The security level and its impact on the effectivity and efficiency of official development assistance in DRC
Švarcová, Aneta
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the security level in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the state of road infrastructure. It examines the influence of the security cooperation and the Official Development Assistance on the transport infrastructure development. In the descriptive part of the thesis the terms connected with regional security cooperation, Official Development Assistance, and the transport indicators are defined. The analytical part provides an analysis of the transport infrastructure in DRC; the evaluation of road system and the analysis of the transport infrastructure are included as well. This is followed by the evaluation of the influence of the Official Development assistance and regional cooperation on the development and quality of transport network. The author proposes recommendations to improve current situation in the conclusion
Mathematical models in logistics
Nevrlý, Vlastimír ; Holešovský, Jan (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to model and generate test transportation networks, which are similar to real-world waste management networks. Several software tools (Mathematica, GAMS, Excel, VBA) are used to develop suitable procedures. The next task is to analyze dependence of computational complexity on the size of network by using statistical test computations. The existing original optimization model called NERUDA that supports decision-making in the eld of waste management is utilized. The obtained results are processed, analysed and interpreted in detail.
Characteristics of transportation site and evaluation of infrastructure for state Cameroon
Haas, Michal
This Bachelor thesis is focused on characteristics of transportation site in Cameroon and its evaluation by morphological signs that are used in measurements of transportation infrastructure. Another topic covered in my thesis is related with description of composite indicators and measuring of logistic performance of Cameroon through Logistic Performance Index. The Obtained information were used for the description of local situation with analysis of morphological signs and Logistic Performance Index. Recommendations and suggestions for this region and for a region of Cameroon are mentioned at the end of this thesis
Transport system modelling
MATOUŠEK, Jan
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of computer modelling and simulation of systems, and specifically transport system modelling. This project utilizes multi-agent approach to design traffic flow model in a restricted road system. Designed model is afterwards created in the AnyLogic software tool. Experiments investigating changes of traffic flow are performed with this model. Results of the experiments can be seen on visualization of road network or on traffic load charts.
Traffic network of Pardubice, comparison with Hradec Králové
Dvořáková, Iva ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Jirsák, Petr (referee)
Description and evaluation of a traffic network of Pardubice in all transport sectors (air, water, railway, road and cycling) and its comparison with a network of Hradec Králové. Integration of both transport systems. Suggestions for improvement of traffic infrastructure and transport integration. Optimalization of connection of chosen urban neighbourhood with a town centre by urban mass transportation.
The algorithm for seeking the shortest path used in a traffic network - adjustments relative to current restrictions of the network
Kohout, Pavel ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Tichý, Vladimír (referee)
The content of this bachelor thesis is formed by introduction and description of selected algorithms for seeking the shortest path in a graph, and by demonstration of theirs utilization. I concentrate on a practical problem on which I demonstrate an operation of the algorithm in respect to a traffic network with restrictions using real data. Apart from that, my target is to describe some realms where these algorithms could be used. Special emphasis is given to available solution and their problems. The goal of this thesis is to increase knowledge about these algorithms and to support their usage and further improvement.
Transportation network of Pardubicko and possibilities of its improvement
Kolín, Jan ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Mařáková, Blanka (referee)
This bachelor thesis characterizes transportation network of Pardubice, Přelouč and Lázně Bohdaneč. It describes mainly external connection of towns. There is a focus on weaknesses and their solutions. Future projects are introduced too.
