Manufacturing of car company logo

The logo component will be produced in a series of 8000 pcs. It will be made from sheet metal 0.5 mm thick stainless steel 17 040. After evaluation of possible modes of production, chosen technology is stamping non rigid tools Guerin. As a medium is used POLYTAN. Literary study is focused on the analysis of this technology. Semi-finished product have circular shape with a diameter of 104.9 mm. Semi-finished product will be produced by use cutting waterjet from steel sheet of size 0.5x1250x2500 mm. Utilization of the steel sheet is 76.58%. The forming components are powered by hydraulic press ŽĎAS corp. Cth400 and a nominal force of 4 MN. This machine is in a manufacturing company available. On the basis of design calculations is chosen comply a tool for Guerin method. When you set a margin 30%, the total profit from the production is 24 096 CZK.
Technological steps for producing of bottle opener

FSI VUT in Brno Institute of Technology, Department of Forming. May 2009,pages 35, pictures 24 , tables 3, supplement 7. The project elaborated in frame of bachelor’s studies branch 2307. The project is submitting technological steps for producing from the sheet metal forming sheet iron 17 240. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the sheet metal forming, cutting and calculation was designed cutting with processual tool. Cutting die is using of standardised component. Cutting die are produced from alloyed instrumental steel 19 436.
Manufacturing of the TV Wall Bracket

This master’s thesis conducted within the master's degree focuses on the design of production for component, which is a wall-mount the TV. The blank is sheet steel DC03 and the annual production is 300,000 pieces. After exploring possible options of manufacturing was chosen compound tool. In the theoretical part were explored technology used cutting and bending. Further, the manufacturing process and tool design were made. The suitability of the solution was verified by economic evaluation.
Production of casing

This master’s project describes a proposal for manufacturing technology of a horizontal boring machine case. This case is manufactured by HESTEGO a.s. from a DC01 steel sheet, which is 2 mm thick and its production series is 200 pieces a year. Punching and bending were chosen as the most suitable methods from the considered manufacturing technologies. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a study of the chosen manufacturing technologies. Based on the analysis of the technological calculations and the available tools in the manufacturing company, a technological procedure was designed and these machines were chosen: punching machine TruPunch 5000 a servo-electronic press brake SAFAN E – BRAKE 100–3100. Technical and economical evaluation is also included in the proposal.
Production of Cover of Regulator Tank

This master’s thesis deals with suggestion of production of sheet metal cover in Limid Mohelno s.r.o. Piece serves as cover of regulation device of rail vehicles with visual function and it’s manufactured from corrosion-resistant steel ČSN 17 240 with thickness 1 mm. Esthetical impression is ensured by grinded surface K240. The master’s thesis includes literary studies and problems of chosen technologies, technological calculations and choice of machines including tools. As the best manufacturing technology was chosen punching on TruPunch 1000 and bending on press brake SafanDarley E-Brake E-100. Technical and economical evaluation was made based on selected technology and compared with another manufacturing options.
Optimisation of the punching process on the TruPunch 1000 machine

Content of this bachelor thesis is the suggestion of optimisation of punching process on the TruPunch 1000 in Limid Mohelno s.r.o. Case of device for induction heating is manufactured from steel DC01 with thickness 1 mm. To manufacturing of the evolved shape was as the most advantageous technology determined the punching technology. Principle and fundamentals of punching are described in the theoretical part of this thesis. In the practical part is suggested optimisation including technical and economical evaluation and comparison of the prices for original and new suggested process.
Production of the Carbon Holder

This master´s thesis focuses on the concept of manufacturing of carbon brush holder, made of steel S235JRG (ČSN 11 343), with thickness of 1,5 mm. In order to reduce costs, it was decided to manufacture the holder with progresive stamping tool, which combines cutting, bending and edging operations in order to achieve specific part shape. Based on relevant calculations the mechanical press LEN 63 C was chosen. The production series was set at 50 000 pieces.
The modern processes and technology of sheet metal parts forming

This bachelor thesis contains the summary of methods for unconventional sheet metal forming and tube forming, especially in flexible tools. There are some technologies such as rubber pad forming, hydroforming, high-speed forming and hot forming presented. In next part of the work there are three hydroforming methods for tube components described: low-pressure, high-pressure and pressure-sequence hydroforming. Finally there is comparison of these technologies according to several aspects by available web sources.
Production of a part of the TV bracket

This master’s thesis is focused on the design of the technology to produce a part of the TV bracket. The part is made of steel sheet with a thickness of 2.5 mm. The structural steel S235JR was chosen as the most suitable material with following powder coating. From the possible variants, the production by progressive forming tool was chosen with respect to production requirements and a series size of 30 000 pieces by year. The part will be made in seven steps in designed tool and the total required force is 1013 kN. The production will take place on a mechanical press PCK12 from Bliss-Bret with a maximum force of 1250 kN. The final price of the part is 39.4 Kč.
Forming modern technology in engineering

The project elaborated within the bachelor‘s degree field of B-STI Mechanical Engineering submitting literary pursuit of modern forming technologies in engineering. This thesis deal especially with fineblanking technologies, drawing of elastic tool and high-velocity forming. Description of their principles, advantages and disadvantages. In the last part of thesis was contrast production of driving chain gear with conventional and modern technology.
