Environmental assessment of timbered house and brickwork block of flats

This thesis is concerned with the evaluation of sustainable construction. It is a multi-criteria evaluation focused on building environmental, socio-cultural sphere, economics and management. The reviews I chose passive apartment house in two of designs. The purpose of this study is to compare the standard insulated brick buildings and in our non-traditional wood construction. At the beginning there will explain the basic concepts associated with the topic. After that, the problems of the sustainable construction and environmental impact assessment, which will describe the basic concepts, methodologies, criteria, description of evaluation. The last part will be made an example of evaluation SBToolCZ brick and wooden buildings passive residential Duma. Comparison of both results achieved certification and think about the advantages or disadvantages of both options. The aim of this thesis is dedicated readers and explain to them the issues of this topic.
Detached House with Winery

This bachelor thesis is focused on a design documentation of a detached house with winery within a cadastre unit of Litovel city. This is a three storey freestanding house with a layout for a family of four. The winery is located in a basement, residential area is located on the first and second floor. A structural system of an object is designed from POROTHERM with an exterior insulation system 120 mm wide. Vertical peripheral supporting structures of the 1st and the 2nd floor will be bricked up with Porotherm 50 eko+ and the basement from a permanent formwork ŽB 25. Interior bearing walls are made of Porotherm 30 profi and non-bearing walls are made of Porotherm 11,5 Aku, except the 2nd floor – these are made of plasterboards Rigips 150 mm wide. Outer coat is silicate, grooved of 2 mm, light brown color. A staircase is designed as cast-in-place reinforced concrete. A ceiling construction is made of keramo beton systém Porotherm (beams Pot and Miako inserts) 250 mm wide. There is a cast-in-place reinforced concrete ceiling over a garage, 150 mm wide. A roof is designed as a roof truss with a clay tile roofing Tondach Hranice11, Amadeus black color. Doors and windows are designed as plastic, mahogany color, a sectional garage door is also mahogany. Floor coverings are designed according to functioning of different rooms – tiles or laminate flooring. The main purpose of my bachelor thesis is to figure out a space arrangement, a suitable construction systém, structural system and a design of drawings including text documentation. This bachelor thesis is in a shape of a design documentation for building execution.
Family house with veterinary surgery

My bachelor‘s work occupies with project documentation for building of family house with operation a vet surgery, with conformity of legal regulation and technical standards. My work solves the buildings dispositions with proposal of right construction system and supporting system with using right materials, important for me was the integration into near built-up area of family houses on the periphery of town. My bachelor’s work evaluates the building from the point of view of building physics. It verifies warm-technical and sound-isolating properties of constructions, from the suggested materials and it verifies the materials with standards values.
Apartment house Žlíbky

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for a new apartment building in Brno in the Chrlice district in the South Moravian Region. The apartment building is located in the cadastral area of Brno - Chrlice, parcel number 1571/2. The solved object is a partially basement building with four above-ground floors. There are a total of 12 apartments on the upper floors. In the basement there are common areas of home equipment. The apartments on the upper floors, except for the first one, are equipped with balconies accessible from the bedrooms and living rooms. The apartments on the top floor are also equipped with terraces. The building is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips. The construction system of the building is a two-way wall. Vertical load-bearing structures are designed from brick blocks, horizontal load-bearing structures are made of reinforced concrete. The building is covered with a flat single-skin roof. The bachelor thesis consists of the main text part and the appendix part.
Life cycle of wooden structures

This thesis deals with comparing the costs of construction of the timber and classical walling system throughout their life cycle. The first part introduces the history of timber, wood as a building material, processing of wood for building purposes, construction of wooden buildings, durability, removal and recycling of wooden buildings. The second part evaluates the cost of building a family house from both types of material and also cost of living in both buildings since their creation until their licvidation.
Horse Breeding and Training Farm

The bachelor´s thesis was based on semester project of atelier work in 3rd semester. Topic of the project is The area for breeding and training horses in village Lipůvka, which is situated in the north side from the city Brno. Designed building is situated on a site by the forest at the end of the village. Whole object is separated to 3 parts according to their functions. Part A includes riding school, part B is for public which includes pension and restaurant, part C includes stables for horses with secondary rooms. Part A and C are designed as wooden and part B is designed from ceramic blocks Porotherm with ceramic ceiling and combination wooden element and wooden roof. Building is especially functional and with its appearance is approaching to nature and not disturbing surroundings.
Family house in Rokytnice nad Rokytnou

This bachelor thesis solves the design of a family house in Rokytnice nad Rokytnou in the district of Třebíč. The family house is designed as a two-story building with a basement, warm flat roof and a garage for two cars. The design respects the nature of the surrounding area and makes full use of the site. Designed for 4 to 6 people. The perimeter walls in the basement are made of Porotherm ceramic fittings and insulated with polystyrene. The perimeter walls of the above-mentioned floors are also made of Porotherm ceramic fittings with embedded thermal insulation. Ceiling structures are reinforced concrete. The plot is mostly flat. The thesis contains the drawing and documentation in the form of the implementation project, the design includes also the thermal technical assessment, the fire safety solution, the acoustic assessment and the lighting assessment.
Detached house

The bachelor thesis has been solving a design of a detached house in Naměšt´ nad Oslavou of Třebíč district. The detached house has been designed as a two-floor house, partly cellared with a flat roof. The projet was created with the main aim of creating a permanent living for a four- member family. A garage is a part of the project too. Perimeter walls of the basement are made of concrete blocks poured by concrete and for perimetric walls of the elevated floor were used Porotherm brick blocks stuffed with mineral isolation. A monolitic ceiling construction is combination of iron and concrete.A lot is located on a southern subtle slope. A part of the project is a technical evaluation, fire emergency measures, other calculations and outcome of building physics. The thesis is elaborated in the form of implementing project, a drawing and documentary part is included.
Guesthouse

This bachelor thesis is a project of new five-storey, semi basement guesthouse in Opava. This guesthouse will be used for accommodation, catering and recreation. Accommodation capacity is 21 people. In the basement is a technical background. The first floor is designed for the overall run of the guesthouse, staff, catering and sports. In the second and third floor are rooms for guests. Almost every room has a balcony. In the fourth floor is a common room with adjoining terrace. The building is brick. The vertical structures are made of ceramic blocks. Outer walls are insulated by outer contact system. The ceilings are mostly ceramic-concrete and a smaller part of the reinforced concrete. The guesthouse is roofed by single-flat roof.
Kindergarten

This thesis describes the design and solution of the object for the education of children of preschool age. It is a newly built kindergarten in the village Želetice, which consists of two classes, each for 20 children. The whole building is divided into several zones - children's departments, communication zone, administrative zone and economic zone.The building is designed as a single-storey brick building and plan corresponds to an L-shaped. Ceiling is made of prestressed panels Spiroll and the roofing is made as single-flat roof.
