Residence

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design and elaboration of project documentation for the new construction of the Rezidence apartment building. The proposed building is located in Brno, in the Slatina district, and is located on land that is protected by an agricultural land fund, so it will be necessary to remove it from the ZPF. This plot is not located in a flooded or mined area. It is a detached building, which has four floors above ground and one underground floor. In the new building there are 12 residential units of 3 + kk and 1 + kk. In the basement there is a cellar for each apartment. In the first half there is a bike shed / carriage house, a cleaning room and a workshop with a warehouse, in the second half there are two technical rooms and a warehouse. On the first floor there is an entrance to the building, a laundry room with a drying room, a gym for the inhabitants of the house and two 1 + kk apartment units. On the second and third floor 4 units of size 1 + kk and on the top floor 2 residential units of size 3 + kk. From the second floor, each apartment has a balcony. These apartments are designed primarily for students, couples, or even a starting family. Each floor is connected by a three-armed reinforced concrete staircase, which is complemented by an elevator. The house is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips in combination with lost formwork. The vertical load-bearing structures in the basement are made up of lost formwork, the load-bearing structures above the ground are made of ceramic blocks, which are insulated with a ventilated façade and equipped with a Bond SK1 façade sandwich cassette. The horizontal load-bearing structures form a semi-assembled Porotherm system. The whole building is covered by a single-skin vegetation-retention flat roof. The new apartment building is designed to be very economical.
Residence Dlouha - Building Contruction Project

The subject of this diploma thesis is the building construction project of Residence Dlouha in Olomouc. It is an apartment building with two to four floors and a basement with garages. The diploma thesis contains a time and finance schedule, a site equipment project and technological procedure of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor and a green roof including a quality control. Moreover, a set of machines, usage options of a tower crane or a mobile crane and usage options of a mobile pump or a concrete container have been processed for this building. During the building process it is cared about work safety and environment protection.
Apartment building

The subject of this bachelor thesis was the elaboration of an apartment building for construction stage. The proposed building, intended for collective housing, has 5 aboveground and one underground, partially basement floor, sunk into the sloping terrain of the plot. The building has 10 residential units and house accessories in the form of wellness facility. The building includes a a covered garage and outdoor parking spaces. On the first floor is the main entrance to the building, which is connected to the stairwell. From the stairwell you enter the individual apartments on 5 floors, wellness and technical facilities in the basement and covered garages. The apartments are designed for family living. The apartments have their own terraces from the 3rd floor. The dominant features of the building are protruding bay windows, that face south. The load-bearing structure consists of an prefabricated reinforced concrete frame, the ceiling structure in connection with prefabrication are made of pressed Spiroll panels. Foundation structures in the form of footing pockets connect prefabricated pockets and monolithic pockets,that are interconnected by sills. The infill masonry consists of thermal insulation blocks made of aerated concrete and acoustic sand-lime blocks. The building is then insulated with aerated concrete insulation. The last receding floor consists of a load-bearing structure made of aerated concrete and ceiling covered with monolithic reinforced concrete slab. Roof structures are designed as flat roofs with subsequent protective layers in the form of vegetation layers or aggregates.
Fire station Vyškov

This thesis focuses on the design and preparation of project documentation Fire Rescue Station South Moravia, in Vyskov p.č.2472 / 1. Building design respects the city plan. It is shape and matter does not form an accent. The building is divided into three operating units on the premises standing together with garages, as well as workplace Prevention Department and the Department regional office. It has three floor and one souterrain, roof flat.
Nursery in Presov

The diploma thesis is a project of two-storied kindergarten in Presov. The facility is designed for four departments with a total capacity of 80 children and a separate kitchen. Building plot is situated on the outskirts of settlements in the Construction area in a stable area and the master plan is intended for civic amenities. The vertical support structures are designed from sand-lime bricks. Floor structures are designed from prestressed reinforced concrete hollow core slabs. The roof is designed as a flat, green roof. The façade is ventilated and lined with tiles of cement and particle boards.
Apartment building

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to processing of the design documentation for a newly-built apartment building. The apartment building is located in Havlíčkův Brod. The building has four above-ground floors and one basement. In the basement there are cellars, technical facilities, a common room, a bicycle room and a cleaning room. There are 8 residential units on the upper floors. The apartments on the ground floor are wheelchair accessible. The apartments on the second to fourth floor have their own balcony. On the second floor there is a common terrace. The apartment building is based on strip foundations made of plain concrete. External walls in the basement are made of calcium silicate blocks and the external walls of the above-ground floors are made of aerated concrete blocks. The floor structure is prefabricated structure, which is made of reinforced concrete beams and aerated concrete inserts. The roofing of the building is made of a vegetation single-skin flat roof. The building is insulated with the ETICS contact insulation system.

The development of a method for evaluation of the green roofs' retention capacity

This diploma thesis deals with the development of methods for evaluating retention features of green roofs. For the purpose of this thesis, a rainfall simulator was designed and various types of precipitation were examined. The thesis is divided into two main parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the importance of water retention on green roofs is discussed. In addition, a physical theory related to this topic is included and various rainfall simulators used for scientific experiments in the Czech Republic and abroad are described. The practical part deals with the measurement of droplet size and rainfall simulator design. In this part, the process of measuring the flow and the intensity of rainfall by using scales, flow meter and rain gauge is described. For this purpose, a datalogger was developed by the Faculty of Eletrical Engineering in Brno. Finally, the results are sumarized and recommendations on how to conduct the research in the future are provided.

Diploma thesis solves the design of the elementary school. The building is situated in Letohrad in region Pardubice. The design of the school building contains small sport hall for pupils and for possible public access. Dinning room and the kitchen are the parts of the building. The object is designed as structural masonry system, ceramic bricks with external thermal insulation composite system. Building does not have a basement. The object is divided to three parts, teaching part, dining room with kitchen and sports hall with facilities. The building has two-storey in the teaching part, the remaining part is a single-storey with vegetation roof. All roofs are designed as a warm flat roof. The building is designed for capacity 150 pupils. Building ventilation is provided by air-conditioning equipment. Entrance to the building is barrier-free, it is installed a building elevator inside.
Center of leisure activities

This diploma thesis presents a project documentation for construction of a center of leisure activities. It's construction site located on the outskirts of town Třebíč, "Na Kopcích" street. The building is composed from the two visual and three service parts which are connected to each other. On the left side in first floor there is a bowling with services and the second floor will serve for sport activities of jumping, spinning or relax massages. On the right side of building will be usable for education or for leisure activities. The building is designed as a two floors with partial basement. The construction system is formed by longitudinal wall system with precast hollow core slab or reinforced concrete slab. The structure is based on strip foundations with walls of permanent formwork. External wall is based on clay brick of therm type. The staircase is designed as prefabricated element or cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The roof is constructed as warm flat green roof with expanded polystyrene with screed to fall.
