CANbus controlled power converter
Golej, Juraj ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and realization of a DC/DC converter, which allows power conversion from 10-52 V input voltage to 10-52 V output voltage at a maximum output current of 3 A. The converter can communicate with the superior system via the CAN. In the first chapter I deal with the available integrated circuits of DC/DC converters, from which I choose one for my application. In the second chapter, I propose a block scheme of the converter, which includes the requirements from the assignment as well as my additional ones. In the third chapter I deal with the design of an electronic circuit and with the calculation of control loops. In the fourth chapter I propose firmware for the STM32 MCU, which controls the device and communicates with the superior system. In the last chapter the DC/DC converter is tested.
Switched power source 300 V/100 V
Horníček, Evžen ; Lutera, Ondřej (referee) ; Pavelka, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of switching power supply used for supplying of electronical measurement instruments. The project consists of choosing of suitable type of the converter, system design of the converter, design of the pulse transformer and the output coil. For final control of design was designed the convertor with universal control circuit and there were measured its basic parameters. Then, the universal control circuit was replaced by microcontroller.
Precise adjustable power suplly
Pawlas, Andrzej ; Magát, Martin (referee) ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the proposing precise switching power supply. This switching power supply works with a maximum of 99 % duty cycle. Input voltage is 12 V and output can be set in the range of 1.2 V - 11.9 V. Current can be a source of burden 0 A - 20 A. The entire power supply is controlled by microcontroller. While addressing the proposal switching power supply have been developed five prototypes. Last prototype works well, but the output appeared significant interference.
Universal LED Source for testing of the light guide properties
Feilhauer, Jaromír ; Chmela, Ondřej (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the LED source for testing the properties of light guides of car headlights. The thesis mainly includes the theory of the DC - DC converters, their categorization and the basic properties of the individual types of circuits. The design part is focused on the selection of the required chips. The importance of the chip as the basic description, characteristics and calculations of the values associated components are included. Then it follows with the design of the circuit diagram and the printed circuit, software and communication packet development and measurement results of real sample.
Digital spot-watch
Mejzlík, Vladimír ; Kolouch, Jaromír (referee) ; Michálek, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis discusses options of realization of digital stopwatch with microprocessor line of MCS51. There are analyse different circuit variants, which might enable connection with microprocessor for achieve optimal result. The aim is design circuit solution and source materials for creation of functional prototype of digital stopwatch including development of service software. Verification of functionality and prossesing of achieved aims is part of solution.
Voltage regulator module for graphic card repair
Kožuch, Matúš ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is the design and implementation of multi-phase switching power supply of low voltage and high current which will be used for graphics card repair. Specifications of the power supply feature a minimal output current of 150A, an output voltage ranging from 0,9 up to 1,5V that is adjustable using PWM VID or set to a constant level and fully passive cooling. The thesis also covers the methods used for overcurrent and overvoltage protection followed by the basic topologies of dc-dc converters, their design and component selection. The designed external regulator is equipped with eight phase integrated controller, which senses the output voltage and current of each phase and balances them, while also providing an overcurrent and short circuit protection.

A Design And Development Of A Universal Power Supply For Laptops In Motor Vehicles
Cagáň, Adam
This thesis deals with design of DC power supply with adjustable output voltage, workingin buck-boost topology. Thesis explains selection of buck-boost controller integradet circuit and calculationof values of external components. Designed converter is simulated in LTspice software, where parasitic properties of used components are included. There are summarized parameters ofconverter in different working states. Further there are mentioned planned expansions of converter, including microcontroler integration with user interface.
Power Converters For Cell Electroporation
Folprecht, Martin
This contribution refers about some topologies of power converters, which are used for medical purposes. The use of power converters in treatment of a cancer or an arrhythmia is a modern medical technique, which is still in development. The aim of the contribution is to compare current samples of power converters for medical purposes and briefly describe a design of a high-frequency power generator for AC electroporation.
