6 Abstract and key-word list The office of Ombudsman in the Czech Republic This thesis addresses the subject of a public defender of rights (PDR) in Czech Republic. Although it has proven itself to be an indispensable institution that contributes to a rightful administration of public affairs, public's awareness about this organization and its activities is relatively inadequate which leaves many aspects of the institution's responsibilities open to misinterpretation. The aim of this thesis is twofold first to provide an overview of the organization's activities and responsibilities to the public, further to propose the necessary alteration to the current law in order to enhance the efficacy and productivity of the abovementioned institute. Moreover to gain a comprehensive view of the public defender of rights, it is vital to specify its position among our legislature and to address its eventual embodiment in the constitution. This thesis comprises of 8 chapters, each of which deal with different aspects of the public's defender of rights position and work. Personal Charasteristics and Social Aspects in Some Social roles in Bullying

My diploma thesis deals with social support of chosen roles which occur while bullying the role of a victim and a defender. The diploma paper is divided into two consecutive parts a theoretical and a practical one. In the beginning of the theoretical part I introduced the problems of bullying and identified the roles which can be present while bullying. I also focused on the characteristics of terms: social support, capturing its forms, the participants of bullying and last, but not least the differences in children´s age. The practical part contains mixed (quantitative and qualitative) research methods. There are two goals of the research, the first is to reveal the potential roles of participants of bullying in a class team, and the second one is to detect the level of social support provided by teachers and classmates to defenders and victims of bullying. The qualitative research works as a supplement, it is focused to opinions and attitudes of defenders and victims considering the behaviour while bullying.

Choosing an antivirus program

This bachelor thesis is focused on choosing a free antivirus software for basic internet usage on a personal computer.
The first part focuses on the issue of malicious software and is divided into categories based on various viewpoints. In addition, several types of prevention are mentioned. This part also explains the history of antivirus software.
The second part contains the actual comparison of five freeware antiviruses. Selection of these five programs is based on a survey. The test consists of five criteria: time of computer deep scan, disc usage, memory usage, user interface and safety rating by AV-Test. These criteria are weighted using Saaty method and the final result is calculated using a weighted sum method.

The roles of students in bullying at school

The bachelors thesis deals with the roles of students in bullying at school. The thesis is entirely theoretical. First we will become acquainted with the issue of bullying in general then in the context of the factors that affect it. We will focus on the issue of bullying in relation to the school group of peers and in creating relationships and roles. The aim of this thesis is to highlight the importance of the issue of bullying, to characterize the role of each participant, describe possible solutions and dealing with bullying attempt to suggest ways of solving based on a comparison of selected projects.
