This master‘s thesis evaluates the financial situation of the company using selected indicators of financial analysis using time series analysis and regression analysis. Theses is separated into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the issue of economic indicators, financial analysis, interpretation and on time series. The practical part deals with analysis of economic indicators, which will then be subjected to statistical analysis, which tries using statistical methods to analyse the trend of individual indicators and on the basis of values from previous periods to predict future developments.

This bachelor's thesis is focused on comapany´s analysis of financial efficiency using time series, regression analysis and assessment of economic indicators. The thesis is divided into three parts. There is describtion of time series, regression analysis and chosen economic indicators in the theoretical part. In the practical part are created time series of calculated indexes in the given periods and compiled forecasts of future development. There are suggestions for improvement to increase business performance in the last section of thesis.

This bachelor’s work is directed to consider the performance of company by ekonomical indexes and time series. In the first part of work, which we can call theoretical, there will be explained instruments, which were used during the work. The second part will be practical, here will be counted main economical indexes, which are the most important for company and thanks these outcomes will be created time series, which will advice, which direction the company being developed. The goal of my work is to analyze the present state of company and tell the hypotize, which could lead to increase the performance of the company.

The Use of Statistical Methods for Data Processing

The diploma thesis evaluates economic status of selected company by analysis of main financial indicators. The analysis is made by regression analysis method and forecast of time series is made by using selected regression function. The thesis result is evaluation of executed analysis and list of recommendations for improvement of the current economic company status.
