Irena Opatrná Novotná Objectives: The main aim of this these sis to describe the possibilities of physiotherapy threatment of patient after distal radius fracture. The summary of theoretical knowledge and a case study of one patient. Methods: The theoretical part of the thesis is elaborated in the form of a literature research. It describes the important information of anatomy, kinesiology and hand function. The traumatology side discusses possible fractures in the area of the forearm, the possibilities of treating the injuries and the most commonly used physiotherapeutic methods. The special part is a case study of a patient after distal radius fracture. The special part includes input and output assesment, description of the individual therapeutic units and evaluation of the effect of the therapy. The data for the special part of the thesis were obtained in Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu in Prague, Vysočany since 13. 1. 2020 to 7. 2. 2020. Title Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of fracture of the distal radius Aim of the thesis The aim of the teoretical part of this thesis is to familiarize the reader with the knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology of the upper limb and to approach the problém of fractures of the forearm with a focus on fractures of the distal radius. The aim of the practical part is to describe the physiotherapeutic care of a patient with a diagnosis of the condition after a fracture of he distal radius by means of a case report using the techniques, methods and knowledge acquired during the study of physiotherapy. Methodology The theoretical part of the thesis is elaborated in the form of a literature search. It describes all the important data related to the themes of the practical part, namely anatomy, kinesiology, hand function and grip. Design of Handheld Lamp

The main purpose of this bachelor‘s thesis is to bring an inovative approach to design of handheld lamp, while meeting technical, aesthetic, ergonomic and ecological requirements. The torch effectively combines modern design and innovatove holding solution; it brings a new perspective on this issue. Torch composed of segments, equipped with LEDs, is placed on the forearm. This solution provides a free hands and high mobility.

Design and realization of measuring device for determination of human arm force depending on elbow joint angle.

The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is design and realization of measuring device for determination of human arm force depending on elbow joint angle. Used measuring method allows to measure this relationship during one continuos movement from one limit position to another. Simplicity of single measurement run allows to obtain a large set of values and evaluate it statistically. This thesis contains a detailed technical description of the measuring device. Actual force and position of hand are measured by electric transducers. Measured values are captured using Spider8 data acquisition system. Based on experiences from first test measurement, the measuring device is modified and drive unit is added. This drive unit is automatically started by a signal from data acquisition system.

Physiotherapy after the forearm and the hand injuries

My bachelor thesis dealing with the topic Physiotherapy after forearm and hand injuries, describes not only the complete anatomy of the forearm and hand, characteristics of the particular injuries and the complications thereof, but also examination methods and possibilities of rehabilitation, by means of which the patients frequently regain former functions of the extremity affected. The thesis aims to find out whether patients are able to return to their original occupations as well as their original hobbies. The research part, in which the casuistic method and that of a free conversation with patients in the course of their attendance to rehabilitation procedures were used, contains descriptions of diagnoses and examinations of two patients with a different therapy success. The conclusion of the thesis resulted in the fact that the convalescence success of patients and their return to work largely depends on how complicated their diagnoses are and on the character of their work. In my opinion patients should be provided with a complex care, which includes timely medical help and subsequent physiotherapy and ergotherapy. A very substantial problem that is omitted is the patients{\crq} mental state, and for that reason the convalescence process should involve possible visits to a psychologist. Another essential thing is to inform the patient systematically on his/her state and future, and his/her motivation for his/her effort of improvement.
