Conditions for the organized and unorganized sport children aged 11-15 years in Brandýs nad Labem - Stará Boleslav

Title: Conditions for the organized and unorganized sport children aged 11-15 years in Brandýs nad Labem - Stará Boleslav Targets: The aim of this thesis is find out the relation of children aged 11-15 years in Brandýs nad Labem - Stará Boleslav to sports activities and find out their satisfaction with the spatial and material conditions for the sport. Methods: To obtain the necessary data was used the method of quantitative empirical research using questionnaires. It was also used data analysis and semi-structured interviews. Quantitative data were processed by PC programs Microsoft Excel and Statistica. Results: The results of the survey revealed satisfaction of the respondents with the conditions for the organized and unorganized sport in the city. It was also found out what kinds of sports facilities and sports clubs are missed by the respondents in Brandýs nad Labem - Stará Boleslav. Sport as a Public Service: Equity and Efficiency of Local Sport Facilities

Title: Sport as a Public Service: Equity and Efficiency of Local Sport Facilities In the Czech Republic, clubs traditionally played a key role in providing sport facilities. In recent years, the role of local authorities in sport has strengthened. Hence, there have been changes in the management of sport facilities in the context of new trends in public administration and sport participation. The thesis analyzes and evaluates current modes of provision of public sport facilities as the consequence of these changes. The examined issue is narrowed down to the two theoretical concepts - sport equity and efficiency of sport facilities. These are perceived as a part of the performance of sport facilities (see Liu et al., 2009 or Kung and Taylor, 2010). The first part of the thesis aims to test the effect of different forms of management of sports facilities on the sport equity score in the framework of institutional analysis (Houlihan, 2005). On the basis of the original instrument for measuring of sport equity, the survey is carried out. The research sample (N = 193) is made up by the municipalities with extended powers, except for regional cities and Prague. The second part of the thesis has the character of an action research. Title: Crisis management and the solution of a bankruptcy of a profitable sports club Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to propose general procedures of profitable sports clubs dealing with crisis and bankruptcy. Methods: This thesis is based on a qualitative research. Documents related to insolvency were analyzed, specifically act No. 182/2006 Coll., The Act of Bankruptcy and Ways of its Resolution (The Insolvency Act), as amended by subsequent regulations and publicly accessible insolvency proceedings in the insolvency register. Qualitative interviews with insolvency law specialists have been executed using the manual to make sure the thesis results are objective. Results: A general manual for entrepreneurs in profitable sports facilities was compiled by the analysis of necessary documents and based on the The Insolvency Act. The manual serves for times when a sports facility gets into financial problems resulting in insolvency proceedings. In some cases, an insolvency proposition has to be submitted, with regard to a potential responsibility of the statuary authorities or people in charge of financial obligations. The theme of the diploma thesis is the solution of the pre-plant zone of the Dukovany nuclear power station. Creating a vision of how this space could develop further in the next 50 years and how it could work in a transitional phase during the construction of a new nuclear power plant unit. The subject of the thesis is the elaboration of an architectural study, which is based on an urban study. Urban study was processed within the framework of the pre-diploma thesis and solved mainly the overall problems of this area, the new transport connection, and the functional division of the whole area. The area was divided into three functional units, namely the transport zone, the administrative zone and the sports and education zone. At present, there are a lot of small structurally and functionally unsuitable buildings in this area. The diploma thesis deals with the design of new buildings with a clear functional use in the administrative zone, in the area in front of the main gatehouse. A new representative square was created, and three buildings are designed around it. The dominant feature of the whole area was a high-rise office building near the gatehouse. In front of the office building, towards the main road, the service building I was designed, which contains business and healthcare services. On the other side of the square was located the service building II, where there are technical services, such as workshops, warehouses and metrology. The last building solved within the diploma thesis is the building of sports and locker rooms of suppliers, which is designed behind the square near the greenery. New building copies mass of the only preserved building in this area, namely the building of the information centre. The designed building has a fitness centre and locker rooms of external workers of the power plant.

The evalution of quality service in the sports facility Power Plate

Title: The evalution of quality service in the sports facility Power Plate. Objectives: : The main target of this bachelor's thesis is determine the service quality of Power Plate Center in Jungmannova street, Prague 1. Based on results of the questionnaire I recommend some improvements which leads to better satisfactions of customers. Methods: In this thesis was used a quantitative method of data collection based on a questionnaire. Results are shown graphically. Results: After results evaluations, several weaknesses of Power Plate center showed. Based on these results we made measures and recommendations which should improve the quality of services provided. Title: Sports opportunities in Benešov and its vicinity Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to assess and analyse the sports opportunities in Benešov and its vicinity and to propose, on the basis of the obtained results, certain changes that could improve the current situation. Methods: The thesis uses primarily the analytical method of research. The method was applied in analysing the local sports grounds, sports facilities and sports clubs. In order to gain vital information from the inhabitants of Benešov, a set of interviews was also used. Furthermore, the SWOT analysis was applied as a means of obtaining a clearer assessment of the local sports environment. Results: The local sports situation has been assessed and analysed. The local sports grounds, sports facilities and sports clubs have been analysed. Opinions of the local inhabitants have also been gained by means of a set of interviews. On the basis of obtained information and opinions, various recommendations for improving the current situation have been created. These recommendations are aimed both at the municipality of Benešov and at private entities and sports clubs. Title: Marketing innovation of Squash Sport Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare the current situation of two sports facilities, which were established at the same time and based on a similar concept. The objective is to propose measures to improve the situation of the less successful sports facility. Methods: In this thesis was used comparative analysis based on previous observation. Results: The results are presented in tables. The overall comparison revealed the main differences between compared facilities. Title: Youth sports activities research in Ústí nad Orlicí Objecvive: The aim of study is to measure of usage of sports facilities by youth in Ústí nad Orlicí and their satisfaction with them. Subsequent interpretations of youth interests in sports. Methods: At theoretical part synthesis method will be used. The research itself will be based on quantitative method - interviewing. Respondents will be students of second grade of elementary schools and high schools in Ústí nad Orlicí. Results: A statistically processed results will be displayed using graphs and tables.
