Measurement and analysis of postural stability and movement patterns of persons after transfemoral amputation
Vyhnal, Ondřej ; Prokešová, Eva (advisor) ; Majorová, Simona (referee)
Title: Measurement and analysis of postural stability and movement patterns of persons after transfemoral amputation. Objectives: The aim of this work is to understand the compensatory mechanisms arising after femoral amputation and to find out what effect the lenght of amputation has on movement patterns in humans after transfemoral amputation and exarticulation in the knee joint. Methods: In my work I used the method of analysis and method of comparison. For the analysis of postural stability, I used standard tools: force plates (Kistler 9286A) and motion recording system (Kistler 9286A). To compare kinematic one-dimensional data, I used the technique of statistical parametric mapping, which is a generalization of classical statistical tests from scalar to one-dimensional data. 8 probands with transfemoral amputation participated in the study. Three successful attempts were recorded, at three speeds with the contact of a residual and amputated limb. The movement of the pelvis in the horizontal, sagittal, transverse planes and the time spent on a residual limb were analyzed. Results: We found that the length of amputation significantly effects postural stability and movement patterns. It was found that the shorter the amputation stump, the less stable the gait, with greater deviations in the...
Pictures at an Exhibition by M. P. Musorgskij as a piano composition representative of The Five generation. Performance comparison.
Lukáčová, Natália ; Gregor, Vít (advisor) ; Tichá, Libuše (referee)

In the framework of the bachelor thesis, a literature review of the impact of agricultural management and other impact of human activity on groundwater quality will be elaborated. The main emphasis will be put on influencing water chemistry. In the bachelor thesis, water samples from wells will be taken twice a year, when the following indicators will be monitored: pH, conductivity, nitrogen, ions (ammoniacal, nitrite and nitrate), phosphates, organic substances, chlorides, calcium and acid neutralization capacity. In conclusion, the results of the monitoring will be compared with the literature data and valid legislative requirement for the quality of surface and drinking water and evaluated.

Investors doesn't know if stone elements are reasonably priced and constructors can use wrong technology, because there is no good professional literature about this theme. This thesis analyse four special stone gardens and is iterested in their financial intensity and technical difficultness. The results of the thesis are made up from analyses of the stone gardens and informations obtained by garden engineers and stonemasons.
The analysis of erors in the design of geometrical constructions.
Kozubek, Jan ; Kvasz, Ladislav (advisor) ; Vondrová, Naďa (referee)
An error analysis that may appear in the process of a design of problems solved by geometrical constructions is shis diplomas subject. The design of the geometrical construction is described as a cardinal part of searching for ideal solving strategy. In the theoretical part of the thesis there are characterized crucial terms related to the subject (geometrical construction, design of a consruction and error in the design), various ways of their defining and diverse approaches to these terms. An experiment exploring errors in a design of a geometrical construction made by second grade pupils of a grammar school with eight-year study program was designed. Construction designs errors were analysed by sorting according to their features and their possible causes were described. Suggestions of error applications in following geometry lessons arise from this analysis. Keywords: construction problems, geometrical construction, design of a construction, error in the design, causes of errors
