GSM Module for Wireless Sensor Networks
Mayer, Jan ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Horáček, Jan (advisor)
Main goal of this project is to achieve communication between user and distant wireless sensor network using GSM technology. This task will be accomplished by connecting Crossbow Iris wireless sensor node and Teltonika GSM module device. Communication itself will be provided by sending/receiving SMS and connecting platform to remote server over the internet using GPRS technology.
Wireless Sensor Network for Building Monitoring with Partially Dynamic Topology
Urbanovský, Jiří ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis describes the possibilities of wireless sensor networks in monitoring buildings and summarizes the most common use of wireless sensor networks in practice. There are also described communication protocols needed for communication between each node and properties of topology of created network. Importance is lay on implementation of fully dynamic network with automatic network topology establishment. The application is designed for the TinyOS operating system and hardware platforms MICAz and IRIS, and its task is to establish the topology and send the data obtained from sensors to base station. The implemented protocol is based on the Collection Tree Protocol protocol and using best effort delivery is able to establish a dynamic topology. Further there is described  the method of storage and subsequent graphical and textual representation of data collected.
Mobile Devices Navigated by an Intelligent Network
Barna, Andrej ; Žák, Marek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This work studies the problem of indoor navigation, using wireless sensor networks. The knowledge of multiagent systems is being used in the process of solving this problem. Platform WSageNt, running on the operating system TinyOS, is being used for the execution of the agents. Agents themselves on the WSageNt platform are created in the language ALLL, which is described in the process. With use of those technologies, a solution is proposed as an extension to the WSageNt plaform and three agents, which fulfill the desired functionality. Then the implementation of this solution is described, followed by its testing, stating advantages and disadvantages of the created system.
Mobile Agents in Wireless Sensor Networks
Spáčil, Pavel ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The aim of this work is to describe platform's concept and interpreter's implementation for mobile agents in wireless sensor networks. The reader will meet with theoretic and practical respect - he will obtain information about simple operating system TinyOS used for Motes' programming, about nesC language and about intelligent agents. Then he will meet with agents' language ALLL. Its semantic is illustrated on clear examples. The platform's concept and the concrete ALLL interpreter implementation will be described. Some examples with detailed description mustn't be missing at the end.
Sensor Modules for ZigBee Wireless Network
Ochmann, Tomáš ; Slaný, Karel (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement modules for wireless sensor network ZigBee. These modules could communicate together and share information about measured values. The network will be managed by coordinator of network, which will process data from sensor modules and will decide about next steps around the network.

Usage of Intelligent Agents in Wireless Sensor Networks
Žídek, Petr ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis is focused on wireless sensor networks and implementation tools for creation and simulation of applications. It describes WSnageNt project, which is intended to support agents in wireless sensor networks. The main objective of this thesis is to extend the WSageNt project with new features that will allow to create agents with more capabilities. These features will be then used to extend the WSageNt project with network node movement tracking capability.
Wireless sensor network configuration
Minár, Tomáš ; Botta, Miroslav (referee) ; Morávek, Patrik (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is dedicated to wireless sensor networks in terms of energy consumption of operating systems. Requirements and configuration principals to assure low energy consumption and effectiveness of sensor nodes are discussed in more detail. This document should serve as an introduction to wireless sensor networks and provide a reader with information about commonly used standards, their differences and field of application. Three most widely used operating systems: TinyOS, Contiki and BitCloud are described and used in practical experiments. The practical part deals with configuration of IRIS sensor node in those operating systems. This part compares the influence of different configurations on energy consumption.

Dynamic Memory Allocation in TinyOS
Križanský, Ján ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Horáček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis aims for a theoretical and practical comparison of two different approaches to dynamic memory management in TinyOS operating system designated for simple programmable devices. For each of the approaches we were observing different aspects, among others the effectivity of usage of resources, allocation speed and usability from the programmers point of view. Thesis also extends the capabilities of dynamic allocation onto external flash memory. It shortly explains the principles behind dynamic memory allocation and it's application in the area of simple programmable devices with limited resources.
