources in terms of energy and terms of quality of the light are compared with each other and with the data supplied by the producer.
Operating Characteristics of LED Sources
Brdečko, Aleš ; Diviš, Daniel (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This semester thesis is dealing with issues of LED (light emiting diod). In the text we can find general summary knowledges about LED, relating their history, construction, principle of working and also treatise about of semiconductor compounds. In thesis are given examples of use indicating their advantages and disadvantages and indicating their parameters. The practical content of this thesis is evaluation of measurement performed on some samples of LED especially graphics addiction of crosses and V-A characteristics measured in addiction on current.
Measuring of parameters dimmable LED sources
Kubeša, Radek ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the dimmable LED light sources. The theoretical part at the beginning is devoted to the light and the basic photometric quantities, analyzes the light sources and their parametres. It also describes the operating principle of LEDs, construction, power, and control the brightness of LED light sources. The practical part is focused on the measurement and evaluation of operating parameters selected samples of LED light sources.
Effect of Light Source Position on Operating Parameters
Múdry, Peter ; Krbal, Michal (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The main task of this bachelor’s thesis is to find out, how does the working position of light source influence the lighting parameters of light source and possibly other closely related variables as temperature of light source etc. Purpose of this work is to measure luminous flux of some selected light sources’, where significant influence on luminous flux caused by working position of source can be expected and to process measured results. This work processes: lighting parameters of light sources’, theoretical information about influence of temperature and position on operating parameters of light sources, optimal working conditions of light sources and deals with electrical discharge in lightings.
Dodávka světla do budov
Žák, Petr ; Habel, Jiří ; Panská, Zuzana
Current method of design and evaluation of interior lighting in buildings is pulverized to the solution of individual spaces. Separately is evaluated energy consumption for lighting in the building. In this situation is very difficult to optimize the lighting systems. The relationship between the needs for lighting and overall energy consumption for lighting is not obvious. Clearer connection can be found in the simplified view of the whole issue. The required lighting levels and thus energy consumption in buildings are affected by three basic aspects. The first aspect is the usage of the building, i.e. what types of visual tasks in a building are exercised. The basic parameter for quantitative evaluation of visual requirements in today's practice is the illuminance E (Ix). The second aspect is the size of the building, thus the dimensions of spaces in which the visual tasks are performed. In this case the basic parameter is the illuminated area A (m2). The last aspect is the time during which the visual tasks are performed, expressed by operating time T (h). In this view the issue of the interior lighting in buildings can be converted to the delivery of luminous flux Φ (lm) or quantity of light QV (lm.h / year). Such expression is conceptually close to requirements for the supply of other media to the buildings, such as heat, air, water etc. The above considerations set the desired amount of luminous flux, respectively quantity of light. The next step is to set lighting quality parameters such as a minimum proportion of daylight, uniformity, limitation of the glare, the colour properties of light. In the last step, the optimal technical solution is found by selecting the type of lighting systems, light sources and luminaires, which meets both quantitative and qualitative requirements of lighting. Such approaches allow the creation of ideas about lighting needs in the initial stages of project and convert them to specific technical solutions.
Numerical Modelling of the Light Source
Pavelka, Adam ; Koňas,, Petr (referee) ; Kadlec, Radim (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with photometry units used in light engineering. There are defined the methods of modelling the illumination systems, their advantages, disadvantages and possibilities of using. Furthermore, the thesis deals with modelling of two illumination systems by ray-tracing in programming environment of MATLAB. The master’s thesis describes the analysis of the problem and the program designing process. Acquired model results are then compared with the real measurements of both illumination systems which allow the discussion of the results and the deviations of the models.
Spectram power distribution of radiant flux depending on supply voltage
Novotný, Tomáš ; Baxant, Petr (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The master’s thesis consists of two parts. The first part describes base quantities of lighting engineering, basics of the electrical energy transformation to the light energy, laws of the thermal radiation and characteristics of incandescence and discharge light sources used for general illumination. This part concludes with a theoretical analysis of influence of power supply on the parameters of light source’s luminous flux. The second part of the thesis deals with the draft and configuration of a workplace for measuring spectral radiation of light sources depending on power supply. The last part of the thesis is created by the evaluation of spectral radiation and other light parameters changes according to the light source’s power supply changes.
