In recent times the battery is used not only for startups, but also when driving in city traffic. This behavior can know the concept of a hybrid car. Which is used an electric motor which as a result reduce emissions standing cars in cities. The electric motor is powered by lead-acid battery and a rapid discharging and reducing battery life. The examination of the effect of titanium dioxide on the properties of lead-acid batteries

Despite, considerable advances in technologies for storing electrical energy, lead-acid batteries are still the most widely used these days even it was invented more than a century ago. The functionality remains the same since its invention. Today´s time puts certain pressure on improving some aspects of the functionality like, heat management, charging and discharging speed, capacity and durability etc..... This bachelor´s thesis is based on the last mentioned, Durability,. The work presents the theory of acid batteries with the history of chemical reaction, technological production processes and battery construction. It is followed by a chapter about titanium and titanium dioxide as an addition of negative active mass where all the aspects are being examined in this work.

Proposal for power consumption optimization of photovoltaic power plant

This master’s thesis is focused on opportunities of optimization of electric power consumption from photovoltaic power plant. In theoretical part are presented basic principles and possibilities of photovoltaic system connection. It continues with an overview of backup systems and types of batteries. Practical part is about prediction of production and consumption of electric power, possibilities of power management and optimization. Next chapter deals with battery life cycle and their suitability for photovoltaic system. The last part of this thesis is the quantification of the stored electric energy economic value.
