Self-employed women and precarity – inspiration from abroad

Self-employment is being presented as an appropriate way from unemployment, by the way because it provides higher flexibility and self-fulfilment. However self-employment could be sole (and so involuntary) possibility for women. This report shows how could be situation of self-employed women precarious. By good praxis from abroad it is shown possibilities how to prevent self-employed women from precarious situation or how to moderate it.
Good professional practice in social work with mothers with children in asylum home

This bachelor reasearch deals with the topics of good practice with mothers with children in Shelter homes and also it deals with their clients and their work staff. The main objective of this procect was to find out what methods, theories and techniques workers in shelter homes can use with clients. The thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is divided into four sections, dealing with questions about the shelter itself, clients, shelter workers, and how workers deal with clients in the facility. Qualitative research was selected to achieve the required information. At which, open encoding was performed. Information was gathered through polling and semi-structured interview techniques. The research group was made up of seven ifnormants. Informants were shelter workers and workers in social services. The research was carried out in two shelters, in the Asylum House for Women and Mothers with Children in Opava and in the Asylum House in Šromov in Prague. Interviews were recorded on the devices, which were recorded on the voice recorder and subsequently rewritten. The information obtained was processed using the trumpet method. Research has identified various methods, theories, techniques by which workers use with mothers with children in shelter's homes. In addition, it has been found out how it is effective with direct contact with clients l and what was the next job development for workers in the Shelter home. The results of the bachelor's reasearch can be used for workers in asylum homes, for their further development, as well as for students of Social Services oriented high schools and Universities who plan to work in such a facility. Subsequently, reasearch work can also be used as a teaching material.
Processes of raising funds in service NGO, Case study Domov pro seniory Sue Ryder

The aim of this paper is to describe the process of raising funds on the example of selected non-profit organizations, which can be described as "good practice". Is a case study of one case, which case is the process of raising funds to non-profit organizations with their own fundraising department and integrated social enterprise. There were examined the activities within the processes, the organization structure of the actors involved and the external influences on the processes. Data were obtained by semi-structured interviews, participant observation and document analysis. The data analysis was open coding. Results of the research of the process of raising funds in this work provides a description of these processes that are "good practice". The most important characteristics of the processes were the organization and targeting of the activities, good promotion, reducing dependence on sources with their diversity and active struggle against external influences. The Comparison of Approaches towards the Education of Roma in the Czech Republic and in the United Kingdom

The aim of this thesis is to compare the approaches towards education of Roma pupils at primary schools in the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The thesis identifies British good practices that could be implemented in Czech environment and explores the conditions that have tobe fulfilled for a successful implementation of these good practices. A theoretical framework of policy transfer is used to determine the conditions of a successful transfer. The thesis describes the history and the present of Roma education in the Czech lands and identifies problematic points that lead not only to the persisting segregation and to deepening of unequal access to education, but also to a severe disruption of social cohesion. Using the interviews with experts on education, the thesis identifies the policies used for inclusion of Roma pupils in the mainstream education in Great Britain. The thesis also focuses on the role of expert opinions during the policy transfer and it tries to find out whether there is a relationship between shared policy beliefs and shared opinions on particular policies or whether there are other factors taken into account when the experts formulate their opinions.
The regulation of lobbying in the CR - recommendations based upon foreign experience

Lobbying regulation in the Czech Republic - recommendations based on international experience Summary Lobbying is a natural part of contemporary globalized world, where political interests meet intensively with the economic and other private interests. In order to strengthen the principles, especially transparency and responsibility, some countries adopt lobbying regulation. The USA, Canada, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania and the EU institutions approach to lobbying in some aspects in the same way, in many other aspects they approach to it very differently. Different historical and socio-economical experience of these entities has, often substantial, influence on the differences of their regulation approach. The Czech Republic shares with many mentioned countries the experience of post- communist state, which does not have long democratic political culture and which has many problems with corruption in the public decision-making process. Lobbying regulation under Czech conditions is therefore necessary for raising transparency and responsibility of politicians. Effective Partnership: Partner projects of nonprofit organizations

This thesis deals with the principles of partnership between Czech non-profit organizations. This topic draws on the research of twelve high-impact American non-profit organizations which was carried out by H. McLeod Grant and L.R. Crutchfield in 2007. On the example of the civic association's Koalice nevládek Pardubicka (KONEP) work, the essay tries to apply partial outcomes of this research on the Czech environment, to find common aspects and different elements of the partnership principle, and to introduce a succesful way of its implementation. Through the means of analysis and description of concrete projects and activities of Koalice nevládek Pardubicka organization, this essay presents the benefit of the partnership principle for non-profit organizations and community development itself, and seeks to show its importance in the life of civil society.
IT audit as a support for financial audit

The diploma thesis deals with the use of IT audit as support for financial audit. The work is divided into two larger parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the author describes the audit as such, audit methodology, standards of good practice and information system. The practical part is based on the practical execution of the audit, which begins with the audit plan and ends with the evaluation of testing and possible recommendations for change.
Development of young gypsies´positive identity in leisure time

This thesis deals with an identity of young Romanies. About its development, meaning and importance when searching for oneself. To understand the significance of finding the Romanian youth´s identity, it is essential to get familiar with their culture, traditions, way of life etc. In the theoretical part it is possible to find the topic of personal development with relation to free time, its importance with creating a personality and educational methods applied to working with Romanian youth coming out of {\clq}qgood experience``. The practical part focuses on fieldwork. The research is a verification of hypotheses that were set at the beginning of the work. The next part of the research are new facts that have been found by the author during the realization of the research in fieldwork. This work is supposed to provide an educationalist a complex view of the problems connected with the identity development of the Romanian identity.
