This thesis is focused on behavioral modelling of active elements with independent multi-parameter electronic control using comercially available components. In a first part of the thesis, CVDIBA, CVDOBA, CVCC and OC elements are discussed. The functionality is verified by simulations using OrCAD PSpice. Used components are diamond transistor OPA860, variable gain amplifier LMH6505, differencing amplifier AD830, low distortion differential driver AD8138, current conveyor EL2082 and current mode four quadrant multiplier EL4083. Four active elements are further built on PCB and measured. Some applications like low pass filter, high pass filter, all pass filter and reconfigurable filter.
Differential and pseudo-differential frequency filters
Sládok, Ondřej ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with fully differential and pseudo-differential frequency filters. Significant emphasis is placed on the characteristics of common-mode signal. Further, the text deals with the design issue of fully-differential structure and transformation of non-differential to pseudo-differential structures. In the thesis one non-differential structure, one fully-differential and three pseudo-differential structures are proposed, one of them working in current mode. The thesis also describes the analysis from the perspective of non-ideal properties of the active element of two circuit solutions, which is trying to find the optimal solution. In each case, functionality of new solutions is verified by simulations and in several cases also by experimental measurement.
Pseudo-differential frequency filters
Dubina, Jan ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Sládok, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the theory of frequency filters with a closer focus on the pseudo-difference structure, design and simulation of the pseudo-difference filter. The content of the work is a comparison of different properties between different types of structures and their involvement. One pseudo-differential structure is proposed in this work, which uses two types of conveyors and creates all types of selective filters, their transfer function and simulation of their modular and phase characteristics. The work also includes product fabrication, experimental measurements and comparison of results with theory and simulation.
Differential structures of linear circuits using DDCCs and DVCCs
Sládok, Ondřej ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the differential structures of the linear circuits with DVCCs and DDCCs elements. The introductory part of the thesis deals with the description of the frequency filters. Significant emphasis is put on the active current conveyors. Futhermore, the text focuces on issue of differential structures. The main aim is the transformation of the nondifferential structure to the differential structure using the differential current conveyores and the comparison with the nondifferencial structure.
Design of filters in current, voltage and hybrid modes with OA, using autonomous curcuits
Jašek, František ; Minarčík, Martin (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis describes the procedure of design of frequency filters with operational amplifier using autonomous circuit. At first there is the procedure of an inference common and autonomous circuits with operational amplifier, of which they are follow on derived know and unknown engagement of frequency filters in voltage, current and hybrid mode. In all these inference frequency filters were determine a transmission function, according them is evidently about which frequency filters is discussed (low pass, high pass, band pass, band stop). The derived filter circuits are then selected two unknown involvement, which is set out in detail the procedure in the design of the frequency filter. Both suggestion circuits was verified by a simulation which results are noticed in this thesis and sequentially was made an experimental verified by mounting product in SMD. On this product was made a metering of a transmission and phase frequency characterization which was recorded in the graph. In fine there is a description of propriety of suggestion frequency filters for a practically use in this production.
Switchable filter for UHF band
Sedlák, Milan ; Čáp, Martin (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of multi-channel switchable filter for ultra high frequency band. The theoretical part focuses on a basic features and principles of the realization of frequency filters and high frequency switches. The practical part focuses on the selection of appropriate components and complete design of switchtable signal filter.
Differential and pseudo-differential filtering circuits
Hrbek, Tomáš ; Bečková, Zuzana (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with analog frequency filters operating in differential and pseudodifferential mode. It is focused on active filters second order that use modern active elements. For specific solution is analyzed the ability to control filter parameters. It also deals with the design of fully differential filters and transformations from non-differential filters. The thesis analyzes three specific filtering solutions with which ideal simulations and simulations using third order models are performed. A printed circuit is constructed for one filter solution, its parameters are measured and compared with simulations.

Practical part shows transistor based design of an operational transconductance amplifier using transistors TSMC 0,18 µm from the Taiwan Semiconductor company and designs of two new structures of frequency filters using leap-frog topology. Last part presents schematic diagrams from simulation programms. Verification the function of the operational transconductance amplifier and analysis of the new filter structures is performed by simulation programms OrCAD Capture and PSPICE.
