Design of a Production Planning Support in the Information System

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the proposal of production planning support in the information system of the company SIK METAL s.r.o. with the focus on software support of processes. It deals with the creation of a proposal to improve the production planning with the support of the company information system, based on the analysis of the current state of production management in the given company and their evaluation. The first part contains the theoretical background for my work. The second, analytical part, deals with the introduction of the company SIK METAL, s.r.o. and the analysis of the chosen processes in the company. The third part contains my own proposal of production planning support in the information system of the company together with the actual evaluation of the proposal.

The Bachelor´s thesis analyzes the studies during the contract in company Eurowagon s.r.o., which is engaged in the manufacture of trailers and mobile cells. The Bachelor´s thesis analyzes both general progress, as well as a detailed analysis of the specific contract, with an emphasis on quality and cost. Consecutively it indicates that should help to promote consumer awareness and effectiveness during the engagement.

Optimization of Production Processes Using Lean Methodology

The aim of this thesis is the implementation of lean manufacturing principles according to the lean methodology in selected company to minimize waste and effectiveness of production. The theoretical part is focused on defining the terms lean manufacturing, waste and lean methods that serve as the foundation for the practical part. The practical part is divided into several parts. First step is to do a SWOT analysis of production in a particular company. Using the lean tools, we find the root cause of the problem and propose solutions to effectiveness the manufacturing process. Part of the proposals will also benefit the proposed solutions. It is necessary to note that according to the lean methodology, not every proposal must automatically have a financial impact.

Risk Analysis of a Weldment Production Process

This diploma thesis is focused on the risk analysis of a selected production process of the company SIK METAL s.r.o. The work is divided into three parts, the theoretical part, then the analysis of the current state and the design part. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts that relate to risks. These theoretical findings are then applied in the second part of the work, where risk identification is performed using various types of analysis. Based on selected analyzes, proposals and recommendations are proposed in the final part of the diploma thesis. Proposals and recommendations contain financial quantifications.

Production of the "truss beam" component in a smaller engineering company

The bachelor thesis describes manufacturing of the "trussed beam" component in a small engineering company. This work is divided to several parts. The first part consists of theoretical points, which describes selected economic terms, terms about manufacturing and specific engineering technologies. Part two contains an analysis of the current state. In part three is created proposal solving, which including a product price calculation and proposal for streamlining production process and technological and economic evaluation.

Proposal of Production Process Using Lean Manufacturing Tools

The diploma thesis is concerned with the implementation of lean components in the production process of selected company. Through the Value Stream Mapping method an analysis of the current state is performed that resulted several shortcomings of the current production process. Based on the outcomes of the analysis, proposal of new production line is made that contributes to increased customer value within a shorter production time, reduce waste and thus to streamlining the production process.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with design of single purpose machine for car latch subassembly assembly. Research part describes issue of production of car locks with the introduction of single purpose machines and their main components. The practical part is accompanied by the design of automated station assembling a torsion spring into a plastic molding.

Software Support of Manufacturing Process Management

The thesis describes the design of the information system that is supposed to support production process at the Varia, Ltd company. Theoretical background of operative production management and information systems is described in the first part. The second part contains the analysis of the processes inside company in which the problematical areas were identified. Based on the analysis results and the theoretical background, the particular design of information system was created. This system is supposed to support operative production management and to eliminate the production process weaknesses.
