Use of laser machines for metal cutting technology
Novák, Petr ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with laser cutting technology and its use in industry. A large part of the work consists of theoretical research, dealing with the characteristics of individual types of laser machines and their use for industrial applications, especially for metal cutting. Furthermore, the work is focused on the theory of this technology and suitable materials. The work also deals with two companies, which represent typical use of a laser machine. In the experimental part of this thesis the manufacturing process of component is created based on a survey of the use of laser machines.
CNC Applications for Laser Cutting
Hruška, Daniel ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The following thesis deals with the theory of laser. In the first part, the thesis is focused on the issue of laser cutting (laser principle, cutting methods, laser division). Furthermore, the thesis is focused on basic theory of automation and NC/CNC control of machines. In the experimental part, the BUT logo was burned out with CO2 laser with the help of the company UnionOcel s. r. o.
Rationalization of small-lot production of slops in conditions of company PARS Nova a.s.
Jurka, Pavel ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
Analysis of the technological possibility ray methods of protoplasm, laser and water jet on the part of needs company Pars Nova a.s.. Propsal concrete of unconventional method. Process layout and exigencies of working designed method. Security and ecological diversification of designed method. Technical – economics evaluation contribution designed of unconventional technology.
Use of laser machines in small and medium companies
Šuga, Samuel ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis aims to critically evaluate the use of laser machines in the engineering industry, and with particular emphasis on small to medium-size companies focused on laser cutting. The usage of laser machines and their broad-spectrum application to various types of materials were evaluated. Using laser cutting technology, a component with optimal quality was successfully created. Thanks to this component, an experimental model was proposed, which describes how much of this product must be created for the company to stay on the market. The results suggest that using a fiber laser is the most suitable for small and medium-sized companies using laser cutting machines.
New trends of material cutting
Uttendorfská, Magdalena ; Špaček, Jindřich (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The thesis is focused on formation of a survey of modern methods of semi-product division in the area of forming technology. The first part of the thesis deals with material division conventional methods as cutting-off, clipping, refracting, cutting and sawing. These methods have already reached their utilization maximum. Their perfection is possible to be made e.g. by means of modern cutting materials. The next part is concentrated on material division special methods (oxygen cutting, laser, plasma and cutting by water jet) with presentation of their brief description. These methods have recorded the technology move ahead.
Manufacturing possibilities of motorcycle brake wheel
Rozum, Josef ; Dohnal, Ivo (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis presents a variant solution of mass production of motorcycle brake wheel. These are part of rotating component of large diameter and small thickness made up mainly of carbon steel. The thesis presents methods for the production of unconventional machining technologies and methods of molding. As appropriate variants were selected technologies of laser cutting, water jet cutting, plasma cutting, blanking and fineblanking. The individual methods are described and evaluated their suitability for production. For fineblanking method which seems to be optimal is indicated the production process.
Analisys of the material for laser cutting
Tonkovič, Miroslav ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with laser cutting of metal sheets from selected steel producers. The basics of laser technologies, especially in industrial use, are described in the introductory part. There the material requirements are described from the point of view of laser cutting. The comparison of materials from different steel producers is made from different angles in the practical part. The conclusion is dedicated to the evaluation of achieved results.
Unconventional Technology of Laser Cutting
Indra, Jaroslav ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the technology of laser cutting. The beginning is concerned with a general description of laser technology and laser division into basic groups. Next part refers to possible industrial use of laser beam, especially for cutting. Other chapters deal with the components suitable for the manufacture of this technology, technical preparation of production and the proposal to increase manufacturing flexibility when changing products. The last part is devoted to technical and economic evaluation.
A laser beam in engineering
Šustr, Michal ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the use of laser beam in the conditions of contemporary engineering, especially in cutting. Emphasis is put on the current technological possibilities of laser in industry, which are described in more detail. Cutting, welding, marking, surface cleaning and hardening, 3D metal printing and surfacing, all using laser beam, is mentioned in the bachelor thesis. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to the productivity of work with the capacity of the laser together with the balance of operating and maintenance costs.
Meshes
Pec, Jiří ; Moješčík, David (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the artistic processing of the 3D mesh topology. The object is based on a self-portrait 3D scan and its polygon mesh topology. The realization is made in a steel polygon mesh of the developed body surface, in a way that the individual polygons are loosely connected so that the mesh is flexible as well as human hide.
