The aim of the diploma thesis is to find areas in which South-Moravian, Zlín, Trenčín and Trnava regions could cooperate to improve the factors influencing foreign investors. At the beginning of the thesis, the information available on the topic of investment attractiveness and cross-border cooperation is outlined and the factors influencing the location of foreign investments are defined here. In the next part a socio-economic analysis of individual regions is carried out, focusing on defining the factors that are available in the territory and then SWOT analysis. Finally, the thesis contains a synthesizing chapter with defined areas of cooperation and elaborate concrete proposals.

Biopotraviny - analýza situace ve Zlínském kraji

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current situation of organic food in Zlínský kraj region. This thesis evaluates the range of production, certain activities of eco-farmers and analyzes the current situation of organic food and the posibility of their sales in the selected region. With the use of secondary sources is characterized the state and the development of the organic subjects and then with the own survey is detected the type of stores and the sortiment of organic food and prices of this products. On an example of organic milk is described the way of this product from the farmer to the customer with emphasis on price. All findings are presented in the discussion and at the end of the work.

Sestavení lokálních letokruhových chronologií na základě dendrochronologického datování roubených hospodářských staveb z jihovýchodní Moravy

The subject of the thesis is to determine the age of individual farm buildings by means of dendrochronological analysis and compilation of local tree-ring chronologies of the given tree species. The work describes a detailed procedure for dendrochronological dating from sampling and preparation of samples through measurements to their dating. The work also deals with the use of individual trees in structures. The oldest building is a barn from the village of Vrbětice made of beech, whose design elements were dated to 1766/1767. On the other hand, the youngest building can be labeled as a fruit dryer from the village of Pradlisko. Taken oak samples from the construction managed to date to 1944/1945. The most represented tree species in the surveyed farm buildings were beech and oak. Other trees are represented in very small numbers to determine their importance in the structure. The oak elements were used in the construction mainly for foundation sills and the beech elements for the construction of the walls. With regard to the number of samples of individual trees, two local ring-shaped chronologies were created. The beech chronology consists of ring-shaped curves of 29 samples taken from historical structures and 22 ring-shaped curves from live trees, with a non-interconnected section of approximately 93 years between the two parts. Combining these two parts, the chronology would be able to cover more than 300 years (1690–2013). Oak local chronology is made up of ring-shaped curves of 30 samples from the surveyed objects and covers the period from 1700 to 1900. Since there is no beech chronology for the Czech Republic, it is a great contribution to making the basic beech chronology for this region, where beech is the most used wood in buildings. The work contributes to the building of beech chronology.

Marketingový průzkum názoru veřejnosti na rozsah a intenzitu využívání krajiny ve Zlínském kraji

The aim of the thesis is a marketing survey of public opinion on the extent and intensity of landscape utilization in the Zlín region. More specifically, we deal with public confusion about land use, public and private greenery, and fisheries, forestry, nesting, bioenergy and nature conservation. Citizen's views were identified using questionnaires and the results were processed into tables and charts. The results show that people in the Zlin region are generally interested in the landscape around itself and its use. Residents of smaller towns and villages are more interested in using land, forestry and hunting. People living in cities, on the other hand, deal mainly with the issue of urban greening.

Analýza stavu ekologického zemědělství a bioprodukce ve vybraném regionu Zlínského kraje - okres KROMĚŘÍŽ

The diploma thesis „Analysis of the conditions of the ecological agriculture and bioproduction in the selected region Zlín, Kroměříž district deals with the contemporary conditions of the ecological agriculture and bioproduction in the Kroměříž district and with the availability of a range of goods for consumers. Principals and goals of the ecological agriculture, legislation, control mechanisms and production of the organic food are described in the literature review. History and development of the eco-agriculture in both the Czech Republic and the world are also described here. Next section focuses on the description of the Kroměříž district and its environmental conditions for agriculture as well as of the contemporary conditions of the eco-agriculture and production of the organic food. Last part focuses on the analysis of the companies in which the overall benefits for the region is found out through a questionnaire survey. The second questionnaire will be targeting directly on consumers of the organic food. The research findings and subsequent discussion are summarised in the conclusion.

Aktuální stav ekologického zemědělství a bioprodukce ve vybraném regionu Zlínského kraje - okres ZLÍN

The thesis deals with the actual condition of organic farming and bioproduction in Zlín region and it analyzes the situation in more detail in the district of Zlín. The first part of the thesis characterizes the importance of organic farming and its principles are approached, followed by a brief description of organic food. After defining the concept of organic farming, the thesis focuses on history, current status and valid legislation. Zlín region is introduced and described here, its specifics and conditions for agricultural production. The next part analyzes the overall state of organic farming and bioproduction in Zlín region and it compares the situation in individual districts. Part of the work is mapping the local offer of organic food, including comparison of prices with common sales chains and questionnaire survey, which is aimed at comparing the status of organic farmers of various sizesin the Zlín region.

The bachelor thesis on topic Market Analysis and Accessibility of Organic Foods in selected locality of the Zlín Region described the issue of organic food production and the market situation. The literature review describes the basic principles of organic farming. There is defined the concept of organic food, the issue of their production, certification, quality and market situation. Examples of comparative studies between bio food and conventional foods are also mentioned. The main aim of the work was to find the availability of organic food in the Zlín region and to map the offered assortment in the Zlín town locality.

The diploma thesis is focused on an evaluation of functioning of a specific organic farm. The theoretical part describes the history of organic farming, its significance, objectives and current state of ecological production in the Czech Republic. It also describes the necessary requirements for farming under the organic farming regime, including the control system. The practical part is characterized by a region where a particular farm is located and a description of this ecofarm. The conclusion draws a SWOT analysis and a comparison of the registry data of organic entrepreneurs in the region are made.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the influence of domestic companies, which influence the regional development of the Zlín region from the economic, social and cultural point of view. Literary research is based on professional literature. It describes the basic concepts related to regional development and business. In the practical part there are four case studies of major companies in the Zlín Region with an em-phasis on the period from the 20th century to the present. These are Baťa, Svit, JZD Agrokombinát Slušovice and NWT a.s. Each of the companies participated in the development of the region in a different way. On this basis, the work brings a comparison and evaluation of the influence of the companies.

Bariéry rozvoje bioplynových stanic na území Zlínského kraje a možnosti jejich překonání

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to elaborate the topic "Barriers to the development of biogas stations in the territory of the Zlínský region and possibilities of their overcoming". The thesis deals with the current situation of the development of biogas stations in the territory of the Zlínský region, supplemented by cartographic outputs. In the practical part of the thesis, the main barriers to the development of BPS in the Zlín Region are identified through managed interviews with BPS owners and representatives of affected municipalities. I also mentioned here the possible overcoming of these barriers.
