Financial analysis of FC Hradec Králové, a. s.

The aim of this thesis is to carry out a financial analysis of the company FC Hradec Králové, a. s., for the years of 2011 - 2016. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part represents methodological part, which introduces financial methods and indicators used in the second part. In the second part, the practical one, there is an analysis of balance sheet and income statement, and selected financial indicators and comparison with other football´s clubs are interpreted. Before choice of competitive companies there has been analyse of financial reporting by clubs from first and second football league. Conclusion contain final summary and recommendations for best financial situation.

Cash and Cash Equivalents under Czech Accounting Standards, IFRS and US GAAP

This bachelor thesis pays attention to financial reporting of cash and cash equivalents in compliance with the Czech Accounting Standards (ČÚS), the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and to the differences coming from these standards. This thesis is divided into three main parts. Firstly, it will focus on defining the terms that are associated with the topic, further, it will be dedicated to appraising, repricing and financial reporting of cash and cash equivalents in accordance to the three accounting standards, and lastly, it will practically demonstrate the differences between them.

Accounting solutions of reorganization and its influence on reporting in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis describes the bankruptcy of the company, which is solved by company's reorganization, in accordance to the Czech legislative from bookkeeping and reporting and marginally from law point of view. In the beginning there is a short description of the reorganization process and further definitions of main terms with which such process is connected. Main part of this thesis is focused on couple of possible ways how the reorganization of the company may be performed. Finally, such solutions are deeply analyzed within finished processes of reorganization including the calculation of the part of settled liabilities.

This diploma thesis is focused on the financial health of the company, whose business is based on distribution of racing class ships all over the world. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the company and to propose ways to improve it. At first, the thesis deals with the theoretical basis of the company's economic analysis. Then these theoretical starting points for the company are practically applied. Consequently, according to the results, the economic situation of the company is interpreted and measures have been proposed to ensure a positive financial condition of the analyzed company.

Disclosure of player contracts in football under IFRS

The goals of this diploma thesis are to characterize the current stadium of disclosure information about player contracts in football based on the IFRS standards and describe possible policy improvements for accounting standards. Theoretical part focus on an analysis of chosen IFRS standards, especially IAS 38 and UEFA regulations. Practical part of the thesis present a research of player contracts in the hands of particular football clubs with an emphasis on the method of acquisition.

This bachelor´s thesis evaluates the financial situation of OHL ŽS, a.s. in the period 2009 – 2013. The first part defines the theoretical foundations of financial analysis methods, instruments, indicator and methods of use. In the second part of the paper there is practical use of financial analysis in the company. On the basis of received data, recommendations which should lead for improving the financial status of the company, are suggested.

The first part defines the theoretical foundations of financial analysis methods, instruments, indicators and methods of use. In the second part we can find the application of selected methods of financial analysis for the company CLIM-Tech Ltd. The last part deals with possible proposals to improve the financial situation of the company based on the financial analysis used in the second part.

The first thesis’ part analyze theoretical fundamentals of these methods, in the second part is the company introduced. The third part is an application of financial methods. In the last part there is a summary of a financial situation and proposals to its improvement.
