Central server load impact on the IMS network
Kňazovický, Pavel ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Mácha, Tomáš (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with architecture of the IMS network and analysis of the affects when loading the network. Architecture of IMS is a network of new generation. It convergates fixed and mobile networks and it enables quick installation of new multimedia services. The first chapter is focused on the description of the IMS architecture, its components and their function. The next chapter is devoted to the main protocols in the IMS system. It is mainly about signalization protocol SIP. The third chapter focuses on the queueing theory. For simulation of the IMS network, Open IMS Core enviroment was chosen, described in the fourth chapter. Next chapter is dedicated to the IMS Bench SIPp tool used for generating and testing the SIP protocol with focus on the IMS. The final chapter dedicates to the realization of an IMS network. The begining of this chapter deals with the description of individual conections generated by the IMS Bench SIPp tool. In the next part load tests focused on the created IMS network are created and analyzed in detail. The end of the chapter describes the implementation of the real finished call between devices and the Android operating system.
Design and implementation of an IMS network with extended functions using Open IMS Core.
Šulgan, Peter ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Ježek, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the architecture of the IP Multimedia Subsystem, its main elements and extension functions. It also deals with the implementation of the IMS network in the simulation environment Open IMS Core, which is also briefly described. The first chapter describes the IMS architecture divided into layers and it also defines the basic elements such as CSCF and HSS. In addition, it briefly characterizes the most commonly used communication protocols and the structure of identity in IMS. The second chapter deals with the open source environment Open IMS Core, it briefly defines the individual parts and contains a list of configuration files. The third chapter introduces the additional services offered by the IMS architecture. It characterizes their basic functions and their way of working. The fourth chapter focuses on the practical part of the bachelor thesis. It describes configuration procedure of the Open IMS Core and testing of its functionality. It is divided into four sections according to the individual configuration steps.
Modern detection methods of energetic materials
Šesták, Jozef ; Bednařík, Karel (referee) ; Friedl, Zdeněk (advisor)
The review of modern detection methods of explosives was composed. Firstly the thesis deals with the detection methods commonly used in forensics science such as gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, ion mobility spectrometry, Raman spectroscopy and mainly their innovations. Then the thesis is focused on simple but very sensitive methods using fluorescence and chemiluminescence. At the end a methods as the results of a latest research are mentioned. The main of them are micro cantilever sensors and differential reflectometry. Security and counterterrorist warfare is main point of thesis.
Session Monitoring and Accounting in IMS Networks
Karpíšek, Filip ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes protocols used in IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) networks. Freely available implementations of IMS system are described. The main goal is to describe design and implementation of a tool for analyzing communication between users and IMS system. The tool seeks and decodes signaling messages. These messages are analyzed for information about sessions which are necessary for session monitoring and accounting. Final gathered information are exported in a form of extended NetFlow/IPFIX records. We used open-source Open IMS Core implementation for building IMS network and creating test data. As endpoints we used another open-source application for Android OS called IMSDroid.
Integrated management system
Rucká, Marie ; Teš, Vasilij (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
The thesis focuses on one particular organization and analyzes its options for introducing an integrated management system. The author takes a close look at the processes of that organization, and makes a list of all the important things that are related to the processes (including their limits and conditions) and that should be carefully considered when the directives and regulations of the organization are being made.
Analysis of control procedures in EPS networks
Zagumennov, Egor ; Koton, Jaroslav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is acquaintance with the EPS system of LTE and IMS subsystem. The thesis is aimed on analysis of the control procedures related to operations between the terminal and the packet core network of the fourth generation such as logging into the system, user authentication, change the viewing area, handover and disconnection from the network.
Open Source IMS implementations
Ježek, Jiří ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with open source implementations of IMS technology. The theoretical part describes the functioning of IMS and its architecture, including the protocols used, the process of registration and connection establishment, as well as potential security threats to IMS systems. Two open source IMS projects were selected, Open IMS Core and Project Clearwater, on which the work is focused. In its next part, the diploma thesis deals with the description of selected open source IMS projects, this part also includes a description of the implemented security of both projects and a detailed procedure of system installation with any necessary configuration. In its practical part, the diploma thesis focused on performance testing of selected projects using the Abacus 5000 hardware tester. First, initialization tests were performed, which verified the possibility of communication between the tester and the tested projects. Subsequently, it was possible to perform performance testing of selected projects. In performance testing, emphasis is placed on system stability, performance in the area of call set-up speed and response time of SIP messages and speed of user registration in the network, at different load levels. The systems have been tested for both call set-up and user registration. Part of the testing is also the implementation of the flood DoS inviteflood attack and the system's response to the increasing intensity of the attack. The last chapter is devoted to the comparison of selected IMS projects, where the test results are clearly presented. This chapter is partly based on publicly available information, such as the technical documentation of individual projects and possibly publicly available mailing lists. Part of the diploma thesis is also a laboratory task in which the student tries to work with Open IMS Core. The laboratory task focuses on the process of creating a user and his registration in the IMS network, establishing a call between individual users and internal routing in IMS networks. The task focuses mainly on signaling processes within the implemented tasks.

Baev, Mikhail ; Koton, Jaroslav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
Diplomová práce popisuje VoLTE službu, vývoj a nasazení LTE (zaváděcí fázi, skutečný LTE stav a výhledy do budoucna atd.), EPC-IMS architekturu (popis funkce uzlu, rozhraní atd.) Komunikace mezi uzly a funkce, rozhraní a protokoly jsou používány v průběhu signalizace (SIP SDP) a datový tok (RTCP RTP). Detection methods of energetic materials
Procházka, Michal ; Diviš, Pavel (referee) ; Friedl, Zdeněk (advisor)
A research on current methods of detection of explosives and related materials was made. At first the thesis studies methods of detection and analysis of explosives including chromatographic methods (TLC, GC, HPLC, IC), mass spectrometry and its variations, ion mobility spectrometry and infra-red spectroscopy. Next the attention is placed on detection of explosives in solid phase by X-ray detection, nuclear magnetic and quadrupole resonance and thermal neutron activation. Practical applications of these methods are of great importance in this thesis as well as their usage in the counterterrorist fight.
