This thesis deals with the evaluation of effectiveness of the use of electronic auc-tions in the public and private sectors. Basic concepts, especially those concerning electronic auctions in terms of public tenders, are characterised in the thesis. It also describes the tenders in private sector in the form of an electronic auction. The practical part is devoted to an analysis of specific electronic auctions, which were made in this sectors. The goal is to find out to what commodities are e-auctions implemented frequently, which is achieved savings, how many suppliers are participating in the e-auction. Then, the comparison of individual sectors in specific commodities based on the selected factors.

Electronic Public Procurement

This thesis deals with the issue of electronic public procurement. The aim of this thesis is to confirm or disprove the following hypotheses. The first hypothesis of this dissertation is the claim that the current legislation constitutes an adequate legal basis for the implementation of electronic public procurement. The second hypothesis states that the electronic public procurement is more efficient and more transparent than the public procurement without electronization. Examining the first hypothesis was chosen in order to determine whether it is necessary to change the law for the possibility of fully electronic public procurement. The second hypothesis, then, in essence asks whether electronization of public procurement improves the efficiency of public procurement and whether it contributes to increase the transparency of public procurement.

This bachelor thesis deals with electronic award of public contracts. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the situation about electronization of public procurement. On behalf of the analysis of the entire situation and the legislation, I'll try to find out the reasons of poor use of electronic tools in awarding procedures. Then I try to take a long hard look at the progress concerning the electronization of public procurement and I make efforts to describe the legislation in this field. In the first part, main terms related to the electronization are characterized, I also comment on important strategic documents and legislation. The second part is focused on specific electronic tool which is e-auction which is a tool that helps to choose the best offer made by the contractors. In this part I look into the course of e-auction and I deal with the conditions that are necessary to run an e-auction. In the last chapter, I analyse some awarding processes. The objective of this analysis is to infer partial conclusions about using e-auctions. I also try to recommend how to act in this process and I highlight some points that are good to take into consideration.
Operating costs of public sector

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the amount of operating costs which is spent on the working of the organizations in public sector in the Czech Republic and to access the possibilities of saving the costs as impact of improving their procurement system of purchasing energy commodities, especially gas and electricity. It also refers to e-auction and commodity exchange as examples of the specific instruments. The practical part contains the survey conducted among organizations of public sector.
The Possibility of Tax Burden Reduction of municipalities through Electronic Auctions

At first, this bachelor thesis analyses and gives the reader an idea about two issues, which are not closely related. One of them is the electronic auctions in procurements, and the second one is financing local self-governing units, specifically one of their tax incomes -- local fees, or rather local taxes. The empirical part of this paper associates these issues. At the start, the thesis researches the dependence of financial savings amount achieved thanks to electronic auctions on the extent of procurements, and then, it applies the relative amount of the average financial saving on the expense of the chosen town in comparison with the income from the local fees and the real estate tax from the year of 2013.
The trade with art

This bachelor thesis deals with the ways of trade with art, focus on fine art in Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the development of art market and its trends -- electronic auctions. In the first chapter the whole problematic is set into the world context. In the second chapter the development of art market, legislation framework for organizing of auctions and support of the import and export of art is described. The third chapter is focused on the forms of trade -- auction houses, galleries, art fairs. The final part is dedicated to description of the differences between classic and electronic auction in Czech Republic.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation system of electronic auctions in the purchasing department of the company economically. It begins with an introduction of electronic auctions and a description of the situation in the company before the implementation of the system. There is also described progressive implementation of the system and realized an analysis forecasts of future costs on the basis of achieved results. Finally, it evaluates the system and its current and future benefits for the company.
