Assessment of channel capacity of Vraženský potok in river section km 2.0 to km 4.0
Hrabovský, Michal ; Golík,, Pavel (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals the assessment of capacity Vraženského stream in the urban of village Vražné. Solved section is located in river section km 2,0 to km 4,0. This is a natural meandering watercourse. Capacity of channel of existing state is assessed in the thesis. Program HEC-RAS 4.1.0 performed the calculation capacity of the stream. Results were evaluated after calculation. Flood protection was designed after assessment results.
The design of the multipurpose small water reservoir
Pitka, Roman ; Dobešová, Renata (referee) ; Doležal, Petr (advisor)
Master´s thesis aims to design multipurpose reservoirs in the river basin Žlebovský potok in cadastre Vysoké Popovice. The main purpose of the reservoir will be improving the drainage conditions in the basin of the river and revitalization. The reservoir will be designed according ČSN 75 2410 – Malé vodní nádrže. The master´s thesis consists of a text section, hydraulic calculations and graphic attachments.

Hejl, Petr ; Milerski,, Rudolf (referee) ; Doležal, Petr (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is to develop a simplified documentation of multipurpose reservoirs in the cadastral territory Třebařov. This thesis consists of the text, graphic and hydraulic calculations.
Safety Assesment of the Šišma Dam during Floods
Škrach, Mikuláš ; Jareš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Jandora, Jan (advisor)
The aim of te bachelor‘s thesis is to evaluate the Šišma Dam during floods. The evaluation is done according to the requirements ČSN 75 2935. The result of the assessment is the evaluation of current condition of body of dam, bottom outlets and spillway and the subsequent proposals.
Studie malé vodní nádrže v povodí Končinského potoka, k.ú. Karasín
Filipi, Helena
The diploma thesis elaborates the design of a small water reservoir, the construction of which is planned on the territory of the Vysočina region in the cadastral territory of the municipality of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem on the watercourse of the Končinského stream. The tank is designed as a flow-through and will realize not only a protective (retention) and water management function, but mainly recreational, aesthetic and fish farming. The entire design of the small water reservoir was designed to meet the requirements of the investor as well as the relevant technical and legal regulations. Based on the field survey and geodetic survey of the location, the technical solution of the reservoir was developed. The drawing documentation was made in the AutoCAD program.
Assessment of surveying techniques for analyzing the condition of embankment dams: a case study of R3 Hájecká dam.
Pechar, Jiří ; Jerman, Jan (advisor) ; Špaček, Pavel (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of methods for surveying the construction of dams and for identifying faults in their body. In the beginning of the work, the issue of bulk dams is described with an emphasis on the material composition and structural elements in their bodies. The work also describes the types of dam failures, their characteristics, causes and statistics of their frequency of occurrence. Finally, the text of the thesis describes the monitoring of bulk dams. The practical part is dedicated to the evaluation of the applied engineering geological, hydrogeological and geophysical methods and their suitability for determining the condition of bulk dams. Based on the results, the benefits and limitations of individual methods and the possibility of their combined use to achieve more accurate results are described. For the evaluation of the above methods, the R3 Hájecká earth fill dam was selected, on which water began to seep through the left bank side of the dam body in the course of 2020. Of the safety ones, the water level in the reservoirs was lowered before the field work, which reflects the choice of survey methods carried out.
Numerical modelling of resealing effects in earthen dams
Bredy, Somia ; Hodák,, Jiří (referee) ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Jandora, Jan (advisor)
This study focuses on the most important sealing technologies; Diaphragm walls and Jet grouting as a major most popular reliable option when it comes to engineering constructions rehabilitation. Those two methods have been used in Karolinka dam for reducing seepage through its body. Diaphragm walls were used along the dam, and jet grouting was used at both ends of the dam. The study deals with the possibility of numerical modelling of these two technologies. It is included how to carry out, interaction with adjacent soil, cement shrinkage, slope stability, changing of pore water pressure with the time, dynamic analysis of drilling rod and the effects of both technologies on slope stability, seepage and settlement of dam. This modelling was conducted with the finite element method based on software Plaxis 3D.
Reconstruction design of a small water reservoir
Růžička, Jaroslav ; Kostelecký, Jiří (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis, called „Renovation of small water reservoir Tupadly in the cadastral area of Tupadly u Čáslavi“ focuses on complex process of renovation of small water reservoir Tupadly u Čáslavi. This thesis was worked on in conjunction with project, that I worked on in company VZDInvest s.r.o. A project with a name of „Rekonstrukce MVN, výstavba vodních tůní a výsadba dřevin v katastrálním územím Tupadly u Čáslavi“. This thesis was made based on documentation from the above mentioned project. More specificaly geodetic survey, data from ČHMÚ, geological survey and soil analysis. This project consits of renovation of earthfill damn, elevation increase of the damn crest, design of new dunctional damn components, whose original condition is in desolate conditon. Next there were proposed mud clearing and deepenig of flod plan and other necessary steps for proper functioning of the crumbling no longer compliant reservoir are described. In the end I made visualisation of this project.
Reconstruction of the Hradisko Small Water Reservoir in the Radslavice Cadastral Area
Mrázová, Iva ; Kostelecký, Jiří (referee) ; Paseka, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis, called „Reconstruction of the small water reservoir Hradisko in the cadastral area of Radslavice“, focuses on the complex process of a reconstruction of the small water reservoir Hradisko. This work follows up on the bachelor’s thesis, in which the current state of the Hradisko reservoir was described in detail. Based on the survey of the dam and the flood using a GPS device, detailed project documentation was prepared. Within the solution for the reconstruction of Hradisko reservoir, a repair of the dam and the increase of the crown of the dam is proposed, new functional objects are dimensioned, the bottom is cleared of mud, including modifications in the flood, and other necessary steps for proper functioning of the crumbling no longer compliant reservoir are described. Functional objects are processed for two variants of the solution. The first option consists of the design of a bottom outlet and a safety spillway, and the second alternative involves the design of a combined functional block. In the end, the total costs of both options are quantified and compared on the basis of an indicative item budget.
